To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}}
on your userpage.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
Block based programming language moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Block based programming language, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
The specific issue here is that we need (reliable, independent, in-depth) sources about block based languages as a category, not just individual ones in isolation. Are there any journal articles about the emergence of this category of languages? Articles in specialist teaching/parent/child psychology publications about the benefits of these languages for child learning? Who coined the term, when, and what did they define it as? — Bilorv (talk) 09:34, 8 September 2021 (UTC)
