What is going on here?
I just came out of retirement after I got a phone call from Wendy Starland herself regarding her article. It went from a well-sourced and fleshed-out article to a nanostub. I have reverted your change for the time being and with all due respect and if you feel it's necessary to retrim the article, please let me know. I'll be glad to return to the project long enough to help reshape it if you wish. My talk page is locked down due to insane vandalism, so if you'd like to answer, please do so here and I'll respond as necessary. Again, thanks for your diligence. Best, --PMDrive1061 (talk) 18:58, 6 April 2011 (UTC)
- Correction: I reopened my talk page and I've "un-retired" so that I can better help with the problems this article has faced. Looking forward to working with you. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 19:59, 6 April 2011 (UTC)
- I have concerns over your behaviour regarding the article and have opened an ANI page. Christopher Connor (talk) 05:09, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah. Thanks for nothing. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 05:30, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
Not Cool
This isn't a cool move, since you are the one who started the thread. With everyone in agreement that the thread was unnecessary drama, it is best that you put the hat back on and drop the stick. Oh and "move along, nothing to see here" is an old Irish cop line, plus it has been used all over TV and Film. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 06:29, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
- I don't see a unanimous consensus that the thread was unnecessary. Several of those commentating had made supportive comments on PMDrive's talk page. If the thread were to be closed, I'd like there to be a stronger consensus for it and assurances that PMDrive abide by policy. Basket of Puppies's closing comment was clearly inadequate in explaining why the thread was longer necessary. However, I won't revert again if it's re-hatted. Christopher Connor (talk) 06:35, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
- Look, an editor closed it, whether the comment was "adequate" or not isn't for you to say. Plus, several admins agreed it was unnecessary drama since you yourself said it was "sort of resolved". So, I am going to close it and hat it again. I hope you keep your word. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 06:41, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
- Well, I would have preferred someone uninvolved in the discussions to do it. But at least your comment was signed and gave a better explanation. Don't worry, I'll keep to my word. Christopher Connor (talk) 06:51, 11 April 2011 (UTC)

Hi Christopher. I am new to Wikipedia, so please bear with me. I work for JCoSS and I am trying to edit some of the things you have put on about JCoSS. We definitely don't want a link to JFS as they are a competitive school, so I would really like this to be removed. Some the text needs looking at too. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jcoss (talk • contribs) 17:56, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
JCoSS
Hi Christopher. I am new to Wikipedia, so please bear with me. I work for JCoSS and I am trying to edit some of the things you have put on about JCoSS. We definitely don't want a link to JFS as they are a competitive school, so I would really like this to be removed. Some the text needs looking at too. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jcoss (talk • contribs) 17:57, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
- The link to JFS (school) seems relevant as they're both prominent Jewish schools and close to each other, although the link certainly isn't the most important part of the article. Removing the references and external links, however, is simply vandalism. Please discuss any issues about the article on its talk page. Christopher Connor (talk) 18:09, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
If you are happy to, please could you edit the text as follows, as to be honest, I'm really not sure how to. Also, out of interest, what is your interst in JCoSS and how come you put something on there about the school?
The two sentences as follows should be removed as the wording is slightly incorrect - 'seven places each year are allocated to autistic children' and 'The disability services at the school are being delivered by Norwood' .
It could be replaced with the following paragraph 'The Pears Special Resource Provision (PSRP) is incorporated within JCoSS, offering up to fifty places (seven per year) for pupils with autistic spectrum disorders (ASD). Norwood is the lead partner in establishing the PSRP, and has helped JCoSS to recruit its head, advise on curriculum, pastoral and support issues. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jcoss (talk • contribs) 18:09, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
Sorry - like I said, this is my first time on Wikipedia and I have no idea how to use it. I didn't realise that I was vandalising. I would be very grateful if you could remove the link to JFS. Although they are a Jewish school, our ethos is very different. Many thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jcoss (talk • contribs) 18:13, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
- We can't simply copy text from the JCoSS website as that would violate the policy on plagiarism. Anyway, I've amended the article and removed the see also link. Also, see your talk page for instructions on how to change your username, because it violates the username policy. Christopher Connor (talk) 18:28, 17 April 2011 (UTC)

Hello Chris, please participate in my random poll be bolding one of the two answer choices I provide at the end of the upcoming question. Ready? Here goes! Question: Have you stopped your anti-Semitic editing? Answer: YES / NO 76.21.250.12 (talk) 03:09, 18 May 2011 (UTC)

Subtle antisemitism
Hello Christopher, your continuing edits to articles regarding Jewish topics contain, from my POV, a high amount of subtle antisemitism that alarms me. Would you mind commenting on whether my perception of your edits are accurate? I have noticed you have been warned, blocked, and topic-banned about this before, and would like to know if you are continuing to try to uphold to that earlier discussion. 96.255.64.62 (talk) 04:14, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
- In your edit summary you imply you are the same editor as User:76.21.250.12, who made this comment. Are you the same editor and do you have any other accounts? Christopher Connor (talk) 11:15, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
- Yep, those were made from different computers that I happened to have accessed that day. Would you mind answering the original question? Do you feel that your comments contain a subtle but purposeful amount of antisemitism and/or racism? Are you adhering to the results of the earlier discussion from when you were warned, blocked, and topic-banned? 137.187.194.153 (talk) 17:35, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
- Do you have a registered account on this website? Why are you so interested in my edits? Christopher Connor (talk) 02:40, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
- I have no idea why he is interested, but I'm interested because, well, you're actually quite an interesting person. (Or at least, very confusing.) Would it be OK if I ask a Jewish person to comment on whether your recent contributions might be alarming to the Jewish community? (He's really not very scary at all.) --Demiurge1000 (talk) 03:11, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
- Personally Demiurge, I came across Mr. Connor when he removed Sweden's entire account of Antisemitism. I just thought this was so unusual that I looked further, and became troubled by his choice in what to edit and in particular the earlier ban. Again from my POV, almost his entire editing history seems to be changing Wikipedia in small ways that, to me, come across as slightly antisemitic and racist. This editing appears to me to be inappropriate given his earlier block, but this is just my view on the matter. I apologize for any confusion caused by my not making an account, but I am often on travel. Wikipedia would end up being just one more password I'd have to change after logging into a public network. 131.118.248.130 (talk) 22:41, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
- Christopher, would you mind answering the original questions? I am interested in hearing your thoughts. As a Jew, my feelings are this is antisemitism of the most pervasive kind because it can be so easy to commit, the attempt to allow/encourage people to trivialize the Holocaust through misinformation. I would be disappointed to hear that this was done on purpose and simply cannot allow such information obfuscation to occur. 131.118.248.130 (talk) 23:36, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
We have misunderstandings here. First, Christopher was not topic-banned in the ANI discussion which you link. He was earlier blocked from editing (I believe twice) for some repeated bad editing decisions that an overwhelming concensus of editors found offensive. Some of these edits concerned material considered to be racist.
Christopher's edit at the section of the anti-semitism article concerning Sweden, was to remove the section, based on what he said in the edit summary was a copyright violation or plagiarism issue. In my opinion, he should also have specified in the edit summary, at least some details of the work plagiarised. However, no-one chose to revert him, so there was no opportunity or requirement for further discussion. (That is a large part of how we work here - someone boldly changes something, someone else reverts it, and then we move to discussion about it, to find a way forward.)
I've just reviewed the last six weeks of Christopher's edits, and I don't see great cause for alarm. If there are edits by Christopher where he is repeatedly engaging in inappropriate behaviour, then I imagine it would not be hard to find a concensus at WP:ANI for imposing a topic ban, given the discussions that have happened previously. However, I am just not seeing clear evidence for such a pattern of behaviour at the moment (with the Sweden edit or anywhere else), so ideally you need to make a list of diffs showing and explaining the problem. Such a list would have a number of potential uses, but let's try it here first.
Also ideally, Christopher should give his opinions on this. Something he's been reluctant to do in the past, and I don't know why. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 01:29, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
@IP. As Demiurge1000 points out, there was no consensus for a topic ban. Also, the block (one in number) wasn't because of my articlespace edits, but because of the content of some of the essays I wrote, which the editors at ANI considered offensive and provocative (not so much antisemitic). There's been no repeat of the behaviour that lead to the block. I find it strange that you are troubled by my removal of the Sweden section of the antisemitism article because it's a fairly innocent edit. (The section has since been restored but not by any of the regular editors at that page.) I don't know what you mean by "attempt to allow/encourage people to trivialize the Holocaust through misinformation"; I think you need to provide evidence for the relevancy of that comment. Overall, I think your perceptions are wrong, and if you look through my edits, you'll see that most of them don't get reverted. Also, your first comment here suggests your motives are less than pure.
Demiurge1000, you're welcome to ask your friend to comment on my edits. Christopher Connor (talk) 00:54, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks Christopher, and thanks also for correcting some of my minor mis-rememberings of earlier events. I'm not going to ask for any further comment at this time because I don't think it's necessary based on what I've looked at, and also if there is a concern then the IP editor (or someone else) needs to provide some diffs making clear what the concern is. You do choose some controversial areas to edit in, but that's not a problem in itself. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 21:47, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
Christopher, why are you so fixated on topics like Criminal black man stereotype. Once again your racist POV pushing is really alarming. Why, for example, are you deliberately inserting unrelated data into that article? Your agenda is both alarming and scary. I can assure you that your edits are being reviewed on multiple fronts. Your unwillingness to be frank and upfront about any affiliations you have with hate-organizations is most concerning. Are you a member of a neo-nazi organization? 96.255.64.62 (talk) 05:25, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
- I have some supplemental questions. Why are you so fixated on topics like Neil Robertson (snooker player)? Are you a member of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution? --Demiurge1000 (talk) 05:52, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
- I don't know who this directed to since Mr. Connor has never edited Royal National Lifeboat Institution and made one small edit to Neil Robertson (snooker player). Mr. Connor however appears to have been involved in numerous debates in regards to the Criminal black man stereotype. I will ask Mr. Connor again, are you a member of a neo-nazi organization, or any other organization that promotes religious or racial intolerance? 128.231.77.159 (talk) 13:42, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

Taking corrective action
You left the following post on the AfD:
- Maybe some of the info can be verified. However that's not enough to pass notability, which requires significant independent coverage. None of the sources are good enough for that. (I think the MMA fighter is a different person.)
Questions:
- What would be enough to pass notability? The References provided links to scores of interviews and opinions offered on respected, credible national television/cable channels. Mr. Julian is highly visible.
- The MMA fighter is the same person. Would an MMA item be important in a Wiki biography on a businessman? The context would have been as follows: As a personal interest, Mr. Julian has always been involved in body building. Upon becoming interested in martial arts in the 2000 time frame, he became proficient in a variety of martial arts. He is of such determined character that he insisted, contrary to the wishes of family and friends, on training for 1 professional bout, which he did, he entered and he won. (Would this have been appropriate?)
I am under the impression that comments by reviewers are to facilitate correcting the article so that the article is in full conformance to Wiki policies and guidelines. It would be very helpful if the reviews were to explicitly state the concern, link to the Wiki policy to which the item does not conform, and recommend the corrective action to be taken which would satisfy the reviewer. We are all in this together and I think we are all conscientious of doing a beneficial and good job.
Note: We have removed links we thought the reviewers deemed in non conformance. We are in the process or reintroducing links that directly support the article statements and attest to Mr. Julian's notability. Your feedback would be much appreciated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ann12h (talk • contribs) 17:59, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
- See the general notability guideline which explains the sources required for something to be notable. The key things are significant coverage, reliable, and independent. Can you find any sources that satisfy those three? None of the sources I saw did. For example, this isn't independent because he's a guess there. This interview isn't really about him, so I wouldn't call that significant coverage. And similarly for the others. The MMA thing isn't too important-he isn't notable as an MMA fighter-although I couldn't find evidence they are one and the same. Christopher Connor (talk) 19:20, 14 July 2011 (UTC)

British Pakistanis
Hello there, could I ask why you removed the (sourced) mango and rug material from British Pakistanis? Also, I initially removed the tag beacuse all book references now have appropriate page numbers (unless I have missed some). --Sansonic (talk) 17:54, 31 July 2011 (UTC)
- I removed it because they were in my opinion trivial things. Who cares if some rugs are sold at John Lewis? The rug material was sourced to the store section of the John Lewis website, so the source would have been considered a spam link. Also, the material isn't particularly relevant to the article, which is about Pakistanis in the UK, not about products made in Pakistan. Source 118, "Encyclopedia of diasporas", has no page numbers; also, the same book appears to be used elsewhere. There's also several papers/reports that don't have them (I normally have them unless there's only a few pages). Christopher Connor (talk) 18:55, 31 July 2011 (UTC)

This combined with your recent block as a result of your using excessive Nazi imagery paints a very troubling trend of your history as a Wikipedia editor. I would strongly suggest that you not edit topics that appear to consistently get you into trouble. This kind of bigotry and hatred has no place in Wikipedia, or in its editors. - For the sake of accuracy, a block considerably more than a year ago is not a "recent" block.
- I think you should consider the possibility that a great many of the controversial edits made by Christopher are just downright odd, as opposed to being prima facie instances of "bigotry and hatred". --Demiurge1000 (talk) 03:19, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
- Dear JamaUtil, do you need heart medication? If you do, please take it before you read further. My revelation is going to blow your mind! Okay taken your heart medication? Well check out this link Image:World-map-2004-cia-factbook-large-2m.jpg. Believe it or not, there is a world outside the United States. Indeed most of the world is outside the United States!!! I do hope you took your medication since I don't want to be responsible to your death due to the shock of this discovery... P.S. After going through the history I found out you are User:JamaUtil who was born in 1992 so I guess you don't need heart medication. After you've gotten over the shock of this recent discovery, how about reading Wikipedia:Sign your posts on talk pages? Think about it, if you sign your posts, people would know who you are so our reponses could be more appropriate... OMFG, l33t and all that, I know! BTW, if anyone is thinking of pointing me to Wikipedia:Civility, don't bother I've read it and understand it. And BTW, I've read Wikipedia:No personal attacks as well and don't consider this a personal attack. 72.75.116.155 (talk) 20:39, 22 April 2012 (UTC)
- JamaUtil's got a grudge against me because I AfD'd an article he cared about two years ago and he's not been able to forget it. I've always known it was you and at least now you're man enough to sign in when posting here. If you think you can bait me into attacking you, I hope you realise it's not going to work. I just find reading the same message over and over again very tedious. Christopher Connor (talk) 15:31, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
Hi, you edited this page] in 2010. Since then something went wrong. In particular, the footnote attached to the name "Marc Mauer" was changed. I was wondering who the heck was Marc Mayer (ie why his opinion is important here). Unfortunately the pdf file of Quillian & Pager you linked if dead link now, so I cannot see for myself. Can you please figure it out (confirm/revert the footnote change)? Staszek Lem (talk) 03:12, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
- Never mind. I figured it out myself. Staszek Lem (talk) 03:19, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
