Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Exodus22cover.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Exodus22cover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:11, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
Proposed WikiProjects merger?
[edit]I made a proposal on the Christian music portal because I noticeed that several independent WikiProjects related to Christian music all had very small memberships (or at least only a few active participants). My proposal is to merge as many of the WikiProjects together as possible into one WikiProject (probably entitled Christian music WikiProject with task forces for each genre (Contemporary Christian music, Southern Gospel, urban contemporary gospel, etc.). The other option I proposed is to make Christian music as a whole a task force under the Christianity Wikiproject. Please share your thoughts on this issue on the discussion page on the Christian music portal. Absolon S. Kent (talk) 02:50, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

Wikipedia policy allows us to link to legal streamed copies of albums. It would be useful to draw up a guideline on how and when to link to such albums; however, there is concern that it may not be appropriate as the music would not be available in all parts of the world. Is the benefit of having access to the music for most users outweighed by the fact that some users will follow a link to find the music is not playable in their region? Your view would be helpful at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Albums. SilkTork ✔Tea time 01:55, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Detroit vs. Minnesota - April 1, 2013
[edit]Hello Boredwibilly,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Detroit vs. Minnesota - April 1, 2013 for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Rubaisport (talk) 05:10, 2 October 2013 (UTC)
Moved to userspace
[edit]Hey, I moved the article to User:Boredwibilly/Detroit vs. Minnesota - April 1, 2013. I saw that all you have is a box template in the article and we need more than that to have an article. I don't know that we do articles for specific games unless they're overwhelmingly notable. Most of the time they're listed in articles such as this one: 2009_American_League_Division_Series#New_York_vs._Minnesota, but in subsections. I didn't know if this was a specifically notable game, so I transferred it into your userspace just in case. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 06:20, 2 October 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for May 4
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Johnthan Banks, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page MSRA (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:23, 4 May 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Your recent editing history at May 11 shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. [edit]Hi. There is a general understanding that events aren't added unless they are of international significance. An international hockey tournament might qualify, but the activities of an individual club within its own region would not. I don't necessarily agree with everything that is currently "the rule", but it's been achieved by consensus. See Wikipedia:Days_of_the_year, Wikipedia:WikiProject Days of the year, and the Talk pages for both of these, if you want to contest this. It's possible some people may support your case. Deb (talk) 07:31, 12 May 2018 (UTC)
- Oh, and don't forget there are month articles, e.g. May 1968, where addition of such entries is positively encouraged! Deb (talk) 07:33, 12 May 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Logan Misuraca moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Logan Misuraca, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
