Hello
[edit]Taking a look at your contributions, it seems like you might happen to be a Filipino. You might be interested in adding yourself to Category:Filipino Wikipedians, or checking out Wikipedia:Tambayan Philippines, a notice board for Philippine-related topics. Welcome again to Wikipedia, and happy editing! :) Coffee 17:19, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
Sources for Atang Dela Rama
[edit]Hello. Good work on Atang Dela Rama, and thanks for the contribution. However, you did not provide any references or sources in the article. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and as you might be aware there is currently a push to encourage editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. Can you list in the article any websites, books, or other sources that will allow people to verify the content in Atang Dela Rama? You can simply add links, preferably as inline citations, or see citation templates for different citation methods. Thanks! Shawnc 12:58, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
It would be best to merge these two pages together under the title List of Philippine actors, and then place redirects on Philippine Actors and List of Filipino actors. Most lists on Wikipedia have titles starting with "List of". Also, they should probably be sorted alphabetically by their last names rather than by their first names. If you have any questions, just ask me on my talk page. and I'll be happy to help you. (Another good place to look might be our Philippine notice board, at Wikipedia:Tambayan Philippines.) --Idont Havaname 00:03, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
- I just did a history merge on those two pages, so now Philippine Actors redirects to List of Philippine actors. However, since you had edited Philippine Actors most recently, the text of your most recent version there is now at List of Philippine actors, so your edits are still there. (I did clean up the introduction to the article a little bit, though.) Thanks for your contributions on those pages! --Idont Havaname (Talk) 19:21, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
Sources
[edit]Hi! You clearly know a lot about the Filipino movie industry, but you really need to give provide some sources so that other editors can improve your articles. At least two of your articles are up for deletion (one of them, Baby Zobel, nominated by me), because the community has no idea whether what you've written is true or not. I also had a go at rewriting another page, Rogelio dela Rosa, but because I couldn't see your source I couldn't, for example, work out what "Philippine Queen of Movie" meant, whether it was an award, a media nickname, etc.
Is there possibly a Filipino equivalent of IMDb or Halliwell's Film Guide that we could use to confirm what you've written? --Last Malthusian 00:09, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
Non-notable biographies
[edit]I have placed a tag on the article Prescilla Concepcion, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. I did this because the article seems to be a biographical account about a person, group of people, or band, but it does not indicate how or why he/she/they is/are notable. If you can indicate why Prescilla Concepcion is really notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly, and also put a note on Talk:Prescilla Concepcion. Any admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You might also want to read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. -Werdna648T/C\@ 09:23, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
Chiquito was a simple redirect to Minor characters in Tintin. It was therefore unecessary to move the page to the misspelt Adventured of Tintin. Besides you didn't edit Chiquito's page, but the target of the redirect (Minor charaters in Tintin). Now the Minor characters in Tintin page has been moved back to its original name, and I moved your text to the Chiquito page, where you intended it to be. I would suggest to think twice before making a move, and to follow the proper procedure described at Wikipedia:Requested moves to avoid that kind of mistakes. Besides, you should consider adding sources to the Chiquito article, because I didn't find anything about him on the web. The page may end up on the Article for deletion process if you do not provide sources to assess the notability of this actor. Happy editing Glaurung 15:08, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
Category merges
[edit]Hi. Wanted to let you know that I've initiated merges for a few of the categories you created. Category:List of Filipino Actors already existed as Category:Filipino actors and Category:List of Filipina Actress is also not good since no other nationality breaks out actors and actresses into different categories. If those disappear in the future, don't think that they're missing and re-create them. It means that Category:Filipino actors is the one you should be using. Let me know if you have any questions. :) —Wknight94 (talk) 05:47, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
- Same goes for Category:Filipino film directors. You recently created two new categories that should both be covered here: Category:Philippine Director and Category:Philippine Movie Director —Wknight94 (talk) 14:43, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
Filipino Actors/Actresses
[edit]Can you please expand on the articles of the actors and the actresses which you created? Many of them are strong candidates for speedy deletion while others are not really written as an article. Thank you --† Ðy§ep§ion † 06:24, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
Your e-mail address in articles
[edit]Hi. Please refrain from putting your e-mail address in articles that you create. This is not a standard practice on Wikipedia. Someone will just go through and delete it. —Wknight94 (talk) 02:49, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
New articles
[edit]You might check out Wikipedia:Guide to layout to get a sense for how to start an article. Articles should start with a sentence like:
- Norma del Rosario (born 1914) is a Filipina silent actress who is the elder sister of Mila del Sol.
- Not: Born in 1914, a Silent Filipina Actress who is the elder sister of Mila del Sol
The actor's name ought to be the first word, the sentence ought to be grammatically complete, and words should be capitalized according to standard English grammar rules.
Thanks. NickelShoe 01:24, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
As well, in your article Luisa Acuna I don't understand this:
- Silent Pictures of 1920.
Please clarify
- Ted Wilkes 13:57, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
- Also, could you please place articles in the relevant subcategory olnly, and not the parent category (i.e. don't place them in 'Cinema of the...). Thanks. The JPS 22:43, 11 February 2006 (UTC)

Stub tags
[edit]Thanks for contributing articles on many Filipino actors to Wikipedia. Please don't assign the "movie-stub" tag or "film-stub" tag to articles about people; these are used for films only. "Actor-stub" should be enough. Cheers, Her Pegship 23:34, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
Rino Bermudez has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt this information might be unverifiable. Please provide sources to comply with WP:V. NickelShoe 14:33, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

Hi. Thanks for your contributions reagarding Tagalog movies. However please have a look at the recommended format of movie articles. They should be described in sentences, not in tables. Your article Alyas Fu Manchu
[edit]I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Alyas Fu Manchu, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Alyas Fu Manchu. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Unspecified source for Image:Ai Ai.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Ai Ai.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Jusjih 06:26, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:Alessandra.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Alessandra.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

If you remove the prod notice, the deletion process will stop, but if an editor is still not satisfied that the article meets Wikipedia guidelines, it may be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion for consensus. While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Edbon3000! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 21 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 318 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

Speedy deletion of Norma del Rosario

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Corazon Noble, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://gypsybaldovino.wordpress.com/feed/.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Speedy deletion nomination of Corazon Noble
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Corazon Noble requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from https://gypsybaldovino.wordpress.com/2014/04/02/corazon-noblequeen-of-hearts/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The article Lucita Goyena has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Wgolf (talk) 16:42, 8 March 2015 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Edbon3000. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Edbon3000~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of Reynaldo Dante
[edit]The article Reynaldo Dante has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No claims of notability by WP:NACTOR: lots of films, but not notable ones (spot-checking, I can't find bluelinks for the filmography entries). Editors can't even agree on his birth/death dates, which suggests there are not in-depth independent-and-reliable sources about this person.
