[edit]Hi, thanks for message. Although I accept that you acted in good faith, you clearly didn't look at any of our biography articles or read any of the guidance on how to edit. I deleted your article because
- it did not provide adequate independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that he meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what he said. Although you gave some refs they were just bare urls at the end of the article. Put your references in the the text following the fact each supports using <ref>[url description]</ref>. Then the {{reflist}} I've added at the end will automatically generate a numbered list
- it was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Examples of unsourced claims presented as fact include: He was a pioneer in public health... were syndicated in numerous newspapers... the word has gone into the language.— It's written like a hagiography, with vague claims and weasel words
- The article was created in a single edit without wikilinks or references, and looks as if was copied from an unknown and possibly copyrighted source. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. A wikilink is a link to another article like Chicago
- You have an obvious conflict of interest when it comes to editing articles about this subject. Thank you for declaring your interest. I'll post the deleted text here for you to improve. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:36, 28 August 2015 (UTC)
