Changes reverted
Hi,
You recently reverted the changes I made with the note:
"If you want to add guest stars to the list, expand the summaries and add their names in ()"
I don't understand why you ask for this, because that's exactly what I did, I added another line of text where I put the names of the guest stars.
About the changes I made: 1) All the names of the guest stars are accurate. 2) I follow the layout of previous chapter entries. I place an asterisc at the begining of the line and the caption "Guest stars". 3) I didn't erase previous names, just added the missing ones.
This is frustrating for me because You simply erase my work. I tried to make a little contribution to this project but with your actions I won't do them no more.
It is curious how you claim to be an anti-vandalism patroll and that is what you did to my work.
Pistor62 (talk) 22:58, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
- First off, I apologize and completely understand that this has been frustrating for you, but I have not treated any of your edits as vandalism, so please do not mistake my reverts as such.
- Second, what I mean by "expand the summaries" is "expand the description of the episode plot and add the guest stars' name with their characters." Take a look at "Scorched Earth," for example:
- "The detectives of the Special Victims Unit are called to the scene when a hotel maid (Anika Noni Rose) reports being assaulted by Italian diplomat Robert Distasio (Franco Nero). Bureau Chief Mike Cutter (Linus Roache) and Assistant District Attorney Alex Cabot (Stephanie March) prosecute the high-profile case, which quickly grows more complicated as the maid's credibility is publicly questioned. Detective Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish) joins the Manhattan SVU from Atlanta, while Detective Benson struggles to cope with the fall-out from the shooting in the precinct."
- Notice that the guest stars' names are in parenthesis next to the characters that they portray? Even though the episode has more guest stars (including Ron Rifkin, I believe), listing them all is irrelevant because some of them only have small parts, and many episodes have a large amount of guest stars to begin with. I hope this clarifies your confusion. Ignore the format that you see on other pages. Davejohnsan (talk) 23:08, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
SVU prod. codes.
Well, Davejohnsan there really is a lot to confirm production codes, in the Law & Order franchise anyway.
The title cards partially give away which episodes are produced before or after others. Mostly this is the case for episodes of Law & Order: CI.
But as for SVU: "Scorched Earth" and "Blood Brothers", filming began July 18th 2011 right (http://www.usmagazine.com/moviestvmusic/news/jennifer-love-hewitt-no-longer-a-contender-for-law-and-order-svu-role-2011136). Candids/shots of Danny Pino & Mariska filming "Blood Brothers" were released (http://www.nypost.com/p/entertainment/tv/warm_welcome_DEE1rjX4WQvuqjYRu6Qt3M) BEFORE anything from "Scorched Earth" which was filmed in August. Warren Leight even was tweeting that they rearragined episode(s) filming.
Key piece that puts "Scorched Earth"'s prod. code at 13003 is Warren Leight mentions they were still filming the episode close to the season premiere's airdate (and filming had started in July). - http://www.nypost.com/p/entertainment/tv/kept_rewriting_dsk_episode_s0aZfeJWEMZCz7DPNHI4yM
Plus you can tell by Ice-T's (and even Mariska's) hair in "Blood Brothers" vs. "Scorched Earth". He had more hair in the premiere episode than the third episode in, and it was seen in the 4th episode ("Double Strands") that it mysterically grew back.
The only source you really have for the TRUE prod. code's are Warren Leight (@warrenleightTV) and the writing team/casting staff. Jonathan Strauss (@JSCasting) is another person. All you have to do is keep up, I'm going to try and search through Leight's tweets to see which one he said that "Blood Brothers" was filmed first.
And sometimes when TV Guide or whomever notes someone will be cast in an upcoming episode, they'll mention when the ep. will begin filming and then you can really go from there.
I'll let you know when I find WL's tweet's link!--SVU4671 (talk) 04:36, 22 April 2012 (UTC)
- That won't be necessary; you've already convinced me more than enough that I've been incorrect the entire time. Thank you for all this info. Davejohnsan (talk) 05:36, 22 April 2012 (UTC)

Hi. When you recently edited Everybody's Favorite Bagman, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John Patterson (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

- No problem, but the actual issue is that Netflix has tried to revive several other canceled TV shows before, but so far only one has actually been brought back. As much as I love to see this announcement, right now it still falls under WP:CRYSTAL. Davejohnsan (talk) 02:24, 3 May 2012 (UTC)

- I keep trying to make positive & credible edits to it, and some guy - Chip123456 - keeps citing to keep the page a redirect, even though there is WAY more [credible] info on the page than prior to it's redirect.--SVU4671 (talk) 17:33, 20 May 2012 (UTC)
- I think I understand why he is redirecting your article, but he has an extremely poor argument. The article definitely has room for improvement (for example, too many primary sources), but in my opinion it has enough content to merit its own article. From what I can see, you have done plenty to try to reach out him so that you two can discuss this, but if he keeps reverting, I would not hesitate to go to WP:3RRN or WP:RPP. Re: Donald Cragen
I've gone ahead and moved the Cragen info from my user space into the main page, and expanded the lede section. I had hoped to work that article up to GA status. I don't think it's quite there yet, but I think it's close. Let me know if you have any thoughts. — Hunter Kahn 03:29, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
- I think the only thing the article needs is some proofreading before it is ready for a GA nomination. As much as I'd love to help, I won't have any time this week between finals, graduation, and other stuff. You did a great job with the article! Davejohnsan (talk) 21:14, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
- I wasn't looking for help, just feedback, so don't worry. :) The SVU section is still unsourced and there are a few other sources I'd like to review to possibly add content before I nominate it for GA, but I agree, it's close. Thanks again! — Hunter Kahn 22:21, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
- Oh, good, that means one thing I won't have to worry about. I still would like to help with proofreading, but since you're much better at finding sources for these articles, I'm more than happy to leave the article expansion to you. Davejohnsan (talk) 23:15, 23 May 2012 (UTC)

Unsourced birthyear
Hi dude, I just wanted to tell you why did you removed the birth year of Victor Vance? It was on every GTA Wiki. Let me know if you have any contradicting evidence. gtajaxoxo ©® 13:51, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
- I removed it because there's no official source to confirm the birth years. Other wikis don't count as reliable sources, anyway. If a character reveals his/her age or birth year (in)directly during an in-game mission, that's one thing; but most, if not all, of those birth years appeared to have been made up on the spot. Davejohnsan (talk) 14:23, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
- I agree with most of those things, but Tommy Vercetti said in-game that he was 35 years old by 1986, and he was 20 by the Harwood Massacre. So, that makes him born in 1951, also Kent Paul said in one mission (but I don't know what) that he moved to the US in 1984 when he was 17, so that makes him 1967. And I noted that Avery Carrington doesn't have the killed in 1998 parenthesis, even though he was killed in GTA: Liberty City Stories (which was set in 1998, according to the game, which says it was set three years before GTA III). Anyway, thanks for reminding me that, as most characters don't have much released biographies released by Rockstar Games, and many wikis and GTA Fan Sites yet do that. Sorry about that. gtajaxoxo ©® 15:19, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
- That works fine, as well. My main concern is that IP editors (and registered ones, too, I suppose) have made up birth years or have been trying to ascertain them based on original research. Davejohnsan (talk) 15:53, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, some of them do original research. There were too many unsourced sentences there. gtajaxoxo ©® 02:35, 1 July 2012 (UTC)

Awake copy-edit
Thanks for your copy-edit at Awake (TV series) for "Series overview". However, I have just re-wrote the paragraph. I would be appreciative it if you could copy-edit this new version. Thanks, TBrandley 23:25, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
- Sure, I'll take a look within the next hour or so. Davejohnsan (talk) 23:27, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
- Do you think Awake (TV series) is ready for FAC yet? TBrandley 23:56, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
- Not quite. It's a very extensive article, but I still think it needs one more wave of copyediting (pronouns and verb tense, mostly) before it's ready for submission. Davejohnsan (talk) 23:57, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
- Is there any section, or anything, that needs fixing in particular? Thanks, TBrandley 00:00, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- I'd take a look at "Series overview" and "Character and story arcs" first. In the latter section, I see a few choppy sentences (See the second sentence of the "Recurring characters" subsection, for example) and some inconsistencies in verb tense (e.g. In the second paragraph of "Main characters" the past tense is erroneously used in the sentence about Vega). I'll be happy to give this article an extensive lookover later tonight. Whatever I'm unsure about I'll be sure to let you know. Davejohnsan (talk) 00:10, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- If you could give this article an extensive lookover, that would be great! I also try to look at it. Thanks, TBrandley 00:20, 10 July 2012 (UTC)

- No problem. There is no reason to be sorry. It's just one day, or even less :) I'm in the same time zone as you. TBrandley 04:38, 10 July 2012 (UTC)

- I'm dozing off, so I'll pick this up tomorrow afternoon. I'll try to make some of these changes myself, as well, since I'll be fully caffeinated by then. :) Davejohnsan (talk) 05:55, 10 July 2012 (UTC)

By the way, as I mentioned in my review below, since you have the most significant contributions, you have the implicit right to handle, reject, modify etc. any suggestion or I revision I make as you see fit. I'm not really handling this with a specific plan in mind, so if there's a different way that you were hoping I could help you with this, let me know. I'm mostly going to help with copyediting, so I'll try not to step outside my bounds. Davejohnsan (talk) 16:15, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
Do you think we should open one last PR for this article before we submit for FAC? Davejohnsan (talk) 17:19, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
- Isn't it already at PR. It is at: Wikipedia:Peer review/Awake (TV series)/archive3. TBrandley 17:22, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
- Oh, I see. Someone recommended a copyedit before you nominate the article. Davejohnsan (talk) 17:26, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
- This is the copy-edit. But, that PR could deal with more comments. TBrandley 17:33, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, it seems like it stopped suddenly. But this copyediting should be done by tonight (I didn't realize it would take this long) in case you want to try to get any more last minute comments. Davejohnsan (talk) 17:35, 11 July 2012 (UTC)

Okay, for the most part I am done. However, I would suggest waiting one more day before submitting your nomination in case we missed anything. I hope I've helped. I wish I could have thoroughly reviewed the entire article, but it's a little too strenuous for me. Davejohnsan (talk) 17:03, 12 July 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for your big copy-edit. Do you now think it is ready for FAC? Some statements have more than one ref., do you think there are too many refs. on some statements. Again, do you think it is ready? Thanks again! TBrandley 03:34, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
- Well, I was a little puzzled by the same ref being used repeatedly in the series overview. Did you do that? Davejohnsan (talk) 03:41, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, because it is all in that episode(s). But, for other sources, is it too much. Most of the "Series overview" is featured in "Pilot" episode, as it introduces the main characters and concept of the episode. Possibly, maybe, Characters could be merged with "Series overview" per Ed, Edd, n Eddy, which has just became an FA. TBrandley 03:48, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
- Your call, man. I'm reluctant to give a definite answer as to whether I think the article is ready for nomination, however. This will be my first time being involved in one, so I don't know what to expect other than a bunch of strict criteria. Davejohnsan (talk) 03:52, 13 July 2012 (UTC)

Review
Note to FAC reviewers: Most of these changes were made as a result of this copyedit. Davejohnsan (talk) 04:37, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
Infobox
- You have a lot of genres listed in the infobox. I would consider simplifying this. For example, you have supernatural drama and drama itself listed. Get rid of one of those. Same thing with police procedural and mystery, since police procedurals tend to be full of mysteries. Also, fantasy seems like a bit of stretch here.
- Done
Lead
- I would consider revising the first two paragraphs to mirror the first two of The Simpsons. You'll notice on that article that the first paragraph mentions the setting of the show, and the second mentions the conception. (Please fix this first before addressing the other points, if you don't mind).
- Partly done. I removed the "The series is set and filmed in Los Angeles" because it can be seen above, right. But, I don't think I need to rewrite the full paragraph. If you are sure I should, please let me know. I got this lead from House (TV series), which is an FA.
- That's fine. We're trying to mimic other featured articles, but not any specific one. You've made the most significant contributions to the article, so you've earned the right to disagree with any changes or suggestions I make. Davejohnsan (talk) 16:05, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- One small change to remove the redundant mention that Britten is the main character. Davejohnsan (talk) 16:21, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- Partly done. I removed the "The series is set and filmed in Los Angeles" because it can be seen above, right. But, I don't think I need to rewrite the full paragraph. If you are sure I should, please let me know. I got this lead from House (TV series), which is an FA.
- "Jeffrey Reiner and Howard Gordon, then continued with Killen, under his Teakwood Lane Productions label." The comma after Gordon's name is unnecessary. Also, under whose label did the Teakwood Yadda Yadda label continue? The sentence mentions three males, so using "him" is ambiguous here.

- "Awake is an American television [...] drama that originally aired [...] for one season from March 1 to May 24, 2012." The underlined section ("for one season") seems like an extraneous detail for that sentence. I'd remove it, though I don't see the harm in keeping it. Davejohnsan (talk) 16:08, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- Not done. Per your comment. Will this effect FA for this article? TBrandley 16:19, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- I don't think it will affect FA, to be honest. I was going to remove it myself, but I wasn't too sure. Let's just keep it in there. Davejohnsan (talk) 16:23, 10 July 2012 (UTC)

- "At work, Michael often clashes with his team." I think we should find a way of rewording this sentence so that people can understand why he clashes, maybe something like "... often clashes with his team due to his seemingly erratic behaviour" or something. Maybe mention that his coworkers do not know about his uncanny ability to solve crimes due to his split world. Davejohnsan (talk) 04:26, 11 July 2012 (UTC)

Production
- Several sentences throughout this section are written in the present tense, e.g. "Gordon and Killen serve as executive producers along with." Should they be changed to past tense given that the show has ceased production? Davejohnsan (talk) 16:32, 10 July 2012 (UTC)

- Under Casting: "Killen thought that the premise behind the series would be relatable to audiences, making it easier to broader his fanbase." I thought "broader" was an adjective. Does "expand" work? Davejohnsan (talk) 16:58, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- Done. Yeah, I probably would. TBrandley 04:03, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
- Under the Writing section (though this applies to other ones, as well), I noticed an inconsistency in the placement of quotes. The only thing is, I'm not sure which style is used in America. "Test". or "Test." ?? Davejohnsan (talk) 17:08, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- I have placed that in the WP:HD page. Thanks for noting. TBrandley 04:06, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
- WP:MOS states that "On Wikipedia, place all punctuation marks inside the quotation marks if they are part of the quoted material and outside if they are not." Where are the issues? I, or you, can fix them. Thanks, TBrandley 04:47, 11 July 2012 (UTC)

Series overview
- I'm having trouble with this sentence: "While working on different cases in both realities, Michael starts to realize that things can transfer from reality to reality, they help him with case in each reality, and they cross over." First off, it's a runon. Secondly, the wording is just plain confusing. I'll try to come up with something unless you beat me to it. Davejohnsan (talk) 17:13, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- Done. I think. I may have not used correct wording, but, you should be able to understand it now. Thanks for noting. TBrandley 04:11, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
- The last three sentences of paragraph two need quite a few revisions. Firstly, I'm not sure that the past tense is appropriate in "He was "dreaming while he was dreaming", and Hannah had told Michael to give her "one last kiss good bye"." given that fiction is almost always treated in the present.
- Done
- Also, for clarity on the sentence "Dr. Evans claims that Michael realizes that the "green reality" is life." What exactly leads Dr Evans to this conclusion? From the dream mentioned in the preceding statement? Davejohnsan (talk) 17:22, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- Done
- Lastly, "However, soon after, Michael saw both of them together." Who are these two people? Davejohnsan (talk) 17:22, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- Done
- "Michael does not understand what "they" means.[1]" I think you'll immediately understand why this makes me cringe. Also, it's a little bit ambiguous. Davejohnsan (talk) 04:58, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
- Done. It might not be exactly perfect, though. TBrandley 16:06, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
- No, I'm afraid it still needs work. First off, "whose" is the possessive form ("Whose purse is this?") and secondly it should be written in the present tense, since this conversation happens during the course of an en episode. Also, it might help to clarify who asks for protection. Davejohnsan (talk) 17:01, 11 July 2012 (UTC)

Characters and story arcs
- Don't the two subsections seem a bit redundant, especially under the Series overview section? Davejohnsan (talk) 05:03, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
- I don't think it should be removed, but, if there is a way to have separate/different information in each section. On House (TV series), which is an FA, has those two sections. Thanks for noting. TBrandley 06:10, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
- Let's work on that, then, because the way I see this section is essentially a regurgitation of the previous one. Davejohnsan (talk) 16:59, 11 July 2012 (UTC)

Talkback
Hello. You have a new message at 108.41.249.55's talk page. Message added 15:36, 17 July 2012 (UTC). it was on tv. but i did on the external links. the show did end on Spike. I saw the commerical on tv saying it was the series finale event.
- Until there is a reliable source confirming the cancellation of the series, I will revert any changes of this nature per Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. I have checked Spike's website and several online news articles, but I can't find anything on this. Show some proof; it's really that simple. Davejohnsan (talk) 02:28, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
Hi
I know I have asked a lot from you lately, but, could you help me with some paraphrasing on Awake (TV series). Thanks so much. I can review/do something for you too. TBrandley 16:39, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
- I don't know if I'll have time any time to help this week. Sorry. Davejohnsan (talk) 02:33, 18 July 2012 (UTC)

I was wondering if you could copy-edit "The Little Guy", the GAN review said he will not review until it has been copy-edited. Thanks, TBrandley 15:07, 16 July 2012 (UTC)

- The only thing is, I might need help trimming the plot. It would be of great help if you could do that for me. Aside from the issues with the plot, the production section is in serious need of expansion. Try to squeeze out some more information from the IGN source, and if possible try to find a few other sources as well. Let's take advantage of the seven-day hold. See if this article helps you get an idea of how to write the plot at an ideal length. Davejohnsan (talk) 15:30, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
- Awake doesn't really have much production information (aside from "Pilot" and "Turtles All the Way Down") because there is not DVD commentary, etc., as a short-lived series. I've been looked for quite some time now, however. TBrandley 16:08, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
- Actually, I have more. The new reviewer has requested a copy-edit for the "Themes" and "Reception" section. If you could help, I'd appreciate it. Thanks! TBrandley 18:32, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
- I'll see if I can get to it today. Davejohnsan (talk) 19:14, 23 July 2012 (UTC)

Hi
Hi Dave. I was wondering also, why 97.86.27.5 kept wanting to put that episode title into the list. I googled what he was putting in, and it came back with a number of hits including http://www.tv.com/shows/hawaii-five-0/la-o-na-makuahine-2514271/. A couple of others showed that the term means mother's day. I did not include it because I am not sure exactly if that is the best source for this addition. We used to have the same problem with the episode articles and episode lists at WP:LOST, when we were waiting for the official names to drop. I do see the hidden comment in the section, but is hard to read if one doesn't know about such things (such as the occasional editor or an IP). Just my rationale and two cents. Take care. Kindly Calmer Waters 18:27, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
- For episode titles, TV.com does not qualify as a reliable source. Zap2It does not have a confirmed title for the premiere and neither does the Futon Critic; however, if another reliable source can confirm the title, then please feel free to use it. As for the IP editor, he or she has received several warnings not to add unsourced titles, but seems to have disregarded every one. Though I doubt it will make a difference, I will make the hidden note more prominent. Davejohnsan (talk) 18:32, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
- I did not see my declined report until now, but I would like to point out that this does not exactly qualify as a content dispute. The IP in question has repeatedly added episodes without any sources, and today tried to use a source from the second episode for the first episode. I hope you will reconsider blocking him. This IP editor has been engaged in this behavior since July 11, and it's getting old. Davejohnsan (talk) 21:48, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
- Went to look at the IPs edits and see they have already been blocked. They really are persistent, going to the lengths of changing the hidden comments. Yes, you are right, they are being quite disruptive. Maybe I AGF a little too much sometimes. If they return to the same editing style without discussion, then blocks in longer duration may be the unfortunate solution. Calmer Waters 05:15, 31 July 2012 (UTC)

There are no qualifications needed. I'd be willing to help you with an article also. Right now, I'm assuming it is a Law & Order article. TBrandley 15:29, 31 July 2012 (UTC)

Homeopathy
Hi Dave
I have just created an account so am new to all this. I made an edit on the above page because the writer expressed a personal view that homeopathy is 'widely viewed as quackery'. Given that there are millions of users worldwide, that it is part of the NHS and in my experience it is common to find GPs who use homeopathy in their practice, I think the statement made in the article is erroneous and inappropriate.
As I said I am not familiar with writing for Wikipedia. Are you the writer of this article? If you are it is very biased and insulting to the millions of people who benefit from homeopathy and I would like your rationale for such a statement.
Thanks

- No, I am not the author of the article; however, the reason I reverted your edit is that you removed that portion of content without providing any explanation. The edit summary field, although not mandatory, should be used in cases such as this one to avoid having your edit mistaken as vandalism. Since I am not very familiar with the subject at hand, I will take a hands off approach here: If you remove it again, I won't revert your change; however, you do need to provide an explanation in the edit summary regardless. However, I think it would be better to open a discussion on the article's talk page to get a second opinion on this. Good luck, Davejohnsan (talk) 19:47, 1 August 2012 (UTC)
Thanks very much Dave for your speedy and helpful response. I am finding the site a bit confusing but your comments have been helpful although I'm still trying to find the discussion page particular to the article. In my opinion Dave the whole article is biased and outdated. I want to write a new article entitled Homeopathy in the 21st Century which will include the latest evidence including successful projects around the world and current practices which are not the same as they were 200 years ago! Would this be accepted do you think? You seem quite savvy about wiki so I thought I'd ask. I imagine you may suggest that I edit the original article but it needs so much editing I would say let's start anew with a fresh approach instead of the same old rehash. I welcome your thoughts.
Good wishes

- Don't let it stress you out. Anything new will be confusing at first; after awhile, you get the hang of it. But anyway... At the top of each article and user page, there are two tabs labelled "Article" and "Talk". Obviously, you want to click on the latter if you want to start a discussion. As for your suggestion about creating a new article, that may not be necessary. If doing a complete overhaul of the article seems to be too much work, you can always expand it to include more recent information. As I said before, I am not very familiar with this particular subject so I may not be best person to ask for an opinion on this. My suggestion would be to start a new topic and repeat pretty much everything you wrote to me (about what you think of the article), so that someone who is watching the article and more familiar with the subject can give better advice. Also, don't forget to sign your comments on talk pages by adding four tildes (~~~~). Davejohnsan (talk) 23:12, 1 August 2012 (UTC)
- Also, one other thing I would like to point out: At the top of the article, you'll notice that there's a green circle with a plus sign inside. This means it's a good article, which means it has gone through a review to ensure that it meets a higher qualify of article standards. This is not to say the article is perfect, but that it's better written than the average one. Davejohnsan (talk) 23:17, 1 August 2012 (UTC)
Episode order
Where in Wikipedia's policies does it say that notes on episode order are inappropriate for an episode article or section ? —MJBurrage(T•C) 01:43, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
- (Sorry if my response seems incoherent). I'm pretty sure that this would fall under WP:NOR, but that's debatable. In any case, the issue I saw with the notes was that it was beginning to expand with details that indicate which episodes aired out of order, and I just think that would put too much emphasis on the anachronisms. Like I said, episodes air out of order all the time; I don't see the point in giving that too much emphasis. Davejohnsan (talk) 03:33, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
- I know its standard practice for series to produce episodes in an order different than they are aired, but it is not standard practice to air them out of the order they were intended to air in by the producers. Simply noting an obvious inconsistency is not research. In one case a main plotline for a few episodes was the capture of a tattooed criminal, then they air an episode where he is still free. Another episode was all about an officer being shot, and later they aired episodes where she was uninjured.
- To simply note these issues is no different than putting other episode details in the article. To speculate as to why the episodes are apparently out of order would be original research. It would also be OR to speculate on the exact intended order, but one does not need a source (other than the episodes themselves) to state that ongoing events in episode 11, began in episode 1, and were resolved episode 3.

Burnt notices
Why hidden? Because I can't source the episode it happened in. (Nor do I have the DVDs) Maybe somebody else can source it. If so, that should remind them.
