Gaga The Fame Part One
Hi. I am interested in creating an article for the video below (I would like to know if it is even worth creating one first) and if you would like to help. I have also and/or are going ask other users frequently on the article and it's extensions. I hope to hear from you.
Vids- One is imeem (the source). http://www.imeem.com/ladygaga/video/4U2rMmOJ/lady-gaga-the-fame-part-one-dance-video/ Thanks I am Rorschach (talk) 03:42, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
- Hi. Any subject could have articles in wikipedia as long as its notable. Has the video received third-party coverage? Or if it fails to meet the criteria, which of the gaga articles can we possibly merge the info? --Efe (talk) 08:45, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
- Hi, I am trolling the net to find sources, legalos says it will brun at the AFD. THe merge would the-The Fame (album) under promotion. When I find sources I will reply to those who are intrested. Thanks I am Rorschach (talk) 09:04, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
Take a look?
I redid List of number-one albums of 2008 (Japan) based on the work you did on List of number-one albums of 2008 (U.S.). I was wondering if you can give it a look and tell me if you think it'll stand a chance at WP:FLC? It's my first time working on a list article so I ready would appreciate your input. ~Moon~月と暁~Sunrise~ 17:19, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- Hi. I did some minor fixes there. I think its passable. I am wondering if you could use the magazine as a supporting inline source. The prose I think needs a little more polishing. But overall its good. --Efe (talk) 11:58, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you for your input. I'll try to include the magazine into the article and I'll work on the prose. ~Moon~月と暁~Sunrise~ 13:59, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

New
I created a new article based on List of number-one albums of 2008 (Japan), List of number-one singles of 2008 (Japan). I worked on it last night and this morning. It needs a copy edit and I could expand and write the lead better,.,but I just want to know at a glance how does it look? I might send it to WP:FLC in a couple days-after expanding and the copy edit of course. Hope you don't mind that I made a subsection rather than a new section. ~Moon~月と暁~Sunrise~ 14:16, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
- I think it needs more copy editing, specifically for consistency and technical aspects. For example:
- "female Japanese artist" and "non-Japanese Asian male artist". Which must come nearest to "artist"? The nationality or the gender?
- "to have four number-ones" use hyphen when the term is used as adjective. No hyphen when its noun.
- fastest selling single of 2008" should be "fastest-selling".
- "Mirrorcle World" [sic] Why the use of sic?
- "debuted atop the chart, this made" should be ", making" or alternatively "; this made"
- Hope that helps. --Efe (talk) 12:40, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

Hey Michael. Can you come to the talk page of Poker Face? Actually I don't know how to close the peer review. Its done. I'm waiting for it to close to nominate thearticle for GA. Thanks--Legolas (talk2me) 06:28, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Hi Mark. I have been working on the True blue album for quite sometime. What I wanted to ask was I am facing a dilemma regarding a section on Papa Don't Preach. As you must be knowing the song was subject of controversy at its time because of its theme. I wanted to include all those reactions from groups in the album page also. But I can't think of what section title should I give. Should it be Papa Don't Preach controversy? Or anything else? Please suggest something. --Legolas (talk2me) 08:35, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
- I think the current subtitle is fine. Its general. Realist suggests not to use controversy. Its an evil term, according to him. --Efe (talk) 12:26, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks Efe. By the way, what do you think of this and this? Can they pass GA? The first one is nominated already but the second one is still being developed. --Legolas (talk2me) 12:31, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
- As usual. "Miles Away" is ready to go. You've really done a great job. Only I can suggest is a little more polishing of the prose, especially on the technical side. Good luck. --Efe (talk) 11:16, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks Efe. I'll keep it in mind. --Legolas (talk2me) 15:51, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
- I have nominated "Give It 2 Me" also for GA. Please take a look and let me know if anything else needs to be done. --Legolas (talk2me) 10:24, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
- So what do you think of it? --Legolas (talk2me) 13:11, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
- I think its passable, although the article needs more polishing. I suggest you to avoid using terms that are vague in the context of music, like blistering and cute. They aren't descriptive and do not help the readers understand better the nature of the song. Hope that helps. --Efe (talk) 10:42, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:A Walk to Remember (Hardcover).jpg)
Thanks for uploading File:A Walk to Remember (Hardcover).jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:05, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

This Love
Hey Efe, what's up? I know that you have limited internet access, but I was wondering if you have some time if you can check out "This Love". If you can, that's all I ask. If not, then its fine. Oh, Happy Cinco de Mayo. :) -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 19:05, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
- Hi Blue. I think what you need to do is supply the length of each track in the tracklisting, and MTV News should not be in italics (in the references), and I think MTV and Rolling are overlinked in the ref section. That's all and its ready to go. Good luck. I'm a very slow now. Sorry. Limited connection. --Efe (talk) 11:59, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
- Well, I couldn't find any info. to expand the track list, unless someone else can a find a source. I fixed the parameter for MTV News and left a couple of links in the reference section. Its fine, I was having doubts that you would respond to my query, but I'm very glad you pointed this out. Thanks. :) -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 19:27, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

Any Help?
Hi there. How have you been? Haven't spoken to you in a while.
I've seen your work and have been impressed, and I was wondering, if you're not too busy, if you could give me a little hand with an article. Right now, my main issue is writing about the music/song structure/composition etc. I have all the information (fixyourmix, LATimes and The Times). I'll get back to you with a sort of rough draft, if possible, and if you can help at all, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Orane (talk) 06:55, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- I will try to go on a research. If I can find more info, I'll inform you. But I don't promise. Really I'm a bit busy and have limited internet connection. --Efe (talk) 12:00, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
