Your recent editing history at Template:Odd Future shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
After being unblocked, one would think you'd honestly tread more carefully. User:Drmies, this user is still edit warring over album titles. Ss112 03:06, 12 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry that I posted to your talk page. Anyhoo, I made the edit on Template:Odd Future for the exact reason I wrote about on the affecting page's talk page. If you don't know what I mean, just check for "Future & Juice Wrld Present... Wrld on Drugs" on Template:Future (rapper). See? That's because of WP:COMMONNAME. Then I'm sorry for the warning, as I thought you were just going back to what you did a week or so ago, but in future, please provide an explanation for your reverts. Not every user has time to check each talk page. Ss112 03:16, 12 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Without Me (Halsey song), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Vibe (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

How does this song meet the notability guidelines? There is nothing there that comes close to that. Number of streams on spotify is not significant. Did it place in any countries charts? Without that it just does not qualify for an entry here. noq (talk) 17:01, 16 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Hatchback (song)

[edit]

Hello, ColorTheoryRGB, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Meatsgains, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Hatchback (song), should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hatchback (song).

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Meatsgains}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Notice

The article Hatchback (song) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not yet notable per WP:NSONG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. "Watch This" credits

[edit]

I noticed your edits on the Watch This page and just wanted to add some info: crediting on the remix is tedious because nothing is available online, Tidal was the only place where I found anything, and even then it wasn't much: just Uzi as "vocals" and Arizonatears and Sped Up Nightcore as "remixers". Moreover, I don't think the single was released through Generation Now: Arizonatears' upload on YouTube only mentions Atlantic, while catalog listings of the single make no mention of GN. Wouldn't it be best if we wait until better sourcing comes out for these credits? Toyota Impreza (talk) 16:47, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to be honest, I'm pretty suspicious of this song's release, Toyota Impreza. Most uploads of the song on streaming services have no labels listed at all, "Sped Up Nightcore" is more of a descriptive term than a "remixer" (not even one that applies to the song!), and I feel that if the song would have required some changes in order to feel more "official" (mainly making sure the vocals were on-beat and on-key, which they aren't on the remix). The only reason I think it won't be taken down (and will probably become officially distributed by Atlantic and GN) is because it's charting now, and the labels will see it as profitable.

Also, YouTube Music lists the provider as Sped Up Nightcore, which could explain its presence in the song's credits. This definitively proves that Atlantic and GN don't distribute the song. ColorTheoryRGB CMYK 16:58, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sped Up Nightcore is a Warner-ran profile on DSPs, every single one of their releases is from various Warner artists with sometimes Warner/various official distribution details left out on their releases (see here, here, where they're listed as "Unknown", and here). Furthermore, the song's ISRC entry is USAT22301358, a format that matches the rest of Uzi's catalog. It also has been getting really high placements on editorial playlists on platforms like Spotify's RapCaviar, so if it were to be unofficial, it's shocking to see they let it up. With all of this, I'm leaning more towards an official release, but with an extremely bizarre lack of info with it Toyota Impreza (talk) 21:01, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
