Pakistan Portal - Archives

W'sallam,

I have added the archive you requested for the Portal:Pakistan to the featured articles every week. Do check it.

I have also added a similiar archive for the featured pictures on the Pakistan Portal aswell. I shall continue to update bits and pieces on it. Thanks, Fast track 02:35, 17 March 2006 (UTC)

Articles/images about Pakistan

W'sallam,

I think its best to focus on articles and images related to Pakistan as the Portal is for Pakistan. There are Protals for Islam, Asia and technology, where you can read up about those topics. This portal was created for articles and images about Pakistan onlu.

I think we should keep the images and articles on a week basis that way it allows time for people to read it, by changing it everyday is too much....we need to give the readers a bit of time and a week is enough no more no less. Fast track 23:12, 17 March 2006 (UTC)

Changes to Portal:Pakistan

W'Sallam,

I have made the following changed to the Portal:Pakistan

  • Removed the "Categories" and "Wikiprojects" boxes, as requested and replaced it with the "This Week back in history" box, which i hope is reguarly updated. Otherwise, I will change it to another box as the portal should be continually updated.
  • The "Archives" are corrected, as we have just started this portal from srtach, we dont have much of a history to fill in. The Archives are meant to remain on the Portal page, check other Portals they have the same format. I would like article and images to be as varied as possible so we can represent many parts of PAkistan...
  • I think the notice board for pakistan related topics needs to be formated as it has been left for so long without much use. The noticeboard needs to be reader friendly so it is easy to join the community. For ideas check some of the other noticeboards from the list of noticeboards.
  • I am going to change the image and feature article on Friday so let me know of some ideas as soon as possbile? The feature article and image for week one are already into the archives as WEEK ONE.

Many thanks, Fast track 20:19, 21 March 2006 (UTC)

The Wiki Pakistan Community

Hi Taqi Haider,

Firstly, just like to say your doing a good job creating alot of awareness of Pakistan through all these articles, especially your work on the main Pakistan community page article, which im hoping we can all promote.

The Pakistani community for sometime has been very dormant, as there were not many people here to write articles related to Pakistan. I think alot of us should asign tasks and work more as a community than individually. Here's the link;

Wikipedia:Notice board for Pakistan-related topics. Do take a look at all the other communities the way they are working to improve articles and promote their communities.

I think its about time we all do the same. As you may notice everthing is just been laid out, so now its our turn to fill the gaps. Do pass the word on to other Pakistanis and people working on Pakistani articles.

Many thanks, Fast track 06:07, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

Request for your deleted and merged content for review

Greetings @ Elminster Aumar

I came across your talk pages discussions @ various talk pages relating to deletions and mergers of some of your content vis a vis ' 2022 political crisis relating Imran Khan ministry'

Prima facie your suggestion for broader article title seems reasonable hence I wish to review deleted and merged content of yours.

1) Is any (even minor) content deleted ? deleted from which title ? is it available in history ? if so which edit which page?

2) If content is deleted along with title and not available now then which title is deleted which I will need to request admins to make it available for review.

3) Which of your content is merged and still available for reading in which articles ?

Thanks and warm regards

Hello, @Bookku, there have been so many changes now in those articles, it will be very difficult to bring them back to their original state.
if you want to check the history have a look here
also note what happened
1. Page created for 2022 Pakistani political crises
2. Page renamed by another editor to 2022 vote of no confidence in the Imran Khan ministry
3. Page copied and pasted, with proper edit summary, to No-confidence motion against Imran Khan
4. New page created 2022 Pakistani political crises by same editor who copied and pasted the old article
5. Some more movements and changes and now we have 2022 Pakistani constitutional crisis
6. the Copy/Pasting user is now banned indefinitely due to sock puppetry, I had some idea this user was multiple account issue based on the very less number of edits and expert way to use Wikipedia
My suggestion is to leave everything as it is now, it will take too much admin time to sort everything out. Elmisnter! (talk) 05:00, 4 April 2022 (UTC)

Okay no issues. Happy editing
