Football statistics

Hi, many thanks for taking some interest in updating the infobox statistics for footballers. It would be useful if you could set the timestamps for the changes at the same time as you change the appearance/goal figures. There is a field name |pcupdate= or |club-update=, usually at the bottom of the template, that should be changed. The equivalent for international matches is |ntupdate= or |nationalteam-update=. All you have to do is replace the contents of the field with 5 tilde characters, ~~~~~, which when saved will be converted into the date/time of the change. Regards. Updating statistics on footballers

Please ensure that you aren't changing statistics that are already correct. I have been through a couple of your edits so far and you are adding cup appearances and goals on top of league appearance and goal statistics for most Middlesbrough players rendering them incorrect.

Please keep in mind that the statistics on the right of a player's page (the ones you are editing) are for the league appearance and goals statistics only.

Please refrain from adding cup statistics in the future. 08:39, 12 October 2014 (UTC)
