A belated welcome!

[edit]
Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, BlackPango. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! Rubbish computer (HALP!: I dropped the bass?) 11:27, 23 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

Request reason:

I have no idea what this is all about. I didn't created this account to violate any Wikipedia rules and I don't have multiple accounts. BlackPango (talk) 21:33, 7 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

(1) It is perfectly clear that you either have used multiple accounts or are one of a number of people all acting together, so that your claim that you "have no idea what this is all about" is totally implausible. (For what it's worth, it seems to me more likely that you are one person rather than a group acting together, but it actually makes no difference.) (2) Your editing history indicate clearly that you either are a person who you have been editing about, are working on behalf of that person. You have also made one or more statements which clearly indicate that you have been acting in cooperation with that person, so that if you haven't then you have deliberately made misleading statements to give the false impression that you have. This means that you have either been dishonest in pretending to be acting with that person, or you are now being dishonest in denying doing so. In either case, we cannot trust you to edit honestly in future. (3) Even if we were to accept your denials of sockpuppetry and conflict of interest, your editing has been disruptive in various ways, including editing to promote a point of view and to suppress content inimical to that point of view, edit-warring, and removing content without giving any reason, or for absurd "reasons" such as that the law requires actors' dates of birth to be removed. Unblocking you would clearly not be to the benefit of the project. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 17:46, 8 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Easy there, JamesBWatson! You're throwing about accusations without proof or justification. I made a few edits and you all go ballistic! What the hell is going on here? The edit about DOB was info from a public article I read about actors and quoted it. Take it or leave it or better yet, discuss it in a civil manner. I don't appreciate being attacked like this. You don't know me and your assumption of me is baseless. I have no conflicts of interest nor have I been disruptive. If you don't agree with an edit, remain calm, civil, and discuss it rationally. Ask questions and wait for an explanation. Isn't that what the talk pages of articles are for? You owe me an apology and an immediate unblocking. BlackPango (talk) 20:56, 8 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

This unblock request does not address the main reason for block, which is WP:meatpuppetry. Vanjagenije (talk) 23:31, 12 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I can't address something I know nothing about. BlackPango (talk) 01:12, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You clearly have a conflict of interest here. Would you care to disclose it?

No conflicts. BlackPango (talk) 00:18, 8 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
