A Responding to Comments

[edit]

Please note that due to the fact that I used a shared computer to access wikipedia, I might not be able to fully respond to comments left on this page for up to a few days (or weeks) at a time. Please bear with me, and I will try to reply to any issues as soon as possible. - Dreamweaverjack (talk) 10:08, 6 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Question on United Soccer Leagues page

[edit]

To answer your question about why most teams are league-owned in the US, it provides more stability to the league than having individual ownership. What you have to remember is that the MLS is pretty much a start-up league, rather than being established as the European leagues are. This is why there has only been two teams having went under in its history. If you take a look at the USL Premier Development League page, these teams are individually owned, and when you look at the team list there is obviously a lot more turnover, which isn't good for league stability. If you have any more questions or want to discuss this a bit more, feel free to hit up my talk page. Cheers! Mtndrums (talk) 06:20, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Jolly Giant, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Carlisle. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Ways to improve 1986–87 Highland Football League

[edit]

Hi, I'm Willsome429. Dreamweaverjack, thanks for creating 1986–87 Highland Football League!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Prose expansion and more refs, especially one for the results table, would do wonders for the page.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.
