Hello Brennanmense. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Brennanmense. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Brennanmense|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Praxidicae (talk) 10:55, 12 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

{{Re|Praxidicae}}Attempted to put {{paid}} code into the article and I was constantly given an "incorrect code" message. I instead inserted a {{Connected contributor (paid)}} tag as was requested. I have disclosed paid contributions as requested (Brennanmense (talk) 15:12, 12 July 2020 (UTC))[reply]
You need to follow the instructions for your userpage and you need to refrain from editing the article and you must request changes on the talk page rather than instituting them yourself. Praxidicae (talk)
I have added all paid disclosures and where I obtained the work on my user page. I currently have no other content to add on either page. The second article I was paid to write from scratch has been submitted through the AofC as is required.

Your draft article, Draft:Jerrold Smith II

[edit]

Hello, Brennanmense. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Jerrold Smith II".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 18:44, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited KCWJ, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Spanish. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:57, 21 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Joe Calfapietra

[edit]

Hello, Brennanmense,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username MPGuy2824 and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Joe Calfapietra, for deletion, because a consensus decision previously decided that it wasn't suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. If you wish to restore a page deleted via a deletion discussion, please use the deletion review process instead, rather than reposting the content of the page.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|MPGuy2824}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
