The Letters by Luanne Rice and Joseph Moninger
[edit]Hello, you left a tag on my article about internal links. I was wondering if you could help me with adding links on Luanne's and Joseph's article. I was also wondering if you could possible help me fix his name in the title of the article. thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Chigh1101 (talk • contribs) 15:34, 30 November 2009 (UTC)

Speedy delete of Sara Blonstein removed
[edit]Hi, I've removed your db-hoax tag on Sara Blonstein and instead put a PROD tag based on apparent lack of notability for the biographical article. A quick look at the references shows she is a real person, that she does seem to work in the fields stated - so not a hoax. Lissajous (talk) 17:06, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Vi Burde Ses Noget Mere
[edit]Hello Chuunen Baka, and thanks for your work patrolling new changes. I am just informing you that I declined the speedy deletion of Vi Burde Ses Noget Mere - a page you tagged - because: A7 does not apply to albums or music. There is A9 if the artist has no article, but that doesn't apply here. Please review the criteria for speedy deletion before tagging further pages. If you have any questions or problems, please let me know. JohnCD (talk) 15:23, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
- There is good advice for speedy taggers at WP:10CSD and WP:A7M. Keep up the good work - New Page Patrol needs all the eyes it can get! JohnCD (talk) 15:25, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
- I've also removed your R3 speedy from Cosmo jarvis. Redirects are very cheap in terms of resources, and WP:CSD#R3 says: "redirects from common misspellings or misnomers are generally useful" - we normally keep ones like this, which are created when an article is moved to a new title to correct its capitalisation. The sort of thing R3 is used for is when an article is created with a title like "New article" and then moved to the proper title, or for a misprint which is really unlikely to be searched for, like "C#smo jarvis." Regards, JohnCD (talk) 15:58, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
- ...and from Cerro Verde - a $1.5 bn company is likely to be notable, and a quick Google shows that it's not a hoax.
Don't be discouraged from New Page Patrolling, but do read WP:CSD carefully, and the links I gave you above. Two more useful ones are WP:Field guide to proper speedy deletion and WP:Why I hate Speedy Deleters. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 17:29, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Hello Chuunen Baka, and thanks for your work patrolling new changes. I am just informing you that I declined the speedy deletion of Swiz - a page you tagged - because: Having members who are or were members of a notable band indicates importance/significance. Please review the criteria for speedy deletion before tagging further pages. If you have any questions or problems, please let me know. SoWhy 17:00, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Oeksij Kerekesha
[edit]Hi! Just to let you know that I have declined the speedy deletion of Oeksij Kerekesha, as it is not a candidate for WP:CSD#A7. A7 applies for anything where there is nothing notable about it. However, if there is a small amount of notability asserted, even if it is unreferenced, is is not a candidate. In the article, it asserts that the band has consistently been in the Ukranian Top 40, which is sufficient assertion of notability. Suggest PROD/AFD/Improve.
Looking at other posts on your talk page it appears that you have been nominating a lot of articles for speedy deletion incorrectly. I would encourage you to review the speedy deletion criteria, and I will gladly answer any questions, comments or concerns you have about the process. Cheers! Stephen! Philip Dowell
[edit]I wasn't particularly attached to this page, but I just wonder why you thought it was urgent to delete it. It was not frivolous, but a scientific reference; he is a research botanist who is the author of at least several botanical names (I don't know him, though). Why the haste? jaknouse (talk) 03:12, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
- Um, just another thought. If you're going to delete a page, shouldn't you also delink all the links to that page? jaknouse (talk) 03:14, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

Hello, I noticed you removed the link to 'probably ripped-off copyrighted material' on my 'Ftumch' article. The reason I put that there was because I was advised to put in a reference or a link to something. On the Wikipedia page for the episode in question, there is a link to this script page. Should that be removed too or have I done the right thing in adding that link to my page in place of the one you removed ? Also, do you have any other suggestions for references? --KageTora - (影虎) (A word...?) 14:08, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
Editing of InterNations Page
[edit]Hi. We read your message, and we are actually the Quality Assurance Team of InterNations.org. We have edited out those paragraphs, especially the "InterDations" and "Haiti charity project" because they are simply untrue. We have a banned user who has been taking out his revenege on our wikipedia page as well as other online platforms. The Haitian charity project that was "begun" by our founders is an untruth and he has posted someone's phone number, without their permission, to receive texts. The "InterDations" section is also untrue as we do not promote the usage of our site for "hook-ups", nor do we want this rumor to spread.
We hope that this clears the air. —Preceding unsigned comment added by InterNations (talk • contribs) 08:49, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Dong Feng Motor Philippines
[edit]Hello Chuunen Baka. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Dong Feng Motor Philippines, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The article makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7. Thank you. GedUK 18:58, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
Altered speedy deletion rationale: Red Bull Beer

Film books construction tag
[edit]Hi,
You've removed my tag. I am still in active development of that page,
and I like the part where it encourages other people to add things.
You removed it because it hadn't been touched really recently?

Restoring speedy tags
[edit]In this edit, you removed the list of schools and other information that I had added to South_Carolina_Public_Charter_School_District when you restored the speedy tag that I had removed when I expanded the article. I was not the creator of the article. School districts are generally considered notable, and eventually another editor removed the speedy tag. When you are considering restoring a speedy tag, please check whether the article has been improved from the version that was originally tagged. Eastmain (talk • contribs) 14:22, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Anastasia Levshina
[edit]Hello Chuunen Baka. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Anastasia Levshina, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Levshina has skated in the Polish National Championship; I think that's an assertion of importance. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 23:05, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
Ewelme village page
[edit]As a newbie I’m struggling to understand the rules and etiquette of Wikipedia. I’ve been trying to put information on the Ewelme page regarding an annual charity event (Chiltern Chase). Tnxman307 removed this as being an advert. This was fair comment due to my inexperienced wording etc. At the same time he/she removed some other "advert like entries" (village shop etc). I don’t understand why you have undone these deletions? 94.8.74.227 (talk) 09:19, 3 April 2010 (UTC) Sorry, I thought I was logged-in Ewelme Wik —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.8.74.227 (talk) 09:21, 3 April 2010 (UTC) Ewelme Wik (talk) 09:26, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
- It is all to do with tone. Your change looked to much like an advertising flyer rather than an encyclopaedia entry. I've restored it in a toned down form. --Chuunen Baka (talk) 14:06, 3 April 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. When you patrol new pages, all articles that you have looked at should be marked patrolled, whether you marked them for deletion or deemed them acceptable, unless you are not sure. This saves time and work by informing fellow patrollers of your review of the page so that they do not duplicate efforts. Thank you. --Darkwind (talk) 12:47, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
If you wish an article to be deleted via AfD, you need to do all the steps listed at WP:AfD. At Modern Islamic contributions to science, the steps have not been performed. 147.70.242.54 (talk) 18:45, 8 April 2010 (UTC)

I have in my possession professional photos of Brownlow house from present day and right through to Victorian times. I posted on the discussion for the Lurgan page that I would need help uploading them onto this site.
Anyway, i've no scanner at present, but if you're still interested in havinng the pictures on here, then could I send them to you via email or something? Because the IP disruption has been going on for a while at David Mairs, I've gone ahead and semiprotected the article for a week. If you still think those tags should be there, now would be an appropriate time to restore them. Regards, Shirik (Questions or Comments?) 16:37, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
Hi, would you be so kind as to give us support!
[edit]Hello, I hope you're doing fine and I sincerely apologize for this intrusion. You don't seem so foolish actually, it's better to try late than never I guess... anyway the name sounds great when you don't know its meaning. I've just read your profile and I understood that you're an Irishman (I wish I can visit your wonderful country some time soon!), so you understand what are a minorized language and culture and maybe I am not bothering you and you will help us... I'm a member of a Catalan association "Amical de la Viquipèdia" which is trying to get some recognition as a Catalan Chapter but this hasn't been approved up to that moment. We would appreciate your support, visible if you stick this on your first page: Wikimedia CAT. Supporting us will be like giving equal opportunity to minorized languages and cultures in the future! Thanks again, wishing you a great summer, take care! Keep on preserving your great culture, country, music and language! Slán agat! Capsot (talk) 11:40, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
