Disambiguation link notification for September 19
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2015–16 Montreal Canadiens season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Andrei Markov. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

11:12:53, 8 September 2015 review of submission by Muzzawb
Hi there
thanks so much for taking the time to review my submission. this is my first 'create page' and I would value your input. I have read the wikipedia policy on original research and need some help in where i need to improve the sources. All of my sources are primary sources - either printed books and journals from libraries and universities, or from contemporary newspapers or local government publications, and i have listed these in the references.
Could 'original research' be referring to information that I sourced from contemporary newspaper reports online? This information was not directly referred to in the books and journals i mentioned above. It was information I located. I was trying to be careful in not creating new information, synthesising published material and only using information that directly supported the submission. I would really appreciate your feedback on where I may have gone wrong here.
I'm very happy to do the necessary edits/improvements - could you provide me with some examples in my submission so I know where I need to make the edits and I can then apply to rest of submission.
Thanks again for your time.

Austin P. McKenzie, American actor
Hi @Callmemirela: ! I just took at look at Austin McKenzie's article Draft:Austin_McKenzie_(actor) and took the liberty of "fixing" it in general. I made sure all references were from news outlets and removed all references to sites such as IMDB. I was also able to validate that he did his broadway debut recently. Could you help provide me with some additional guidance to understand what kind of additional information would be needed to get this article approved?
Also, thanks for the article on the Fosters :)

Dear Mirela, You rejected https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Persian_Chess for too much primary references. This variant is mentioned in the encyclopedia of chess variant. This source is sufficient for a chess variant to be notable. Encyclopedia of chess variants is an independent source and is NOT a "primary source" for Persian Chess. There are many chess variant in the Wikipedia that are referring to this encyclopedia as the one and only reference, please have a look at the chess variants page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_chess_variants The majority of these variants are less notable, less played and less recognized in comparison with Persian Chess. Unfortunately your reason for rejecting this page doesn't seem to be valid. Thanks for your time, but there is nothing more I can do. Gitlocker

Review of submission: Draft:Twist with the Ventures
You rejected my article: Draft:Twist with the Ventures for "Previous issues not addressed.". Since this is my first article, I need to learn more about your reasoning. First, when originally submitted, I had only one reference. The original reviewer "Primefac" cited the lack of "reliable references", indicating that the one I used was The Ventures own website; and that references needed to be independent. I added many others and two of them were eliminated because I could not use Wikipedia pages as references. I understand all of this now, but that still left five other references; so in my opinion, I had addressed previous issues. What else can I do to improve this article, specifically regarding the "Previous issues not addressed". Thank you in advance for any advice or guidance that you can provide. Fifty Shades, Controversies, Reversion
Again with the reverting edit. I've brought it up on the talk page, if you'd like to discuss it, it's there. I don't know why, last time, you said that you didn't know what I was talking about, it has clearly marked it as having been reverted by you. I'm more than happy to discuss it on the "Talk" page, so it's there to be discussed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Savcam500 (talk • contribs) 18:41, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
Passengers (2016 film)
Hello Mirela! Thanks for informing me about the filming, which just started. It's good to see you from Canada, because I really wanted to go there for study, but my application for study permit just got rejected from the Embassy 3 days ago. I hope you're doing well, and how's the Jane the Virgin? I mean, I've not seen a single episode yet, is it watchable/good? --Captain Assassin! «T ♦ C ♦ G» 16:52, 28 September 2015 (UTC)
- @Captain Assassin!: No problem. I admire Jennifer Lawrence, as per my infobox, so I stay in touch in what she does here and there. I am so sorry you were rejected. What were you going to study in? And where? I plan on applying to McGill for Nursing. I do watch Jane the Virgin. I personally love it. It's very comical and it contains the elements of surprise from every direction. I did not see the season finale coming in any way. I was expecting for Jane to just give birth and that would be it. I was so wrong. I recommend it. Callmemirela 🍁 {Talk} ♑ 23:56, 28 September 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, I like Lawrence as well. I was planning to study Digital Film & Video at the Art Institute of Vancouver, but unfortunately it would be a dream now. I will apply again after two years for Canada or States. Hmm, I'm going to start watching the series soon. Thanks for your cooperation. --Captain Assassin! «T ♦ C ♦ G» 01:51, 29 September 2015 (UTC)
How do I fix the issue you turned my article down for?
Hi, Mirela!
On September 17 you declined my submission located at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Kamala_Devi_McClure.
I'm a newbie at this, so please forgive me for probably overlooking the obvious! Your reason was "Previous issues not addressed." And yet there was only one issue the first time, and that was an excessive amount of sources. I had about 72 citations, and was worried that there were too many; so I reduced it to 15 and deleted some material.
I was under the impression that documentation is important. So I do have have external and internal (Wikipedia) links for those who seek additional facts.
Kamala Devi is very important in her field of expertise, and I'm totally frustrated that I can't seem to finalize a submission!!!! I've read the rules and have tried to follow them. But clearly I'm missing something.
Would you explain to me what I'm doing wrong so I can correct it? I'd really love to have this article published on Wikipedia. :-)
Thanks, Mary https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Mvanmeer23 Mvanmeer23 (talk) 20:35, 16 October 2015 (UTC)

Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising and Selena Gomez
There seems to be a lot of info about her being in this film including a reference just after the film name in the intro, her mention as starring in the lead and referenced mention in the production section. Given your edit summary "Rv, no mention of her being given a role or just a cameo appearance; all we know is she just filmed.
" you may wish to make the rest of the article consistent. I'm not generally following this article, I was just cleaning up after an IP vandal when I came across it. Geraldo Perez (talk) 13:42, 21 October 2015 (UTC)
- @Geraldo Perez: Oh, I understand. I thought you were apart of the article. All we've known so far is that Selena Gomez has filmed for the film. That's it. Is it a main role? A cameo? A minimal role? We don't know. That's why adding her is rather unsourced. She should only be added until she is confirmed a role of any kind in the movie. I hope that makes it clearly? I am open to suggestions. I will clean the article in regards to this. Callmemirela 🍁 {Talk} ♑ 22:52, 21 October 2015 (UTC)

Hi there,
This is the 3rd time this page has been turned down for notability issues. Can you suggest improvements to the page and sources? The section for notable achievements indicates honors and recognition for the organization's economic impact to Alberta and Canada.

@Callmemirela: Hello, Callmemirela! It is nice to meet you. Your help in improving the page for Criminal Minds (season 11), specifically the episode section, is much appreciated!I'm glad you kept me on my toes about putting the episode summary in my own words, so as not to violate any copyright laws; for that I'm quite grateful to you. Criminal Minds is, by far, my favorite show and I love to help keep fellow fans informed.
However, in my entire time editing Criminal Minds pages - which has been a little while; while I am fairly new to Wikipedia, this account was created with the (2) at the end because my previous account of the same name was inaccessible because I forgot my password lol - I have not once, by any editor, been asked/required to provide refernces for the production codes. Title, writer, director, and air date absolutely require references! But the production code is usually confirmed in one of the references whether it be title, writer, director, air date or any combination therein, added to the fact that the air dates can help determine the order in which the episodes will air, they are almost always confirmed.
Although, I have come to understand there can be an exception in which the production codes can serve quite useful! This is when episodes air out of order, an example of which would be in Season 10, 1006, "Boxed In", was aired before 1005, "If the Shoe Fits", because "Boxed In" was the Halloween episode and it was scheduled to air on 11/05 whereas "If the Shoe Fits" was scheduled to air on 10/29; to resolve this, they merely switched their air dates, however, the production codes remained the same, therefore letting people know that they were aired out of order to accommodate Halloween. In that case, I believe it was briefly required to include references with the production codes. That, however, was the only time I've ever been required to provide a reference for a production code.
I've posted references for all of the upcoming production codes to satisfy your need for me to do so and prove to you that I would not post those codes without knowing that their validity can eventually be found through other references. In conclusion, I absolutely agree with you that I needed to avoid violating copyright by denoting the summaries in a vernacular (lexicon; vocabulary; my own words) more unique to me, basically, to make them be more so in my own words, but I don't agree that the production codes need referencing. You are the first person who has ever asked me to do so. I do want you to know, though, that I always use reliable references for my episode title, writer, director and/or air date contributions, and that I take copyright violation (avoiding it!) very seriously!
I really appreciate your willingness to help make the page as accurate as possible; that is my objective as well. I just don't think that it is necessary to reference the production codes, since all episodes have aired in order, thus far, and we (the fans) have been given no reason to believe they won't continue to do so. When it is required due to scheduling changes, I'd be happy to post it. I hope we can resolve this minor misunderstanding. Happy editing! Bef3481(2) Bef3481(2) (talk) 19:46, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
- @Bef3481: Hello. I reverted your edits because, yes, the production codes were unsourced. Not every episode has follow-up codes. For example, Episode 1 has 1101 then episode 2 has 1102, but episode 3 has 1106 (made up, not realistic). I checked the sources you added, and they didn't include any production codes, unless of course the main source is The Futon Critic or any press release at the RTitle section. Everything in an episode has to be cited, except the summary and if RTitle is cited to give everything (date, director, writer, etc.). I work on a lot of TV show articles, and I know this from experience. I hope this clarifies what I told you? Callmemirela 🍁 {Talk} ♑ 00:22, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
