1967-1970 Ford Mustang Edit

The 1967-1970 Mustangs did get bigger. I'm not disputing that. They DID get more powerful,much more so. Just because something is referenced that makes it true? If there is a webpage somewhere that says that '1967-70 Mustangs got bigger but not necessarily more powerful.' It's okay to leave it on there. I disagree. That statement is blatantly false. Did you compare any engine horsepower numbers across the years before re-posting what I deleted? Please don't remove my additions to "Light Truck" without asking. The article asks for improvements in citations, etc. The changes were sourced properly and add to the body of knowledge. Therefore you should respect the work and discuss before removing, even if you have a personal dislike for the information. If your personal views are overwhelming, please discuss before acting impetuously. Also, if you don't like the image, use a better one rather than deleting just because you don't like it.

Fuel Consumption

What kind of mileage increase (if any) did you see with the upgrade to the fuel injected engine? What was the reason for swapping out the original 4.2 engine? Have you any trouble with the 4.0 such as header cracks or leaking injectors? Thank you for your suggestion and evaluation of my contributions to Wikipedia. As you can check, I have added referenced information to many articles. Therefore, I am not sure what you mean by "moving text around." In most cases, new or expanded material needs editing of the existing sentences for proper context, grammar, and even entirely new paragraphs. By design, Wikipedia is not static, nor do I have "ownership" as you claim. Your contributions to improve the text and enhance the articles are encouraged. Cheers! Thank you asking for further explanation concerning your contributions and edits. I would encourage you to again review the guidelines for Wikepedia articles. In particular, the standards that pertain to adding content to articles. Contributions must be in a formal tone and encyclopedic style. This means no opinionated writing or discussion-type commentary. Your contributions to the muscle car article included unreferenced opinions about particular models, factual errors in describing available engines in certain models, emphasizing a pony car as the first image in an article about classic muscle cars (which are defined with citations as "family-style mid-size or full-size car designed for four or more passengers"), repeating some information that was already described about the decline of the muscle car segment in a later section about their rebirth, adding discussion or examples of cars but not ordered chronologically by model years with the existing and ordered material. Moreover, please be aware that opinions and unreferenced material will be deleted. Another example was your addition to the Plymouth Prowler article that was a speculative "could have been if" unreferenced comment and personal opinion. There is no option to include a discussion concerning things that did not happen alongside the topics of the articles. Wikipedia articles are not an open forum for enthusiasts to contribute their thoughts. In short, Wikipedia articles contain only straightforward "just-the-facts" information ... and it must be supported by appropriate unbiased references. Individuals devote countless amounts of time to their edits. It is not unusual to research and reference even minor details for many hours. I hope this will help guide you to improve Wikipedia! Spinner (wheel) Modrn Concept

I do not understand about your withholding of information about the Modern Concept Spinner Wheel. You have 14 lines of text about a simple hubcap, a complete section on music, and yet you have only 4 lines focused on the complexed Modern Concept spinners that has 5 different types of wheel spinners that can be used in 3 different manners. There are also many people wondering how they came about and the introductory to the public and market and why they were called Sprewells when Latrell Sprewell had nothing to do with them, yet his name comes up about spinners in rap songs, which that you might concern yourself with since your Music section on the Spinner Wheel is just about larger than the section on the Modern Concept.

On your 4 text lines of the Modern Concept you only cite two cites and they are BOTH from the same identical source that was published back in 2008 which means it was written in 2007/2006 almost ten years ago and at a minimum is far from a complete Modern Custom Car based writings. One of your cites is a completely dead site on the web, not 404 just completely dead, non-existent. Then another one of your cites are directing and diverting people where to go to buy tires which even with as little knowledge as I know about Wikipedia being a beginner, is completely against their rules and not allowed.

You stated the edit was "Too heavily biased towards the modern decorative device. This is an article about wheel spinner history and types. A section already exists about the more recent version". It was not biased it was very informative and had all functioning cites (unlike yours) to back up every word with in it. There are several modern concept spinners not even mentioned or being allowed to be mentioned by you. On a side note, the popularity is starting come back again.

Reading your Talk Page I see that, even though Wikipedia is to be Shared information, it appears this is more than just a hobby to you, as you seem to believe that all knowledge starts and stops with only your knowldge and what you know, thus anything past that you police and remove. With you redirecting cites to business web sites it seems Wikipedia may be a revenue source for you as this seems to be all you do.

I would try and remember if I were you and truly cared about what I was doing and Wikipedia, that other people wish to go beyond the knowledge of that which you hold. As for "overly biased", after reading the Talk Page on Spinner (wheels) it appears that you are the one that is extremely biased about this subject and page section.
