Do not revert editors without explanation

[edit]

For future reference, do not revert editors without explanation as you did here. You have still not asserted how this Billy Joel release is notable. Notability is not inherited—meaning releases by famous artists are not notable just because a famous artist put them out. See WP:NALBUMS. One source, a WP:PRIMARY one, by the way—is not enough to sustain an article. I suggest you add sources establishing the subject's notability promptly or your article will be nominated for deletion. Sorry. I wasn't given any explanation why it was deleted. I'm trying to find sources, but every time I make progress, the article is gone when I go to edit it. Baron Crimson (talk) 13:14, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Billy Joel is the only artist to play both Yankee Stadium and Shea Stadium. Both were notable enough to be filmed for concert videos, but only the Shea Stadium concert video has an article. I felt the Yankee Stadium concert video should have one as well. I'm having trouble finding official sources. The best I've found so far is a press release from Sony. https://www.sony.com/en_us/SCA/company-news/press-releases/sony-music-entertainment/2011/billy-joel-live-at-shea-stadium-the-concert-rockets-to-1-on-billboard-top-music-dvdvideo-chart.html. I've added this to the article and will try to find more references. Baron Crimson (talk) 19:30, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
