Your rollback request

Hi! I regret that I must inform you that your request for the rollback permission has been denied. You can discover why by checking the archives at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Denied/January 2009#E0steven. SoxBot X (talk) 02:00, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

Day after Day

It is their only Gold single. You can see for yourself on the RIAA database. Here is a link that proves this. I am going to change it again, and it is NOT vandalism as I have proof from the official RIAA site. Thank you --24.1.205.187 (talk) 21:57, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Rollback

I've granted the right. Kanonkas was right to give pause, but the quality of your reverts counts for more than your tenure here. Remember to review WP:RBK please or ask me for any help. Pedro :  Chat  20:03, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

I have replaced the edit with just the facts

I worded my original edit too strongly so I have come back with the 'Dragnet' version (just the facts.) And I even left out some facts that simply would have -seemed- disparaging (because of how lame Everlast is). It would be very unfair to remove my factual additions and leave other information that is in no way more or less accurate, informative, or encyclopedic. --216.17.75.89 (talk) 18:20, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Your use of an application to repeatedly undo my edits is causing me frustration. I urged you to not remove the factual information without entering into a discussion as to what about the facts you found objectionable. You failed to do this. Please explain why before removing the comments again or I will complain about you. --216.17.75.89 (talk) 18:22, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
I've reviewed your edit and undid my own reversion. I agree your first edits were not of the quality / NPOV required. You should see your new version as-is. However, I would still like some-sort of verification to your statements. When/where did he state that he should be attacked on sight? Could be gossip/rumor without any backing. Thanks e0steven(☎Talk|✍Contrib) 18:24, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

"So this is what we ask of our fans

If you ever see Everlast, WHOOP HIS ASS Hit him with sticks, bricks, rocks, throw shit at him Kick him, spit on him, treat him like a hoe, bitch-slap him Do it for me, do it for Fred, do it for Limp Do it for Rock, do it for rap, do it for Kid Do it for Ice-T, do it just to do it, fuck it He's a bitch, he ain't gon' hit you back, he's nothin! Shit in five years we'll all be "Eating at Whitey's" And he'll be bussin tables in that bitch, cleanin the toilets" --216.17.75.89 (talk) 18:26, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Not a problem. I saw your previous edit and reverted before checking to make sure it was a 'cleaned' up version. Please continue to make positive contributions to Wikipedia. I suggest you head over to The Sandbox where testing and tutorials can help you become a better editor! Banmetoo regarding vandalism of Daniel's page

It said vandal-proof, so I took it as a challenge. Immature I know. It seemed a win-win situation - either I'd have managed to beat the vandal-proof-ness or the edit would have been removed, as it was. So the question is, how did you do that so quickly? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Banmetoo (talkcontribs) 14:32, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

You shouldn't really take any vandal-proof listing as a challenge, however there are several tools for reverting vandalism quickly and efficiently. Hopefully you'll apply yourself to reverting vandalism instead of creating it! Tools like Huggle and Twinkle help with this process. e0steven(☎Talk|✍Contrib) 14:37, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

reverted edits on McVeigh page

Please don't revert the changes where paragraphs opening with 'he' have been changed to 'McVeigh'. Opening a non-fiction paragraph with 'he' is far too informal for something that purports to be an encyclopedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.109.132.221 (talk) 13:52, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

Please don't revert good faith edits as vandalism

You reverted my changes on Fusion Power as unconstructive. I could understand if you had problems with my formatting or phrasing, but the actual edit I made was to cite an academic paper, where an unattributed claim resided on the page. You did this under the guise of reverting unconstructive edits, which I don't feel my changes were anywhere near. Please either explain to me in more detail what you found unacceptable about the change or re-revert it. I know I'm editting from an anonymous IP address, but that's no reason to assume my changes are vandalism or poorly informed. 162.111.235.34 (talk) 15:10, 13 April 2011 (UTC)

The fact that you have had several edits in quick succession (you do not need to do this) with the top most edit being in an incomplete state. In general you should use the preview function and make a complete edit to a section or reference before saving. At the very least finish all of your edits before leaving for an extended period. I agree to some extent. However to someone unfamiliar with a bouillon cube an approximate size might be helpful.
