- @Theroadislong
- Why did you decline it ?
- please answer.. Dishant Valmiki (talk) 13:34, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
- It tells you in the decline notice which you have since deleted inappropriately..."This draft's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article. In summary, the draft needs multiple published sources that are:
in-depth (not just passing mentions about the subject) reliable, secondary, independent of the subject Make sure you add references that meet these criteria before resubmitting. Learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue. If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia." Theroadislong (talk) 14:42, 21 January 2024 (UTC)

[edit]- @Theroadislong Hello Theroadislong I have added the references but it is again declined. Can you tell me why it is declined again, in depth. Dishant Valmiki (talk) 13:25, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
- It has not been declined again you have NOT submitted it for review, I merely replaced the previous decline which you had removed and please note Wikipedia cannot be used as a source, it is user edited so not reliable. Your draft therefore has no sources and cannot be accepted, sorry. Theroadislong (talk) 13:30, 25 January 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Theroadislong. I noticed that you recently removed content from Draft:Silver Statue Valmiki Temple without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please read WP:REF you are NOT referencing correctly Theroadislong (talk) 15:33, 25 January 2024 (UTC)

[edit]- @Theroadislong Hello Theroadislong Should I tell you the truth, I am a 13 year old and new to Wikipedia so can you teach me how to use references Dishant Valmiki (talk) 15:56, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
- As previously advised you need to read WP:REFB to understand referencing, and you should also read Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors. Theroadislong (talk) 16:10, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
- @Theroadislong Do you have Instagram ? Dishant Valmiki (talk) 15:57, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is not social media, whether or not I have an Instagram account is irrelevant, sorry. Theroadislong (talk) 16:10, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
Referencing
[edit]Please read WP:REFB for general advice on referencing, and WP:RS on reliable sources. Specifically, please note that Wikipedia is not considered a reliable source, and citing Wikipedia in Wikipedia articles create circular logic. You therefore mustn't cite Wikipedia as a source. If you wish to create links to other articles in the English-language Wikipedia, you do so by internal linking, see WP:WIKILINK, not by citing. Thank you. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:11, 22 July 2024 (UTC)
