Hi! I really appreciate the things you are doing in Miss Supranational 2023, hope you have a good day! Hitsme (talk) 02:19, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Overlinking

[edit]

Did you read MOS:OVERLINK referenced in my edit summary (which you reverted)? Is it unclear to you why we don't link common terms, as you did here, or multiple instances of the same term (or both), as you did here? ☆ Bri (talk) 17:01, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am sorry, I was not aware that we do not link countries anymore, and since then I made sure to read MOS:OVERLINK.
Thank you for the information,
Ayocarty Ayocarty (talk) 15:34, 26 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Miss Earth 2023. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Please do not Wikilink countries per MOS:OVERLINK Sciencefish (talk) 19:50, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I am sorry. I did not understand MOS:OVERLINK until now.
Thank You,
Ayocarty Ayocarty (talk) 15:25, 26 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, you've slightly misunderstood not wikilinking countries in MOS:OVERLINK in regards to Miss Earth 2023. Normally the country link links to the relevant pageant, the problem arrises when there is no relevant pageant and it was just linked to the country. So CAN Canada is okay as it links to the pageant, but CAN Canada wouldn't be. Ideally the row header Country/Territory should say something like Country/Territory pageant, then there is no need for the country just the pageant link CAN Miss Earth Canada. Pinging @Bri: about this too. Sciencefish (talk) 09:38, 27 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, Good to know. Ayocarty (talk) 16:30, 27 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Mr.weedle. I noticed that in this edit to Miss Teen USA 2023, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Mr.weedle (talk) 03:38, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Miss World 2001, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lambayeque. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:06, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Daggers for dead people

[edit]

Hi, Ayocarty. Please do not use the dagger character or similar to represent that someone has died. We only use those in infoboxes for military engagements. Thanks. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 06:18, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Bri. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Miss Supranational 2023, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ☆ Bri (talk) 15:20, 16 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Bri

[edit]

I understand Bri, thank you for pointing it out. Ayocarty (talk) 17:30, 16 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

But after saying that, you went back and did this. Do you understand that these disruptive actions can result in consequences for you? ☆ Bri (talk) 19:27, 16 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I didn’t do anything though. I’m editing sourced content. Ayocarty (talk) 19:55, 16 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No, the date claimed for the event is still unsourced, same as the first time I removed it. ☆ Bri (talk) 20:29, 16 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

July 9th 2023

[edit]

Hello. I saw you added Hoorn as the hometown of Miss Universe Nederland, Rikkie Kollé. This is incorrect and has been corrected to Breda. Please check your sources THOROUGHLY, before changing and please leave an edit summary, no matter how small, which you consistently do not do. Thanks! Heidi bradshaw (talk) 22:59, 8 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I did not edit that, but I will let you know who edited it. It was edited by @IgorPolan0
Thank you for bringing it to attention though. Ayocarty (talk) 23:08, 8 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Editing

[edit]

I didn’t mean any harm with that statement. @Bri, I will add a source. Ayocarty (talk) 11:49, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Editing

[edit]

Stop making edits when you clearly know the winner of a contest, because you’ve watched it, but STILL ask for further proof! Also you need to fully explain your edits. No edit summaries are not good. Heidi bradshaw (talk) 17:54, 2 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Yngvadottir. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Ruby Franke, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Yngvadottir (talk) 05:44, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I see you have been told before, all information you add must have a reference where the reader can check that it's correct. This is particularly important with personal information in biographies of living people. Yngvadottir (talk) 05:44, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Still adding unreferenced content to pageants

[edit]

You are still doing it. Sigh. [1]. ☆ Bri (talk) 04:21, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I did not have time, I was in a hurry but was planning to add a reference to Sri Lanka’s withdraw soon after. Ayocarty (talk) 11:33, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not remove contestant rows from Miss Charm 2024. Instead, put Citation Needed. Thank you, Ayocarty (talk) 17:10, 25 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No sources AGAIN

[edit]

Again, you have added Information and not added ANY citation or references! You need to stop this! Heidi bradshaw (talk) 22:12, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sources???

[edit]

Again, no sources or citation? Reporting. Heidi bradshaw (talk) 22:18, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I was trying to add a citation needed, do you know how to add one of those? Also no need to be rude Ayocarty (talk) 22:56, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Just found out how to do it, thank you, I will be using it if I do not have a citation.
Thanks for the feedback, Ayocarty (talk) 22:58, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Formatting

[edit]

Ayocarty, do you not read the initial part of the editing source for Miss Universe? It clearly states how to use Sortname etc. You NEVER read instructions or pay any attention to what other editors have told you. Please stop editing when you don’t do it correctly! Heidi bradshaw (talk) 03:26, 28 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sortname is new for me, I have learned things from what other editors have told me and put a citation needed when necessary, as well as adding reliable sources sometimes as well. Thank you for reminding me about the formatting for the article as well and I will start to use it when necessary. Ayocarty (talk) 03:43, 28 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
