Information icon Hi Biuc! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of This Morning (TV programme) several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:This Morning (TV programme), please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Belbury (talk) 18:23, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. A tag has been placed on Alison & Dermot requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, society, or group that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Presenting Duos

[edit]

Hi. I am not sure that the articles you have created contain anything that is not already in the individuals' articles, and that their notabilities as duos have any notability outside of their individual notability. Escape Orbit (Talk) 15:39, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Some suggestions

[edit]

Hi. I recently moved one of your new pages to draft space at Draft:Alison & Dermot.
I notice that your account is very new and you have jumped straight into creating a bunch of new articles, many of which have been deleted or nominated for deletion, and all of which are inappropriate for one reason or another. I would advise you that creating a new article is difficult to do, especially when you haven't been around the encyclopedia and editing existing articles long enough to be familiar with policies like GNG - which governs which topics are suitable to have articles and which are not, or the reliable sourcing policy which tells you where to look for information to build the article, or the manual of style.
At this point I would recommend you stop creating articles, and instead take a look at this page that can help you find tasks suitable for newcomers that can help you build familiarity with Wikipedia and the way we do things here. Alternatively, since you seem to be interested in television, check out Wikipedia:WikiProject Television which can help you connect with other people editing in that area. Lastly, when you think you are ready to try your had at writing an article from scratch, I recommend using the Articles for Creation process, at least for your first article. I do hope you don't let this discourage you and that you stick around. Feel free to respond to this message or ask at the teahouse if you have any questions. ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 18:20, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
