Pro wrestling WikiProject
[edit]Hello Eenu, would you like to join the Pro Wrestling WikiProject?
Hello Eenu. You have recently reverted an edit by 24.190.148.2 (talk, contribs). No problem with the revert, but you've also put {{test3}} in his Talk page, which I believe is way too harsh for a user's first edit, especially when despite being a nonsense edit, it is pretty harmless. Since there is always the possibility that we have a good-faith editor not knowing what he is doing and\or wanting to check that he really can edit Wikipedia, I think you should always start with more friendly statements, and gradually go up the warning scale if the user continues to make senseless edits. As an example of a case that looked at first like vandalising and turned out to be good-faith, see the diffs [1] and [2], as well as User talk:BorisFromStockdale#Your edit at Pi. Always assume good faith. Also, whichever template you do choose, it is best to subst it. -- Meni Rosenfeld (talk) 16:43, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
Template warnings
[edit]I see that you put template {{test5}} on User talk:203.24.9.15, however you did not block them, since I don't think you're an admin and it's not in the block log. Please don't put that template on pages unless you actually block the user, because otherwise it just confuses others trying to deal with that editor's vandalism. Makemi 04:50, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
Hall Of Fame
[edit]When Tony Atlas and William Perry were put on the Hall Of Fame page here they weren't officially announced. That is why I removed them.. so yeah I do know what I am talking about! However since then they have been officially announced so that is why they are staying.
Thanks

[edit]Screw this, no more. im a Canadien citizen. I watch SmackDown every THURSDAY. IN case you didn't see that it's THURSDAY that I watch SmackDown. I am sick and tired of being told, "oh wait until it airs in the states". Im not in the states. Im in CANADA. I repeat CANADA. Match capitalisation
[edit]WWE.com isn't a very authoritative source in this situation. The page you linked to uniformly capitalises all match types, regardless of whether they are WWE specific matches or not. The best compromise would appear to be to capitalise the variables and keep "match" in small case lettering. McPhail 00:01, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

WrestleMania
[edit]Can we put a block on the WrestleMania page? Im tired of having to go back and change WrestleMania 23 to TBD on place and arena. --Killswitch Engage 05:03, 2 April 2006 (UTC)Killswitch Engage
I went and put a protect on the page until WrestleMania when things have been confirmed. Hope this is ok.--Killswitch Engage 05:07, 2 April 2006 (UTC)Killswitch Engage

[edit]Good job - sourcing those claims - just in case you are wondering I didn't just put cititation tags - I'm trying to apply what's here. It's summed up by Jimbo's comment on the same page:
Jimmy Wales has said:
I can NOT emphasize this enough. There seems to be a terrible bias among some editors that some sort of random speculative 'I heard it somewhere' pseudo information is to be tagged with a 'needs a cite' tag. Wrong. It should be removed, aggressively, unless it can be sourced. This is true of all information, but it is particularly true of negative information about living persons.

WrestleMania 23
[edit]I can't reply on the talk page, so I will reply here. IF we don't list the match, then we shouldn't mention Undertaker's RR win either. Also, once he does make his decision the match can be listed. TJ Spyke 21:31, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

Invitation to Meetup/Seattle6, a focus group
[edit]Hello. I'm part of a research group at the University of Washington (Seattle campus), and my group is reaching out to Wikipedians in the Puget Sound area. We're hosting a focus group designed to gather information on what Wikipedians would like to know about each other when interacting on Wikipedia. Our end goal is to create an embedded application that helps people quickly know more about others' history and activity on Wikipedia, and we feel our design will be much more useful if it's based on insights of users like you.
I'm hoping that the chance to help out local researchers, to engage in lively face-to-face discussion with other Seattle Wikipedians, and to contribute to Wikipedia in a new way will entice you to join us. The session lasts 2 hours and snacks are provided. Sessions will be held on UW Seattle campus - directions will be sent after registration. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated!
Willing and able to help us out? RSVP here. Want to know more? Visit our user talk page . Please help us contact other local Wikipedians, too! Commprac01 (talk) 01:03, 15 March 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to the inaugural edition of the WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter! I hope this will be a good source of news to those people interested in what's happening around our pro wrestlimg community. I plan to release it every Sunday. This newsletter will just be a way to get the community announcements to people who don't have the time to check the mesageboards, as well that to those just curious about the news. The newsleter will consist of a project news section (to do with what's happening on Wikipedia), and a current events section (relating to news in the "real world"). The newslette will also contain the Collaboration of the Week announcement. That's all. If you have any feedback or suggestions, please post them at this talk page. Welcome to the second issue of the WP:PW newsletter. We apologize for the delay. There was an issue regarding the delivery process. Anyways, we had a lot of good feedback for the last newsletter. We not only received feedback at the newsletter's talk page, but I also received some messages on my talk page as well. Thank you to those who responded. The only complaint we received was about typos, and we will try our best to keep the newsletter error-free. Please continue to offer feedback and new ideas for the next issue. The more we have, the more we'll know how to improve the newsletter. Again, thanks! Contributors to this Issue:

The WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter is starting up an interview segment that has been in the works for some time now. The current schedule for interviews can be seen here. If you would like to submit a question for an interviewee, please do so by following the instructions here. We are accepting questions for any future interviews. If you would like to sign up to be interviewed, then you may do so here. We hope that this segment will be one of the most popular this project's newsletter has to offer, and promote a greater sense of community amongst the project members. The first interview will be published in next week's issue, and will be with TJ Spyke. In other matters, we are still running low on current events. If you know of any in the wrestling world that you believe merit mention in the newsletter, or wish to comment on any other aspect of the newsletter, then please contact us here. Thanks everyone, and enjoy the holiday season.

WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter message
[edit]It has recently been brought to the attention of WP:PW that the newsletter is being to delivered to several users who have not been actively editing for several months. As a result, their talk pages have become increasingly large, unmanageable and slow to load due to a lack of archiving.
In response, this message is being sent to all editors listed in Category:WikiProject Professional wrestling participants to say that anyone who does not list their name at Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Newsletter/Active before May 16 will be automatically listed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Newsletter/Nospam, and will no longer receive the newsletter or any notification of it. If you are added to Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Newsletter/Nospam, please feel free to remove your name if you desire.
If you wish to continue receiving the newsletter as normal, please add your name to Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Newsletter/Active. If you have any queries please contact me at my talk page or leave a message at WT:PW. Thank you for your co-operation. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 00:36, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
