Please stop
Why do you keep on putting references in the wrong spot in articles? I asked you to stop earlier via an edit summary--did you not see it, not care, or not understand what I was trying to say? ―Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 00:30, 2 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Koavf: Hi, yes, I'm confused because I have seen other editors do it the same way when they add Rolling Stone peaks. Could you clarify what you were trying to say earlier? Thanks. CountyCountry (talk) 00:35, 2 March 2020 (UTC)
- CountyCountry, Good deal, then please pardon me for being obscure and not explaining. When I create articles, I put the references in the {{reflist}} template, which is one of two ways to do it. The other way is also acceptable but when there's an established style at a page, you should stick with it. To use a similar example, if I came to a page that is written in British English and I used American spellings and dates, then that would oblige other editors to come along and fix it because that page is written in a different way than the one I used. I appreciate your efforts to add content and they seem to be high-quality edits but it would be better if you could please stick to the formatting of the page as it already is if it has some established style--that would save me the trouble. It's a little thing but it adds up--I have 20,000 pages on my watchlist. Again, lots of thanks and please excuse me if I was unclear in what I was asking. Thanks for writing. ―Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 00:43, 2 March 2020 (UTC)
- Koavf, Thanks for your answer. I will keep this in mind when adding references to articles that already use the ref template. CountyCountry (talk) 00:58, 2 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Koavf: Your edit summary tagged the non-existent user "CountryCountry", so of course CountyCountry would not have seen it. Ss112 03:46, 2 March 2020 (UTC)
- Ss112, Thanks. ―Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 03:54, 2 March 2020 (UTC)

Rolling Stone charting
Look Up Child is a re-entrant chart, and should not be added. Ironically, the discussions you linked both indicate that very thing so I'm not certain why you did. Walter Görlitz (talk) 00:41, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Walter Görlitz: Strange that you said that it shouldn't be added when actually, you added it back in. Was that a mistake that you did? My edit was that I removed it; I didn't add it back in. [1] CountyCountry (talk) 00:46, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
- Strange that you think WP:CONSENSUS is something that I can control. I asked if it should, and suggested it might be appropriate, but it's clearly not. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:19, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Walter Görlitz: Never did I say it was something you can control. There was already consensus at WT:Record charts that we don't use the chart on albums such as Look Up Child. And if you said that it's clearly not appropriate to include the chart (which is what you said above), why would you add the chart back in then? CountyCountry (talk) 04:35, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
- WP:OKAYCHARTS, "Do not use for releases prior to June 2019" while the album was "Released: September 7, 2018". You do the math. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:39, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Walter Görlitz:Yes, that is correct, and that was the reason why I removed the chart in the article. I removed it [2], and you added it back in [3]. CountyCountry (talk) 04:45, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
- Well hit me with a 2x4! Too many edits. I thought I was removing them.... Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:48, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
- Well, it's ok. People make mistakes all the time. But as I said before, don't be quick on reverting without checking what it'd do. CountyCountry (talk) 04:56, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
