Categories

Hello. Whilst your enthusiasm for Wikipedia is commendable, you should probably have a read of some Wikipedia guidelines before you continue. In particular Wikipedia:Overcategorization - your categorisation of people by nationality and by descent from particular regions of Italy would fail the "non-defining" and "intersection" tests. The region of Italy will be defining in some cases - for instance a New York mafioso's connection to Sicily - but it's not really relevant which region Akhenaton's grandparents came from. Also something like Category:Uruguayan people of Ligurian descent is always going to be a small category, it's better done using Wikipedia's tools for finding common members in two bigger categories.
On a related note, categories should only be assigned to people articles on the basis of good third-party references - in particular see the religion section of Wikipedia:Categorization/Ethnicity,_gender,_religion_and_sexuality. It's something that we have to be very careful about.
Since you seem to have an interest in Italy, there's lots of things you can do to make our articles on Italy better. Why not have a look around at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Italy and its talk page, in particular why not look at Wikipedia:WikiProject Italy/Assessment and click on eg the to the High importance stubs for some articles in need of work? It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
