Speedy deletion nomination of User:E-TechBuy/sandbox
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on User:E-TechBuy/sandbox, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
- It appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free Web hosting service. (See section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 12:50, 7 May 2024 (UTC)

[edit]This is your only warning; if you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 12:52, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:
- Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
- Provide a new username.
To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.
Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Requested username:
Request reason:
- I am writing to request the unblocking of my account. I acknowledge the reasons for the block and understand that my previous username and certain contributions were not in accordance with Wikipedia's policies against promotion and advertising.
- I would like to clarify that I have not received any compensation for my contributions to Wikipedia. My intention was to contribute valuable information to the community, but I now realize that my approach was not appropriate.
- If unblocked, I commit to making contributions that are purely informational and adhere strictly to Wikipedia's guidelines. I plan to focus on areas where I can share my knowledge without any conflict of interest.
- I have chosen "TechInsighter" as my new username, which I believe complies with Wikipedia's username policy. This username does not represent any business or organization and is currently available.
- I assure you that I will not repeat the kind of edits that led to my block. I am eager to become a constructive member of the Wikipedia community and contribute in a manner that aligns with its values and policies.
- Thank you for considering my request.
- Best regards,
- [E-TechBuy] E-TechBuy 13:11, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
- Are you employed by or otherwise associated with E-TechBuy. Please read, understand, and comment upon WP:PAID before making a reply here. Might I suggest that an admin reviewing any unblock request takes any reply or lack thereof into consideration, coupled with the deleted sandbox, please. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 13:22, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
- If you work for E-TechBuy in any capacity, you are a paid editor, you do not need to be specifically paid to make edits. 331dot (talk) 14:25, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
- I assure you that I am not a paid editor, nor do I have any current ties to E-TechBuy. My previous employment was with Memory4less.com, which operates in the same sector. Recently, I was searching for a PIX-515E Cisco part and stumbled upon E-TechBuy. Out of curiosity, I browsed through their website and attempted to create an article, thinking it was permissible since the site was publicly accessible. I now realize this may have been a mistake. Could you guide me on how to remove the content I posted? I would like to ensure that I can contribute my thoughts and opinions in a proper and acceptable manner. E-TechBuy 17:29, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
- Your main consideration should be to convince an administrator to release the block. Using AI to create an unblock request is likely to be a difficult mistake to overcome. Please read and understand Wikipedia:Guide to appealing blocks.
- The draft you created? It's gone.
- Start from the ground up. We require references from significant coverage about the topic of the article, and independent of it, in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS please. See WP:42. Please also see WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources and WP:SELFPUB which has clear limitations on self published sources. Providing sufficient references, ideally one per fact referred to, that meet these tough criteria is likely to allow this article to remain. Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that the topic is not suitable for inclusion, certainly today.
- Reading and following the process outlined in this essay, one of many guides to creating articles, will assist you. However, do not do anything until you have appealed your block successfully. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 19:38, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
