Neutral tone

Hi there, I see you've been adding to our content on African footballers - that's great, thank you. Can I ask that you don't use words like 'best' in Wikipedia's voice? It's OK to say that someone has been given an award, or to make an attributed statement (eg: he was described by John Smith, the Guardian's football correspondent, as "the best player this season"), but relative statements of quality are subjective judgments, which we shouldn't make in Wikipedia's voice. Thanks! GirthSummit (blether) 19:01, 18 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Daily Mail reference at Juan Mata

[edit]

Hi! The Daily Mail references you added at Juan Mata needs to be replaced. See WP:DAILYMAIL. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 22:42, 20 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop using it now. I've reverted your changes at Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood still has a DM reference. Robby.is.on (talk) 16:02, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. missing "Bubbling" reference

[edit]

Happy 2021, Daniboatman! I noticed in this edit you added <ref name="Bubbling"/>, but did not define the reference with that name. I removed the empty reference call so it doesn't cause an error in the references list. Let me know if you need help adding a reference. = paul2520 💬 16:00, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
