CSD A7 on Zaya Younan
[edit]Hi, I wanted to let you know that I have challenged your WP:CSD A7 on Zaya Younan. In my opinion, the article makes several claims of importance, furthermore, it is sufficiently referenced to make a plausible claim for notability, which is a much higher standard then criteria A7. Remember that all an article must do to avoid criteria A7 is make a claim of importance, having a reference to an independent reliable source that discusses the subject is clearly such a claim. [edit]Hi Zayya. Thank you for your work on patrolling new pages and tagging for speedy deletion. I'm just letting you know that I declined your deletion request for Sargon Dadesho, a page that you tagged for speedy deletion, because the criterion you used or the reason you gave does not cover this kind of page. Please take a moment to look at the suggested tasks for patrollers and review the criteria for speedy deletion. Particularly, the section covering non-criteria. Such pages are best tagged with proposed deletion, proposed deletion for biographies of living persons, or sent to the appropriate deletion discussion. Monty845 16:14, 2 October 2011 (UTC)

- And you just all happened to converge on the same articles like Rosie Malek-Yonan, George Malek-Yonan etc. and back each other up concerning ethnicities? Do you really expect us to believe that there is no collusion there? Meatpuppetry is a deceptive practice.
— Berean Hunter (talk) 17:03, 16 May 2015 (UTC)- Yes we do discuss Assyrian issues, Assyrian people particularly issues concerning Assyrian ethnicity. Surely that is not a crime? Zayya (talk) 18:39, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
- Crime? No. Against policy? Most certainly. —DoRD (talk) 18:41, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
- I haven't done anything against policy.Zayya (talk) 18:52, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
- In that case, I have changed the block to indefinite. You will need to have a working knowledge of this policy before you will be able to proceed with editing. Ignoring policy won't work.
— Berean Hunter (talk) 19:06, 16 May 2015 (UTC)- Clearly you can exercise your power to block me indefinitely even though you are wrong. I've been contributing here since 2005. I will not be accused of something that is not true. Zayya (talk) 19:19, 16 May 2015 (UTC)

The article Alfred Rasho has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. jlwoodwa (talk) 22:32, 21 July 2023 (UTC)
