RE: Our next project

[edit]

I had a feeling you would pick Victoria! I'd love to see both Victoria and Torrie Wilson's articles as GAs. We could definitely then work on Vince's Devils. We might even attempt to do a Featured Topic at some point, but I think the articles have to all be (or mostly be) at Featured status for that to happen. You know, if we keep going at the speed we're going at, we're going to run out of Divas. :) Nikki311 02:56, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey. The week is up if you want to go ahead and add Mickie James to the nominees list. Also, Melina Perez was reviewed, and there is a list of things to fix on the talk page, if you want to help me bulldoze through all of that. Nikki311 14:31, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Mickie in Legshow: Basically, that is what I meant. Plus, if somebody wanted to, they could do a google images search to verify. I doubt she'll ever do an interview and be like "Yeah. I posed nude in a raunchy classless magazine"....so that'll have to suffice. At one point I even added <ref>{{cite magazine|title=Legshow|date=whatever the date was}}</ref> but clearly it was removed, I'm not sure by who, but the info is all over the net, so it clearly is true. Another Diva

[edit]

Thanks! I don't know if you noticed or not, but I moved Torrie Wilson into mainspace awhile back. I noticed you did the same with Lisa Marie Varon. I have a book that might have some sources I can add to Victoria's article, but that'll have to wait until my semester ends in a little less than two weeks. I'm not going to be able to look over the article, give constructive criticism, or respond to any review you may do until then, either. Later. Nikki311 02:30, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Awesome. Thanks. Nikki311 03:23, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey again. Sorry about taking more than a month to get my act together! I've been busy with school, real life, and admin stuff. I've looked over Victoria's article and fixed a few things, but nothing major jumps out at me as needing to be fixed. After you look over Wilson's article, let's go ahead and give our GA announcement to the project. There's a huge backlog at WP:GAC under the sports section, so I think we should go ahead and list them asap, before another 40 articles are listed before them. In other news, I'm working on Dawn Marie Psaltis in my sandbox because I found a lot of good sources for her when I was researching Wilson. Nikki311 03:37, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cool. I made the corrections in Wilson's article, and I removed the favorite TV shows from Varon's personal life section. I think the article can do without that trivia. I'll go ahead and make the announcement. Nikki311 04:20, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've nominated both articles because the week is up. Now all we have to do is wait the 2 months it'll take to get them reviewed. :) Nikki311 04:09, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think it could go either way. Doing only present Divas would be easier, obviously, because there is less of them. Another option is to do all former WWE Women's Champions. Then we could use the List of WWE Women's Champions as the main article that links to all the others (like List of current champions in WWE), and it's already featured, so that would make our job easier. Whatever we decide, I'm pretty sure at least 2/3 of the articles have to be featured, and the rest have to be good articles. Maybe we should start small...and do a Vince's Devils FT, which I think you've mentioned before. After Varon and Wilson pass GA, we can work on them some more and try and nominate them as FAs. Nikki311 05:41, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations to you, as well! Victoria has also passed GA review. Nikki311 22:54, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know if you are planning to work on another article soon or not, but I'm going to start working on Stacy Keibler. I just wanted to let you know, so we don't work on the same one. Nikki311 19:29, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Ashley Massaro

[edit]

Thank for the compliment. And I do agree we have much in common. My point was that she is always announced to the ring as simply "Ashley" and the nameplate that appears in front of her says the same. I think the option you listed is a great one, and I have no problems with it. :) Another option to consider is to leave "Ashley Massaro" in the infobox box under ring names, but only bold "Ashley." That may be violation of WP:MOS, though I can't be sure of that. Gavyn Sykes (talk) 22:01, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That edit is enough for me to throw out the second idea. Your original idea sounds fine. So your original idea sounds fine for this situation. :) Gavyn Sykes (talk) 15:09, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, any time. :) The last thing I want to do is edit war. Gavyn Sykes (talk) 15:22, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, when you updated this article's rating after its GA review, you deleted the comments from your review. I am concerned about how this would look to some people, as it currently appears that the article passed a GA review without any comment. Would you be able to add your comments back in regard to why the article should qualify as a GA? Thanks, GaryColemanFan (talk) 17:57, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I had a feeling that it was unintentional. I know that you have high standards on Wikipedia, but I wanted to make sure nobody else complained down the road that it was passed without a proper review. GaryColemanFan (talk) 00:16, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've finished with Stacy Keibler, if you want to look it over when you have time. It might be a little longer than usual before I add it to WP:GAC as I have a million other projects I'm working on...so no rush. Nikki311 01:06, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lisa Marie Varon was just nominated as a Featured Article candidate. Why does that keep happening to us?!?! I think we should let it play out at first to see if we can get some comments on how to improve the article, but if a couple people start opposing, we should get whoever nominated it to withdraw the nom. Thoughts?!? Nikki311 03:56, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That was fast! Good detective work. I hope that sockpuppet didn't think that our article was so bad that nominating it was disruptive. :( Nah. Who am I kidding? We do do the best work around here. We should think of a tag team name like the The Kilq editing stable. Ya know...so we can be cool like they are. ;) Nikki311 04:47, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the review. I probably won't be able to get to it until Wednesday because of real-life stuff, and I promised to help some other people with their articles first. Anyway, I think we should be The Hooliganz...I think that sounds bad-ass. Too bad there aren't any good intergender tag teams whose name we could use. :) Nikki311 23:54, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey!

[edit]

Hey there. I apologize for restoring the information at User talk:BWneeds a life. I didn't realize there was a policy against it. I reverted it originally because a short while ago, a user was constantly vandalizing, and he removed every warning he was given. When he was blocked, he questioned the block stating he never received a warning, which he did, he just removed them. (So I was confused). iMatthew 2008 13:35, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, are you good at pre-GA reviews? I'd like somebody to give Matt Hardy are pre-GA review before I nominate it for GA. Is there any chance you can do this for me? iMatthew 2008 13:49, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough. Cheers! iMatthew 2008 14:25, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Candice Michelle under GA review

[edit]

Hi there, I see that you are a primary contributor to the article Candice Michelle. This article has come under review for Good article reassessment as part of GA Sweeps and problem has been identified and listed on the talk page. Please begin to address this point in the next seven days or the article will be delisted from GA and will have to go through the GAN process all over again to regain its status once improvements have been made. If you have any questions, please drop me a line.--Jackyd101 (talk) 17:19, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
