A tag has been placed on User:EArvaWeb requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hi Wgolf! Have I brought my UserPage into adherence? Wondering if I am still in line for deletion or if we could remove or move this section? I'm a total newbie so I appreciate your help!

I have sent you a note about a page you started

[edit]

Hello, EArvaWeb

Thank you for creating A Calculated Risk (novel).

User:TheLongTone, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

The synopsis reads like a blurb rather than a synopsis; in my experience blurbs have a very sketchy relationship to the book they puff and many seem to have been written by somebody who has not read the book in question.

To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|TheLongTone}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .

(Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Hello, {{Re|TheLongTone}} / TheLongTone

(Quick question - - which way (of the two above) should I post your name to alert you?)

Thank you for your comment, and I'm sorry it's taken me so long to reply! I agree that it read too much like a blurb. I should have added more details - is there anything else you'd recommend to improve it? I also happily see that others have made edits to the page to improve it. Any & all help appreciated.
Thanks! EArvaWeb (talk) 15:29, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi EArvaWeb! The thread you created at the Wikipedia:Teahouse, Query regarding submitting article for AfC, has been archived because there was no discussion for a few days (usually at least two days, and sometimes four or more). You can still find the archived discussion here. If you have any additional questions that weren't answered then, please feel free to create a new thread.

The archival was done by Lowercase sigmabot III, and this notification was delivered by Muninnbot, both automated accounts. You can opt out of future notifications by placing {{bots|deny=Muninnbot}} here on your user talk page. Muninnbot (talk) 19:03, 27 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
