Hey you
Long time no talk. I know Trish Stratus has yet to pass GA review, but how do you feel about giving the project the weeks notice on Melina Perez and putting her article up for GA nomination, as well? Do you have any suggestions for another article to work on? I've sourced Christy Hemme and Amy Dumas quite a bit, and I did the personal life section for Mickie James. I'm really open to anything, though. Nikki311 18:06, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
- Honestly, I don't have much interest in TNA articles either, because I don't watch it. I only came across Hemme's article when I was beginning to source WWE Diva and WWE Diva Search. I think WWE Diva needs a lot of work. I did all the sourcing that is presently there, but the history section needs to be greatly expanded. At the moment, though, I'm leaning towards Lita, but it's your choice because any would be fine with me. Nikki311 00:39, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
One thing before I make the announcement...several of the "dirt sites" are reporting that in Batista's new book, he reveals having a sexual relationship with Melina. Normally, I don't trust a thing they say, but you can't lie about the contents of a book, especially when you post the page number you got it from. Should this be added into the personal life section? Nikki311 18:18, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
- It's been a week. I've nominated Melina. Nikki311 20:24, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
I'll try and speedy delete the Diva list, and if that doesn't work...I'll nominate it for AfD. I haven't had a chance to look over Mickie James yet either, but I did find some really good book sources that I'll try and add after you move it back into mainspace. Oh yeah...Trish passed GA review. We sure are raking in the GAs! Nikki311 01:28, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
Thank you!
Hey, thanks for reverting my CM Punk edit back to what it was. That was a dumb mistake on my part, and I appreciate that you changed it back quickly. Thankfully, I learn from my mistakes! Josborne2382 04:51, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
Candice Michelle
I see you're reverting most of Jamielynn Cena's edits to Candice Michelle. However, the song "What is Love" is completely different from "What Love Is" and I believe on this topic, you are wrong and Jamielynn is right. HOWEVER. I will download both songs from Limewire and compare to find which of you is truely right. So, for now, please dont revert her edits until I get through the comparisons. Tyler Warren (talk/contribs) 00:18, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- Source is wrong. It's What Love Is. Every single title of her song I found on Limewire and websites says What Love Is. "What Is Love" is a song produced by Haddaway Tyler Warren (talk/contribs) 00:27, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

- Minor attack? It's a bloody comment. You know, you're almost as bad as when Bmg916 labelled my comment "Whatever, I'm done with you" as an attack, when it's clearly a bloody comment. Tyler Warren (talk/contribs) 03:17, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Reply from Hybrid
As far as Trish goes, it isn't a battle worth fighting. The Billion Dollar Bitch went by both names during that time, so if Aladdin wants to waste his time changing it from one to the other, then let him waste his own time, and don't worry about it. I'll pop on over to Candice's page and lay waste to the village and burninate the peasants to get to the truth, or just voice my opinion ;). Peace, The Hybrid T/C 05:11, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- That would be a close one, so it would probably be better to double team him. If I'm not on grab one of your friends and show him how it's done :). Cheers, The Hybrid T/C 05:31, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, don't lose any sleep over this one. The solution is quite simple; bore him to death. Cheers, The Hybrid T/C 05:41, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- From his most recent comment, it looks like he won't edit the page. Yeah, let's just bore him to death. No responses to any of his messages, alright? Cheers, The Hybrid T/C 05:44, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- Apparently his plan is to wikistalk and violate Meta:DICK. If he does the same thing to you, then report him to ANI. He's been blocked for harassment, incivility, and, surprise surprise, acting like a dick before.[1] Cheers, The Hybrid T/C 16:14, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Guess what
I don't know if you noticed or not, but User:Lex94 nominated Shelton Benjamin as a Featured Article. The nom page is here. I'm not sure exactly how I feel about this, but if it passes, we both have a FA on our resumes. We did all the work. Nikki311 23:55, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
- You're right about the lead. I'll fix that later tonight if I get a chance. For some reason, I thought you had done that part of the sourcing (in regards to BMG's contribution). Nikki311 00:16, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
- Interesting. Anyway, thanks for the help on WWE Diva Search. I've reported the user for violating WP:3RR. The discussion is HERE. I've hit three reverts and so have you, so hopefully they fix this before she/he reverts again....I don't want to be tempted to violate it, too. Nikki311 00:42, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
re: Melina move
I've never seen it with an accent either. If her own official website doesn't even have it, then I think it is safe to assume she doesn't. Leave a note on his talk page and move it back. I'd do it, but he's probably tired of me. We've had a few disagreements lately. Also tell him he should discuss moves on the talk page first, especially when he doesn't have a reliable source to back it up. Nikki311 01:20, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
- I am a native speaker of Spanish, and Perez does have an accent. There is no proof beyond the Spanish grammatical rules:
1. Here's a good tutorial site where you can see the acentuation rules in Spanish:[2]
- Pérez falls under Grave, and because it does not end with a vowel, n, or s, it has to be acentuated.
2. Pérez Lex94 Talk Contributions Signatures 01:45, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
- But if Melina doesn't spell it with an accent, we can't say she's wrong. I think it's retarded that Adam Jones calls himself Pacman Jones, but I am not trying to get his article moved. The same thing applies here, she doesn't use the accent and neither should we. TJ Spyke 02:08, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
- I see that on her myspace, she has absoulutely NO comprehension of grammatical and ortographical rules, so you can't just assume that she prefers her name without the "`" on the E. It could be she just hates needing to type ALT+130, to make a é. But still, even if she says her name is Perez, it still doesn't change the fact that it is really Pérez Lex94 Talk Contributions Signatures 02:21, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
- Uh-huh, next time you see her in person be free to tell here she spells her own name wrong. It may bug you, but she does not use any accent in her name and it would be incorrect for us to put one in her name (I just got Lilian Garcia's article moved to the correct name after showing that she doesn't use one in her name either). Just by following Wikipedia guidelines, her article is at the correct spot (without the accent). TJ Spyke 02:29, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
- Could we move this conversation to the article talk page please? I want people to use my talk page to talk to me, not each other. Also, more opinions could be added if the topic was taken there. - Deep Shadow 02:33, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

trish
I removed it from the article as it was dirt sheet info compiled by others, if you actually read the whole page you would know that. Where as the 2 citations behind dave's name are actual interviews with Trish.Aladdin Zane 04:36, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
- Just because you used it, and someone else didn't challenge it. Does not mean it isn't basically a dirt sheet. The section itself tells you it was basically just info compiled by those 2 people. Not directly from Trish.Aladdin Zane 11:35, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

Sorry if this is stupid (which it is), but would you like to sign my guestbook? :-P --PolarWolf ( grrr... ) 02:34, 31 October 2007 (UTC)- Crap, sorry about that, didn't see the "do not ask me to sign guestbooks" sign. Forget about the last request. --PolarWolf ( grrr... ) 02:40, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for understanding- I can get why some people just don't like signing. Like you said at the top of your talk page, it makes some feel obligated to sign. --PolarWolf ( grrr... ) 04:28, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

Please explain edit(s) made on article.
Can you please explain to me why you removed the future edit? If it was beacuse of the fact that the event ouccurs in the future then I understand.
But an explination would really help me understand better. Please Reply Back —Preceding unsigned comment added by Windowsknowitall (talk • contribs) 10:33, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
I'm almost done with Lita's article. I'm trying to avoid using Online World of Wrestling and Pro Wrestling History as much as possible. Look it over and let me know if there is anything I should add a source to or any other things that might need improving. Nikki311 20:02, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- I addressed all the issues you pointed out in Lita's article. I did have to resort to Online World of Wrestling for a couple of minor storyline things, but not very much, so I think it's okay. Anyway, I'll do a review of Mickie James' article either later tonight or at some point tomorrow. I also have some books sources to add to James' article, and I'll probably do either right before or right after I review it. Nikki311 20:16, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
Mickie James review
Lead
The lead should be cited, even if it is just moving citations from the prose into the lead, as well. I can't remember which Good Article it was, but one of the ones I did without you...the reviewer mentioned that. Specifically, the last paragraph could use a cite or two.The info about her being the only female to be involved in a Clockwork House of Fun match should also be cited in the lead.
Early career
Cite the info about working in a bar.
2005–2006
I don't know if you know or not, but does the citation for the WrestleMania 22 match mention the fans booing Stratus and cheering for James? If not, that could use a cite. If you didn't add that citation, it might be best to find another one just to verify the info.
In wrestling
Some of the move names need citations. I looked on WWE.com but couldn't find the "Mick Kick Combo" so that might be fan-made, "Goodnight Kiss" is a new name but was apparently mentioned in an interview somewhere (as per James' talk page), and "Laree DDT II" also needs a cite. Her first two themes could be cited, but I don't think it would be terribly tragic if they weren't.
Overall, the article is of very good quality and there is little to change. It was a very good read and the "out-of-universe" style of writing is very well integrated into the article, so hopefully, some newbie won't try and change it. After Melina passes, we should definitely nominate these two articles....very much like a tag team. :) Nikki311 01:27, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
- Also, I added the few book sources I could find. Nikki311 01:28, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
Naha left the following on my talk page in regards to Mickie James' article:
- I gave the article a quick run through and did some minor copyediting. Two random things that you might want to look into:
- I know Mickie is from Montpelier, Virginia, and attended "Patrick Henry High School." What I am wondering is if Patrick Henry High School (Roanoke, Virginia) is the one she attended or not? Given that there are so many Patrick Henry High Schools listed at Wikipedia, it might not be. However, given that Montpelier is so small ("a small unincorporated town" according to its Wikipedia article), might she have attended high school in a bigger city like this? The only reason I even ask is that it would be nice to link to the school's article if this was in fact the right one.
- The other thing is that I read somewhere, and now for the life of me I can't remember where (sorry :( ), that she and Kenny had recently broken up. Since their engagement is mentioned in the article it might be worth trying to find out the current status of their relationship if possible.
- I know these are random suggestions but anyway ..great work on the article, and all the diva ones you guys have worked on ..they all read so well! --Naha|(talk) 16:17, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
After we fix that, I guess we could go ahead and give the project the one week notice. What do you think? Nikki311 17:15, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
- One more thing....Shelton Benjamin was promoted to Featured Article status (the bot hasn't updated it yet, but it is in the FA log). Congratulations! Nikki311 17:52, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
I made the announcement. Nikki311 14:48, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
- I'm going to start working on Torrie Wilson in my sandbox. Let me know if you are going to do an article, so I can be on the lookout for good sources for the both of us. Then we can do a tag team review and nomination again. :) Nikki311 04:25, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
