License tagging for File:Intuit-logo 230px.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Intuit-logo 230px.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 15:30, 29 August 2022 (UTC)

Paid editing
[edit]Hello NPdigital. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:NPdigital. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=NPdigital|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. ~~~~ Theroadislong (talk) 17:13, 3 October 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, @Theroadislong. My apologies. The template
has been added to our user page. Additionally, the connection between NP digital and Intuit has been sited.This user, in accordance with the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use, discloses that they have been paid by {{{employer}}} for their contributions to Wikipedia. - I appreciate your help with this, Theroadislong. After much research, I believe we have made our intentions clear and ensure they align with Wikipedia's paid editors guidelines for publication.
- Please let me know if there is anything else we must do. NPdigital (talk) 19:31, 3 October 2022 (UTC)

[edit]The new username that you use (either by just creating a new account, or having your current one changed) must represent only yourself as an individual, and it must comply with Wikipedia's username policy.
You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable, regardless of the username that you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid or compensated in any way, you must disclose who is paying you to edit here.
- To create a new account with a different username, simply log out of this account and then click here to make a new one.
- If you prefer to change the username on this account, you may do so by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page here:
{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
.
Either method that you decide to use in order to use a different username is up to you, but you may prefer to just change your current username to one that complies with our username policy if you've already made contributions using this account. Having your account's username changed means that your past contributions (if any), settings, user pages, scripts, and other items will move with you and over to your new username.
Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can check here for a list of already-taken usernames, as well as search through that list to see if the username you'd like to choose is available (just look at the list of users that appear in the results - if the account that is listed on the very top not match your search, it is available to be taken).
Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".
If your username does not represent a group, organization, website, or other entity described above, and if you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, you may appeal this username block by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page here: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

[edit] An article you recently created, StackAdapt, is not suitable as written to remain published. An article needs more information and citations from reliable, independent sources to remain in the mainspace. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline, has suitable content and thus is ready for mainspace, first place {{AfC submission|T}}
atop the article, publish, then click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Please note COI articles are recommended to go through the WP:AfC process as well. Thanks, Silikonz💬 17:04, 30 January 2023 (UTC)
Your submission at Articles for creation: WatchBox (February 22)
[edit]- If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:WatchBox and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.
- If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it will be considered abandoned and may be deleted.
- If you need any assistance, or have experienced any untoward behavior associated with this submission, you can ask for help at the Articles for creation help desk, on the reviewer's talk page or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help from experienced editors.
- They are notable but the draft needs too comply with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Right now it is written as if it the company's website rather than an encyclopedia article. Generally the Wikipedia community expects paid editors to already understand Wikipedia's standards and to be able to write and source a draft appropriately. What the company says or wants to say about themselves is not relevant. S0091 (talk) 21:08, 22 February 2023 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of StackAdapt
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on StackAdapt, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Edwardx (talk) 22:49, 22 February 2023 (UTC)
Final warning on paid editing
[edit]Paid editors are required to follow the conflict of interest guidelines. This includes that, rather than directly creating or editing articles for which you have been paid or have other conflicts of interest, you are expected to first have any proposed creations or edits reviewed by a non-conflicted editor. At StackAdapt, you created a paid article directly in mainspace, and then even after a non-conflicted editor moved it to a draft, moved it back to mainspace yourself. You must refrain from doing this again. In the future, instead of doing this, create a draft and request review by articles for creation. If you intend to suggest edits to an existing article, suggest them on the talk page, then add {{request edit}} to flag your proposal for review. Continued violations of these policies are likely to lead to a block from editing without further warning. Seraphimblade Talk to me 06:41, 23 February 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Catmich2022! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at ChromeOS that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you.
