A tag has been placed on Katie nolan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Wikipedia:Katie Nolan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. I suggest that if you disagree with the deletion of the page, that you take it up with those who deleted it, or if that does not satisfy you, to visit the appropriate forum to express your opinion. 331dot (talk) 13:29, 12 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • I take that back, you have a draft here, but apparently you are more interested in complaining in various places than on actually improving and publishing that one. I'm not sure how you expect Wikipedia to accept an article about a person who is, by your own implicit admission, not notable enough to rate one. If she were truly notable and you were interested in putting in some minimal effort, that draft would already be an article. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 23:17, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Re: your question

[edit]

The article has been deleted because it fails to show that she passes WP:BIO (or possibly a specific policy for TV people - see WP:GNG to find if there is one). In addition, reliable independent sources WP:RS must be provided to prove the notability. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not a directory like LinkedIn or IMDb where there are fewer (if any) restrictions. Just being a TV presenter doesn't automatically make someone notable by our standards. Peridon (talk) 21:06, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree. Please note existing pages https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leah_Jenner & https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brandon_Jenner. She has more notability and notority than both those pages. This is lazy deletion and ruins the usefulness of wikipedia. A joke.
