Hi David,
I reverted a few of your changes to Ngarnka language. It appears we may have a mess on our hands that involves Wambaya language and West Barkly languages as well as Ngarnka.
First, are you confident that Gudanji is a separate language? All three of those articles will need to be updated if it is. (And Ngarnka is currently listed as a dialect of Wambaya as well.) Also, even if they're distinct, it would appear that the Glottolog code for Gudanji is also meant to cover Ngarnka, so it should stay in the info box (though with a clarification). Changing that will probably require writing to Glottolog and having them create a new code for Ngarnka.
Also, you classified it as "Ngurlun" but didn't link to anything that would explain what that is. Is it another name for West Barkly?
Thanks for your improvements to the article, and hopefully we can get all three sorted out. — kwami (talk) 05:18, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
- I cleaned up Mirdi, West Barkly and Wambaya per Harvey. We still need to note that the ISO and Glotto codes for Gurdanji covers Ngarnka, though. — kwami (talk) 03:31, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
