Its vs it's
Please note that you have been incorrectly changing its to it's. It's means "it is", while its is a possessive ("belongs to it"). ... discospinster talk 16:03, 3 November 2023 (UTC)

I agree that the page should be deleted. If a page meets speedy deletion criteria, you can nominate it for speedy deletion, as I have done. I recommend you use Twinkle which can handle technical things for you when tagging etc. Sungodtemple (talk • contribs) 13:06, 7 November 2023 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Beccaynr. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Divya Dwivedi, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Beccaynr (talk) 15:52, 16 November 2023 (UTC)
Cameron family
I hope that you will get this message. My amendment to David Cameron's family page was not frivolous or vandalism. His father was Ian Donald Cameron, who was born in London (as is also said on the same page) and not at Blairmore House. There is a matching birth entry on FreeBMD for the London birth and there is no matching birth on Scotland's People for a birth in Scotland. His obituary in The Daily Telegraph dated 9 September 2010 also says he was born in London. The entry contains a reference to Blairmore House from a newspaper article that is wrong. Blairmore House was the home of his paternal grandmother's Geddes family, though she herself was not born there. Ian's father was buried in a local churchyard (Haugh of Glass, Aberdeenshire). Without the Wikipedia expertise to amend the item including deletion of that reference I did not want to delete it but to confirm that it is erroneous, hoping that somebody with the expertise (you?) would pick it up and correct the Wikipedia article. We both want Wikipedia to be accurate and not to perpetuate a mistake. The article about David Cameron himself is also wrong, for the same reason, but that would have been even more difficult for me to amend, so I did not. If you need further information, do please contact me. Richard Renold 80.3.57.83 (talk) 20:39, 17 November 2023 (UTC)

You tagged the above article as WP:A3. That criterion is not applicable. You have limited experience on Wikipedia. I strongly suggest that you do not tag any pages for speedy deletion until you have considerably more.--Bbb23 (talk) 19:17, 1 December 2023 (UTC)
- Also, please do not continue to patrol new pages until you complete Zippybonzo's NPP training. There is a lot of nuance and a degree of experience needed to do patrol new pages effectively.-- Ponyobons mots 19:28, 1 December 2023 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Argentine Fencing Federation
Hello Begocc,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Argentine Fencing Federation for deletion, because it's a redirect from an article title to a namespace that's not for articles.
If you don't want Argentine Fencing Federation to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Grimace Shake quickfail
Hi Begocc! As a passing observer, I was surprised to see that you quickfailed Grimace Shake for GA. It seems to me that the article has changed significantly since the previous nomination, and that its focus on reception/controversy and its 1,000-word length could be justified depending on the sources available.
As such I would like to see a full review or at least a more detailed rationale. In particular, if you believe the article is not broad then can you present some examples of reliable sources that should be added? If you believe the article places undue weight on controversy then can you say which aspects should be more prominent? (I would say that reception should be the focus of Wikipedia articles as they are not product advertisements but tertiary sources, aggregating sources of the subject.) If you believe the lead is too short (though two paragraphs is standard under MOS:LEADLENGTH) then which aspects are missing? — Bilorv (talk) 00:33, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hello and thanks for telling me, im still pretty new to wikipedia, and i wanted to try to review good articles, but most of them were either too long or not something i can judge the missing parts for, so, i agree that i did make mistakes, as after a bit of time looking for sources i didnt find anything that wasnt already there, and also, i genuinely made a mistake reading the MOS,and the comment about the lead section, i admit, was horribly phrased. Thanks, :P Begocci (talk) 09:30, 30 January 2024 (UTC)

- I agree. Begocci, your reviews for Waluigi and Five Nights at Freddys were not in-depth reviews as is required by the Good Article reviewing instructions. Except in extremely rare cases - very few articles at the GA stage can't be improved in some way - this usually means making suggestions for improvement. Please go back to those reviews and provide a properly detailed rationale, including critique. Otherwise it is likely that the reviews will be voided. ♠PMC♠ (talk) 22:19, 5 February 2024 (UTC)

Could you start a GA discussion regarding Haile Selassie I? Its odd the page has thousands of views a day yet for over a month no discussion regarding it started? CtasACT (talk) 21:14, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
- Not sure what you mean..? I havent contributed to the article in any way so i cannot nominate it.Could you explain further? Begocci (talk) 07:41, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry for the late response, i meant that you might want to start a discussion on whether it meets the standards of a GA, i was the nominator of the article, so i can't start a discussion by my own to make it a good article, you as a third party should review the article with some others on if the article meets the criteria, so i was inviting you to be the first person to start the discussion on what to improve or support or decline it being a GA article. I am not saying to vote in support or not, i am simply asking you to start a discussion if it meets the criteria as a third party. CtasACT (talk) 23:26, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
- @CtasACT, Sorry, but im waiting to get familiarized with wikipedia and GA reviewing in general before starting to review again. And for the month long wait, its actually pretty standard for a nomination to wait for a long time.
For now, i suggest continuing to improve the article or sending it to Peer review. :D Begocci (talk) 08:41, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
Question from McPyrrho (12:38, 18 March 2024)
Hi! I just created my account today. I feel there should be an article about Heinrich Hunziker, a Swiss doctor who discovered iodine deficiency as the cause of goitre. Wikipedia says it is very difficult for newcomers to create a complete article. Also I don't know a great deal about Hunziger, so my article would start very small and then be gradually added to as I found out more about him. There is an article on him in German Wikipedia. How to proceed? --McPyrrho (talk) 12:38, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
- Hello! Thanks for asking. The first thing to do would be to create a draft about him, and start working from there, as in a draft it will likely not be changed by anyone except you.
Even if you dont know a lot about him,you still need to provide at least two Secondary, reliable sources (Sources that are independed of the subject) for the draft to become an article, and for that to happen, i suggest you submit the article to articles for creation, for it to be reviewed.
For more information (and the article wizard to create a draft), see Help:Your first article begocc questions? 12:55, 18 March 2024 (UTC)

Hello, could you please kindly help me move an article about a new video game https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/draft:Coryphaeus_Championships to mainspace, so it gets picked up by YouTube as a video game category? Would greatly appreciate it! --Tadidas (talk) 23:00, 21 March 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry for the late response, however the draft does not qualify for a wikipedia article yet. For it to qualify, you first need reliable sources to estabilish notability, and also keep the article in a neutral point of view. For more info, see this page. Hope this helps! begocc questions? 10:27, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
Rollback
Hi Begocc. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:
- Being granted rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or Ultraviolet. It just adds a [Rollback] button next to a page's latest live revision - that's all. It does not grant you any additional "status" on Wikipedia, nor does it change how Wikipedia policies apply to you.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear and unambiguous cases of vandalism only. Never use rollback to revert good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war, and it should never be used in a content-related dispute to restore the page to your preferred revision. If rollback is abused or used for this purpose or any other inappropriate purpose, the rights will be revoked.
- Use common sense. If you're not sure about something, ask!
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Fastily 20:23, 7 April 2024 (UTC)
City of Liverpool FC
Hi I am the Chairman of City of Liverpool FC. I made some changes to our pages this morning, which you have deleted.
I added words to a paragraph that itself has no citation, but yet that has been allowed to be added to our page. I was merely clarifying the club's position. I think this would fall under "right of reply" to the incorrect comments already posted.
I also deleted a very out of date squad list. But you have re-added it, even though it clearly states that it is a squad from 2022.
Can you please re-instigate my initial addition (the original comment does not have a citation). 2A02:C7C:2CB2:1300:5C4D:3539:3FA1:7D0B (talk) 13:48, 9 April 2024 (UTC)

Reverted changes to article "Susanna, Book of Daniel"
I made a change to the article Susanna, Book of Daniel that you have reverted. The change is in accordance with the source cited, the original music score of composer Carlisle Floyd, so I do not understand why the change was reverted. I find it highly damaging to use the word "seduction" in cases of clear rape, as it instigates rape culture, and would like to know why you choose to uphold damaging practices instead of calling it out in plain sight. In the story of Floyds Susannah, Susannah is raped by the travelling preacher, not seduced, and I suggest we call rape by its name in stead of disguising it as "seduction". 195.139.201.141 (talk) 07:37, 11 April 2024 (UTC)

Hello, you said I removed content and that my removal was reverted. I didn't remove any content, I added the citations that were requested in the Military section and deleted the notice that citations were needed. Is this what you reverted? Eplybon (talk) 14:12, 16 April 2024 (UTC)
- In the diff,it just looked like you removed a seemingly useful template, and i only saw that you deleted something, not the citations. Rollback also rolls back all the contributions made in a row, not just the one i saw. Sorry for the inconvenience. begocc questions? 14:16, 16 April 2024 (UTC)

A specific user is doing minor vandalism
Hi Mr Editor,
I noticed that a specific user "Gothicheights65" has been making changes to a page "Murder of Ankita Bhandari". A lot of information added by him hints towards some sort of bias. In of the edits, he mentioned about "The theory is supported by some texts sent through Bhandari's phone." But this edit is not supported by any citation or actual information.
I would request you to please check the activities of this user and ban the user "Gothicheights65"
