I have sent you a note about a page you started
Hi Bgsu98. Thank you for your work on 2015 Turkish Figure Skating Championships. Another editor, Voorts, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
Please remember to tag redirects that you create per WP:REDCAT.

- @Voorts:, I am not familiar with tagging redirects. Do you have any suggestions? Bgsu98 (Talk) 01:48, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
- I recommend reading REDCAT and familiarizing yourself with the redirect categories (WP:TMR). I use User:Eejit43/scripts/redirect-helper to make the work of tagging easier. voorts (talk/contributions) 01:50, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
Are you doing WP:BEFORE searches?
Hi again, I notice your rate of deletion nominations hasn't slowed down and your rationales continue to be just "fails WP:NSKATE". Yesterday you added 14 AfDs and 4 more PRODs to an article alerts page I check, and at least one of the articles nominated pretty clearly passes GNG. It's hard to trust that you've done your diligence searching for sources as required by WP:BEFORE, especially for subjects where coverage would be expected in other languages, when you're asking to delete more than ten articles a day for more than a week, and your response to me above indicates that you may still see NSKATE as the end all vs GNG which it is not. Please slow down and refresh yourself on BEFORE and perhaps the notability guidelines in general. Hameltion (talk | contribs) 01:55, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
- Are you doing WP:BEFORE searches? I sure am. Thanks for asking. Bgsu98 (Talk) 02:01, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
- You've recently been issuing these prods in many cases at the rate of 1 per minute. I'm not sure how much of a WP:BEFORE search can be accomplished at this pace. Remember that if these subjects meet WP:GNG (requiring a search in reliable sources) but not WP:NSKATE (requiring a review of competitions), they're notable and should not be deleted. ~Kvng (talk) 16:25, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
- I guess we disagree with what qualifies as “significant coverage”. Bgsu98 (Talk) 16:30, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, that can be subjective and thus often requires discussion at AfD. If there is coverage in multiple reliable sources, it's not an uncontroversial deletion IMO and should go to AfD, not prod. ~Kvng (talk) 16:39, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
- I have no problem with that and will leave it to the community to decide whether they merit being kept or deleted. Bgsu98 (Talk) 16:40, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
- Please be careful about what you prod in the first place. 1 per minute is not careful IMO. You can't rely solely on me to catch your mistakes. I'm not sure how many incorrectly deleted articles the community is willing to tolerate in service of this cleanup effort. To be safe, I personally would rather we leave this stuff alone. I know that's not how everyone sees it. ~Kvng (talk) 16:49, 9 May 2024 (UTC)

Please for the love of all that is holy
Bundle your AfD nominations. The page is unusable with that many of the exact same entry.

- Kingsmasher678, I apologize; there will be no more AFDs in the near future. Bgsu98 (Talk) 04:32, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
Just adding a to this even though you replied; 50 AFDs in one day - this is considered disruptive editing. Some of them may be kept very fast. That being said, it was right of you to take a critical look at figure skating pages. Mind the volume though Geschichte (talk) 07:12, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
Thirding this feedback so there is a sense of community behind it. I follow the Women in Red article alerts, and even that curated selection is overwhelmed by your nominations. I recommend that in some distant future scenario to either bundle them or spread them out across days—just nominate a couple in a single day or something. Hydrangeans (she/her | talk | edits)
Yuna Kim A-class assessment
Hey Artemisialufkin, would you mind assessing this bio? I'd appreciate it if you did, here's the link: Wikipedia:WikiProject Figure Skating/Assessment/Yuna Kim. Best, Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 17:42, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
- Figureskatingfan, did you mean to post this on my page? Bgsu98 (Talk) 17:51, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
- Yah sorry, that's what I get for doing two things at the same time. My apologies, I cut and pasted from Artemisia's talk page without changing the address. My bad. Yes, I was asking you to assess Kim's bio. Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 18:36, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
