The article Jacobs Corner, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Not a notable location. I can't find any evidence that this was a legally-recognized populated place; it does appear on a 1916 topographic map: [1], but otherwise the only mentions I can find are from obituaries, classified ads, and the like (all trivial). The site therefore fails WP:GEOLAND and WP:GNG. Satellite view shows an intersection with one house, surrounded by farmland.

The article Kiesel, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable railroad waypoint, not an "unincorporated community". Satellite view just shows a stretch of tracks next to the river. No information about this place at all could be found, saved for the cited sources (which are either unreliable or insufficient to establish notability). All information about the name Kiesel that could be found referred to people by that name, suggesting this was just a non-notable railroad stop on land owned by the Kiesel family. Without any evidence this was a populated place it's a clear failure of WP:GEOLAND and WP:GNG.

The article Mikon, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
A railroad junction, not an "unincorporated community". Railroad junctions are subject to WP:GNG, which is unambigously not met in this case: there is no significant secondary coverage about this place at all, and the articles cited do not establish notability.

The article Norton, Yolo County, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This article is, quite frankly, a lie. Norton was an insignificant railroad waypoint, not an "unincorporated community", and even the 1953 USGS topo map (one of the few mentions of Norton that I could find) shows only a single building, likely a freight shed, beside the tracks: [2]. The railroad in this area was abandoned in the 1970s, so there is nothing there today; satellite view shows only empty farmland. Absolutely, unambiguously non-notable location; railroad points are subject to WP:GNG which is failed completely in this case. No other information found.

The article Riverview, Yolo County, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Not an unincorporated community, a non-notable railroad point. This article: [3] states that Riverview is a "station" on the Sacramento Northern (most likely a flag stop). All other mentions are passing, such as [4]. Satellite view today shows just farmland with a few houses here and there. With no solid evidence this was a populated place, this article fails WP:GNG and WP:GEOLAND. Sources cited do not establish notability.

The article Sugarfield, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This is not an unincorporated community; it's a non-notable industrial complex north of Woodland. First appearance of the name Sugarfield is on the 1953 USGS Woodland topo map, which clearly shows an industrial area of some kind: [5]. The name also appears (with no buildings or railroad tracks) in the 2012 topo, but no other sources. A search of the term "Sugarfield" in Yolo County newspapers returned not one result. Clearly this is not a notable location and not a community; there is no secondary coverage and no evidence this was a populated place, so WP:GEOLAND and WP:GNG are not met. Satellite view shows an industrial complex, not a "community".

The article Valdez, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Another non-notable railroad waypoint being falsely described as an "unincorporated community". No information about this place found; satellite view shows an isolated farm. This was a stop on the long-defunct Sacramento Northern Railroad, so WP:GNG is the relevant standard for notability, and it is not met, as no significant secondary coverage could be found (cited sources are unreliable and/or insufficient to establish notability).

The article Howard Mill, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Not a notable location; no information found at all. This place only appears on two maps: the 1951 Lake Pillsbury 1:62500 USGS quad and the 1967 Elk Mountain 1:24000 quad: [6]. On the first map there are a couple of buildings, and on the second map there are two buildings located to the north of where the other buildings were. This was probably just a sawmill, not a "settlement". Satellite view shows nothing at all at the site now, just forest. Without any coverage this site fails WP:GEOLAND and the sources cited are insufficient for notability.

The article Midlakes, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable location and inaccurate article. All information I could find about this place refers to it as Midlake; not one source other than Durham calls it Midlakes (suggesting the creator of the article didn't know what they were talking about). More importantly, all sources are trivial passing mentions, and the cited sources are unreliable or insufficient for notability. I can find Midlake referred to in legal notices and classified ads, but no secondary coverage about the place. It therefore fails WP:GEOLAND and WP:GNG.

The article Mirabel, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Not a notable location. The only mention of this place I could find was a handbook on mineral resources, which lists it as a mercury mine: [7]. No other information found, and this was almost certainly just a mine and not a populated, recognized place. Fails WP:GEOLAND. Since there is a Mirabel Heights in nearby Sonoma County, this article is confusing as well.

The article Reiff, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable location; only passing mentions found, e.g.: [8]. Existence of a post office does not establish notability, nor does inclusion in GNIS. No information about this place was found, making it a failure of WP:GEOLAND as there is no evidence it was a recognized populated place.

The article Enterprise, Lake County, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Absolutely no information found about this place, other than the name. Appears on the 1967 Elk Mountain USGS topo map, as two buildings: [9]. Other than the sources cited (which are unreliable and do not establish notability) this is all that could be found. This was clearly never a community of any kind, probably just a woodsman's cabin. Satellite image reveals nothing at all today, just empty forest. Clearly not notable and a failure of WP:GNG and WP:GEOLAND.

The article Glenview, Lake County, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No information found about this location; the cited sources are either unreliable or insufficient for notability. No mentions of Glenview found in local press that were unambiguously about this place. Satellite view shows rural residential area. The article Hobergs, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No information about this location was found, apart from information about Hobergs Resort. All of the cited sources are either primary, unreliable, or broken links (or some combination of these), and little else could be found to establish notability. The "community" of Hobergs therefore does not seem sufficiently notable or distinct from Hobergs Resort to have an article. As an alternate, I could also accept a redirect to Hobergs Resort.

The article Sunrise Vista, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable location; almost no information found about this place. There is one mention (passing) in a 1959 obituary: [10], and another passing mention from 1972, which says Sunrise Vista was a resort: [11]. No mention in Hoberg's "Resorts of Lake County" [12], suggesting this was not an especially notable resort. Clearly this place fails WP:GNG and WP:GEOLAND.

Not a notable location. No information about this place was found except for the two cited sources (which are unreliable and insufficient for notability), and a passing mention in this book on Yolo County history: [13]. The name appears on USGS topos up until 1942: [14], but never with more than one or two buildings. This isn't and never was a community, it was just a farm, and a non-notable one.

The article Cape Horn, Placer County, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This is not a community; it's a non-notable railroad point named for a nearby hill. This book: [16] is one of the few references I could find, showing the railroad going "over Cape Horn", and this historical marker [17] describes Cape Horn as a "promontory". Since this isn't a populated place WP:GNG applies, and this article fails it as the sources cited do not establish notability, and little other information could be found other than passing mentions (the first link above is a passing mention, the second only describes Cape Horn as a location).

The article Eder, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This article is factually incorrect. Eder is not a "former railroad town", it is a non-notable railroad waypoint. It first appears on the 1932 Truckee USGS quad (called "Ever"): [19], and later (as Eder) on the 1955 Donner Pass and Norden quads. In all cases it's just a junction with a couple of buildings (sheds or worker housing, probably). Another non-notable railroad waypoint being falsely described as an "unincorporated community". This was never any such thing: its first mention is in the 1938 Colfax USGS topo map, and it appears again on the 2000 Westville map: [20]. Non-notable mining camp; no information found other than the cited sources, which do not establish notability. Not mentioned in Sommers' Placer County (Arcadia Publishing). Last appearance on a map is the 1938 Colfax USGS quad, showing 5 buildings: [21]. The article Greekstore, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No information found about this place; not notable. There is indeed a "Greek Store Guard Station" shown on maps dating back to 1938: [22], but never with more than one or two buildings. By 2000, the topo maps instead just showed "Greek Store (site)". This is not and never was a community, it was just a forest guard station. Non-notable location. Fails WP:GEOLAND because there is no evidence this was ever a populated place; fails WP:GNG for lack of secondary coverage (cited sources are insufficient for notability). This newspaper article: [23] indicates it was just a minor sawmill. The mill does appear on USGS topo maps starting in 1938, with a few buildings shown: [24], but there is nothing at the site today as evidenced by sattelite images. Ordinary sawmill, not notable, and definitely not a "community".

The article Magra, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable railroad point; not a "community". Only passing mentions found as a site on the railroad or as a point during the construction of I80. Not mentioned at all in either Sommers' or Angel's histories of Placer County. Clearly this is not a notable place; fails WP:GEOLAND and WP:GNG. Satellite view just shows railroad tracks with a rural freeway exit nearby, no other human structures.

The article Midas, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable railroad point, not a community. Only passing mentions to a Shady Run Mining District could be found, suggesting this was a set of mines, not a community. No mention of Midas found at all. Clear failure of WP:GNG and WP:GEOLAND. Sources cited are insufficient for notability.

The article Monte Vista, Placer County, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable location; does not seem to be a "community". I can find several mentions (all trivial) to the Monte Vista Inn at the site, which still exists, but nothing about a Monte Vista "community". Just a non-notable inn/restaurant. Sources cited do not establish notability for WP:GEOLAND; absence of secondary coverage fails WP:GNG. There are dozens of places in California named Monte Vista, making this stub pointless and confusing.

Non-notable location; no information at all found about this place. Cited sources are insufficient to establish notability. Satellite image of coordinates shows just a freeway exit in the forest; there is a Niels Road nearby but no sign of any "community". Not mentioned once in either Sommers' [25] or Angel's [26] histories of Placer County. Clearly not a notable place; fails WP:GNG and WP:GEOLAND.

The article Pinecroft, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Not an "unincorporated community"; this place was a Baptist summer camp: [27]. This source is the closest to significant coverage that I can find on this place; it isn't mentioned in the two histories of Placer County that I have access to, and there are only a few scattered residences evident in satellite images today. Fails WP:GNG.

The article Rampart, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Not a notable location, and the factual accuracy of this article is questionable. Reference 3 is the only source that might possibly establish notability of this place, but the link is broken and a comparable site could not be found with extensive searching. References 1 and 2 do not establish notability. The statement that this place was on the Overland Route is false; it was on the branch rail line to Lake Tahoe, not the transcontinental railroad, which ran through Truckee. This indicates to me whoever wrote this piece was not doing their research well. Without any secondary coverage or evidence this was a recognized populated place it fails WP:GEOLAND and WP:GNG.

The article Rawhide, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This article is false. Rawhide was never a community; it was a mine: [28], [29], [30] and a non-notable mine at that. No evidence this was a recognized populated place, failing WP:GEOLAND. Satellite view shows empty forest with the ruins of a couple small sheds. Absolutely not a community, never was.

The article Tahoe Pines, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable housing development, not an unincorporated community. Non-legally recognized places like housing tracts are subject to WP:GNG, which is failed in this case because of the lack of significant secondary coverage. All mentions in press are trivial; not mentioned at all in various histories of Placer County. Without legal recognition this is a non-notable place.

The article The Cedars, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable, possibly nonexistent, location. No mention in any history of Placer County that I could locate. Only references that might possibly be to this place are a 1946 article on snow depth measurements: [31], and a 1952 fluff piece on a man who sprained his ankle while hiking: [32]. These are extremely trivial mentions, and without any other information found this location unambiguously fails WP:GNG and WP:GEOLAND. Another zero-effort stub created by the same user in 2009, based solely on GNIS, which does not establish notability.

The article Troy, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This article is false. Troy was not a "former railroad town", it was a non-notable railroad waypoint. Zero mentions were found in three separate histories of Placer County that I searched; zero mentions were found in Placer County newspapers. The site appears for the first time in the 1932 Truckee USGS topo map: [33]; by 1955 it had three buildings (probably maintenance sheds), and today there is nothing there but railroad track surrounded by forest. Rail points are subject to WP:GNG which is obviously and unambiguously failed in this case. Another no-effort stub based entirely on GNIS, which is insufficient for notability.

The article Whitney, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This is not a notable location; it is merely a historical ranch. The name Whitney appears repeatedly in Placer County histories: [34], but always in reference to a person, never a "community". There is a Whitney School and Whitney Ranch nearby but again, these were probably named for the landowner. Without evidence there was ever a recognized populated place by this name, this article fails WP:GEOLAND, and without secondary coverage it fails WP:GNG as well. The cited sources are unreliable and do not establish notability.

The article Zuver, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable mine; this was never an "unincorporated community". Three histories of Placer County and its mines contain not one single mention of Zuver: [35][36][37]. Search of local newspapers only returns mentions of people with that last name. Zero coverage makes this a clear failure of WP:GNG and with no evidence this was ever a populated place it fails WP:GEOLAND as well. Clearly nonexistent; satellite view shows empty forest.

Non-notable location. Just a rural intersection, not an unincorporated community. Precisely one mention could be found in newspapers: [38]. The article Balderson Station, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable location. This was never a community of any sort; it was a way station for logging teams to change horses: [39]. In 1918 it was a "store, saloon, and boardinghouse" [40]. In other words, this was just a business, not a populated place. It is therefore subject to WP:GNG, which is clearly failed because none of these amount to significant coverage, and the cited sources are insufficient for notability.

Yet another rural intersection being falsely described as an "unincorporated community", thanks to the prolific misinformer Carlossuarez46. This is a non-notable location; no mentions were found in books or newspapers; only sites that scrape Wikipedia mention this place (cited sources are insufficient for notability). I can find plenty of information about a Buckeye school district, but nothing describing Buckeye as a community. Non-notable, possibly nonexistent location. Only mentions are in sites that regurgitate Wikipedia; GNIS does not establish notability. "Cedar Grove" does not appear on any USGS topo map at these coordinates: [41]. Fails WP:V, WP:GNG, and WP:GEOLAND; in short this is a stub article on a locale that does not exist.

The article Deer View, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable location; no information found. I can find references to a Deer View Lodge, but that seems to have been in Placerville. The 1950 Slate Mountain USGS topo map shows Deer View as a few buildings: https://ngmdb.usgs.gov/topoview/viewer/#15/38.8433/-120.6677; no other map shows anything at this site although some use the name. The article Five Mile Terrace, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable location. Several passing mentions in news articles can be found, but most of them refer to the site as a point on Highway 50 and not as a community, e.g. [42]. No evidence this is a legally recognized populated place, failing WP:GEOLAND, and without significant coverage it also fails WP:GNG.

The article Frenchtown, El Dorado County, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable former settlement. The place existed, but all that I can find are passing mentions such as [43]. This book [44] mentions a Guillaume Barrette who settled at Frenchtown in 1851, but says almost nothing about the place itself. In the absence of significant coverage this place fails WP:GNG and it likely fails WP:GEOLAND because there is no solid evidence this was really a town, as opposed to just a farm or rural district. There is a better-documented Frenchtown in Yuba County, not very far away, and most sources refer to that place, making this article a bit confusing.

Non-notable location; does not seem to have ever been a community. I can find only very trivial mentions to a "Kingsville house": [45] and a "Kingsville ranch": [46]; it's not completely clear these are even referring to the same place. Most likely this was just a ranch owned by someone named Kingsville. Regardless, it isn't an unincorporated community, and it completely lacks significant coverage. Fails WP:GEOLAND and WP:GNG. Sources cited are insufficient for notability.

The article Lake Valley, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This article appears to be mostly OR. I can't find any specific reference to a Lake Valley as described in the article; if you zoom in to the map that comes up on reference 3, you find a Lake Valley near South Lake Tahoe but not in the place described by the text of the article; reference 5 does indeed show such a place but as a valley, not as a community. Since "Bigler Lake" was an early name for Lake Tahoe, it is likely Lake Valley simply refers to the region now known as Tahoe Valley. This article is therefore likely to be factually incorrect; without any sources specifically about a "Lake Valley" this article fails WP:GEOLAND and WP:GNG; the cited sources that do support existence do not show this as a community.

Non-notable location; not one single mention found in El Dorado County or Sacramento County newspapers, and no mention in Siolo's history of El Dorado County. Not an unincorporated community, just a store. Satellite view reveals a gas station and Dollar General store. Only three mentions of this place in the entirety of California's newspapers, all of them to classified ads for a rental property. No mention in Siolo's history of El Dorado County. Obvious fail of WP:GNG and WP:GEOLAND, gas stations are not presumed notable. Sources cited are insufficient for notability and the second paragraph is pure OR.

Nonexistent location; article is based on a spurious GNIS entry (which does not establish notability). No mentions of this place could be found anywhere other than GNIS, sites that scrape Wikipedia, and the 2012 and 2015 Clarksville USGS topo maps: [47], each of which puts Oak Creek Hills in a different place. The article Perks Corner, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable location. Almost every mention in local media is trivial and dates from the late 1950s-early 60s, and refers to the site as a location of road construction. This obituary from 1978: [48] specifically called Perks Corner a service station. This is the only mention of a Perks Corner that can be found after 1965; the present location is a freeway interchange. Clearly Perks Corner isn't a community; it never was, it was a service station, and not one with any significant coverage. Fails WP:GNG and WP:GEOLAND.

The article Spring Valley, El Dorado County, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable location; no information found. All references in press are to the Spring Valley Water Company or to a Spring Valley Ranch in neighboring Placer County. There is no evidence there is or ever was a community of Spring Valley; satellite view shows empty forest (there is a Spring Valley Road nearby). Without evidence this was ever a real place it fails WP:GNG and WP:GEOLAND.

The article Tallac Village, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Nonexistent location. Tallac Village is a neighborhood in Sacramento, making this stub both uninformative and confusing. No mention of a Tallac Village at the given coordinates could be found; it's a residential area on the outskirts of South Lake Tahoe. References to a Tallac House near Lake Tahoe can be found in Sioli's history: [52] but it's unclear if that is the "Tallac Village" referred to here. GNIS is meaningless, as is the photo. Without real evidence this is a populated place it fails WP:GEOLAND and WP:GNG.

The article Mullen, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Completely non-notable location. No information found other than the sources on this page, which are insufficient for notability. Reference 3 is a fragmentary passing mention that says nothing at all about Mullen, other than it's 2.5 miles from Woodland (or was, in 1913; today the coordinates are for a park and sports complex on the outskirts of Woodland). Without further information this article fails WP:GEOLAND and WP:GNG.

The article Oat Valley, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Inaccurate article and non-notable location to boot. The Pomo name indeed means Oat Valley, but the cited source specifically says this was used by the Potter Valley Pomo, who lived far to the west of Yolo County; the name referred to a different Oat Valley. That leaves reference 2, which is questionable. Without more information (and I wasn't able to find anything) this is both a misleading and uninformative article about a place that nobody can say anything about.

The article Barton, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable location; no information about this place was found. Two histories of Amador County do not contain any mention of this place: [53],[54] I did find mention of a Barton's Flat: [55], and several extremely passing trivial mention of a "Barton's" from the 1800s in the Amador County papers, but nothing else. Likely was just a ranch. Regardless, GNIS is insufficient for notability and without further information this place fails WP:GEOLAND and WP:GNG.

The article Bonnefoy, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable location. No information was found in newspapers (although there were several individuals in the area with the last name Bonnefoy); no mention of either a person or a community in either of two histories of Amador County: [56], [57]. There is a Bonnefoy Road at the coordinates given, but that doesn't mean anything, and GNIS does not establish notability. Fails WP:GEOLAND.

The article Electra, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable location. Several mentions in local press could be found, but all were passing, and all were referring to the place as a PG&E generating station, not as a "community". No mention in Amador County histories. Site is now an electrical plant on an isolated stretch of river. Electrical facilities are subject to WP:GNG, which is failed due to lack of significant coverage.

The article Scottsville, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable location; all mentions of this place that I could find have been trivial and passing, e.g. [58]. It certainly existed, but no information about it appears to be on the web. Without further information, this site is a failure of WP:GNG and WP:GEOLAND as the sources cited are insufficient for notability. Satellite view shows an intersection on the outskirts of Jackson with a Scottsville Road.

The article Sunnybrook, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Completely non-notable location. Zero information found; not one hit in Amador or neighboring counties' newspapers about this place, not one mention of Sunnybrook in three histories of Amador County ([59],[60], [61]). Searching for "Vogans" returns hits for a John Vogan in the second of those three references, but never to a place called Vogan's. Absolutely no information available; clear failure of WP:GNG and WP:GEOLAND. Sources cited are insufficient for notability.

The article Milligan District, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
From what I can find, this was never a settlement, just a school: [62]. Other than the two cited sources (which are insufficient for notability), this is the only mention of a Milligan District that could be found. Non-notable, fails WP:GNG and WP:GEOLAND.

The article Pokerville, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This is not a distinct settlement from Plymouth, California: All sources I can find say it was just an early name for Plymouth, except this one: [63], which says it was a settlement on the site of what became Plymouth, but is ambiguous about whether it was a separate place that was later overtaken by Plymouth, or became Plymouth. Without further information, this non-notable location should just be deleted as a failure of WP:GEOLAND. I could also accept a redirect to Plymouth.

The article Alta Hill, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable location. This is just a neighborhood of Grass Valley; nonlegally-recognized places such as neighborhoods are governed by WP:GNG, which is failed in this case due to lack of significant coverage. I can find several references to an Alta Hill mining district, but all of these are passing and insignificant. Sources cited are insufficient for notability.

The article Bitney Corner, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable location. A sum total of nine references could be found in the entirely of California newspapers indexed in newspapers.com, the most significant of which is this one: [64], a passing mention. Satellite view shows an intersection. Utterly fails WP:GNG and WP:GEOLAND. Yet another intersection being falsely called an "unincorporated community" because it somehow got into GNIS.

The article Casey Corner, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The article Dew Drop, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This article is completely false. There is no community of Dew Drop; it is a restaurant/inn/service station on the old alignment of highway 49. Only passing mentions could be found in press, all of which refer to the Dew Drop Inn, not any "community" of Dew Drop. Fails WP:GEOLAND and WP:GNG since all coverage is trivial. Satellite view shows an inn surrounded by forest. Not a community, GNIS fails again.

Factually incorrect article. Kres is not an unincorporated community, it was a non-notable point on the long-gone Nevada County railroad: [66]. The article Pinecrest, Nevada County, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Article is factually incorrect. Pinecrest is not and never was an unincorporated community, it was just a private residence: [68],[69]. Both of those are trivial mentions, so WP:GNG is failed. No other information found; since there are other better-documented places in California named Pinecrest, this nonexistent "community" should not have an article.
