Hello, Dragonpepperfly
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Goldsztajn, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, September 2023 Chinese military exercises around Taiwan, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.
If you wish to contest the deletion:
- Edit the page
- Remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- Click the button.
If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Goldsztajn}}
. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

[edit]Hi Dragonpepperfly! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Wikishovel (talk) 11:51, 28 February 2024 (UTC)
Issues with the Kerala hip hop page you created
[edit]Hi there, I just cleaned up your recent page creation of Kerala hip hop, and unfortunately I had to remove the majority of the content. I recommend that you review some of the intro resources for English Wikipedia, as there were major issues in this article which violate basic policies here.
The text was very promotional and non-neutral, and many of the references you provided did not actually have anything to do with the statements they were cited for. Much more serious was the copyright violation in which you directly copied a sentence from one of your references- I've fixed that, and you can see which text this was in my relevant edit summary.
Please consider using the Articles for Creation process for future drafts, as if I had not caught this it may have been proposed for deletion- it was really in no shape for the encyclopedia, and there's not much text left after removing the problems. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions, or visit the Wikipedia:Teahouse! Chiselinccc (talk) 02:42, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
- I have now had to revert you again, as you added a citation that had nothing to do with the statement you attached it to. I have now documented this on the article talk page, so it is transparent for other editors that we unfortunately need to check every addition made for accuracy.
- You cannot just paste in a source which mentions a name in passing without confirming the statement you're supposedly citing. Chiselinccc (talk) 06:00, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
