Photos

[edit]

They're brilliant! Nice work, and welcome! michael talk 23:56, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cheers! AtD 02:44, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Nice photos you have there. I too, take an interest in photographing spots around Adelaide. "Hey. If I don't do it who will?", is my attitude. But I enjoy it. It keeps me out of trouble. :P
You must have taken a risk by taking a photo of the entrance to the O-Bahn. Seeing as it is a busy road, and all :) But great photos, anyway. --Rachel Cakes 06:11, 28 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Risk? Nah, I was standing on the traffic island. It was a Sunday anyway. ;) AtD 07:23, 5 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Moving pages - don't cut and paste

[edit]

Hi AtD. The conditions of the GFDL require the history of pages to be kept so that all authors are identified. This history is lost in cut-and-paste moves like you did from Glenelg River to Glenelg River, (Victoria). I have deleted and selectively undeleted revisions and moved the pages properly (to Glenelg River (Victoria) - no need for the comma). Please try to follow Wikipedia:How to rename (move) a page or Wikipedia:Requested moves in future. You can see how we recover at Wikipedia:How to fix cut and paste moves. Thanks. --Scott Davis Talk 04:46, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good work

[edit]

I just wanted to type that you are doing a fantastic job on the article Glenelg, South Australia! Davtra 03:07, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! Feedback is appreciated, and does help motivate me. --AtD 03:41, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the feedback

[edit]

Hi AtD, thanks for the comment on Trams in Adelaide. For me the most interesting part is that I knew nothing about the tram system before I started on this a couple of weeks back....far more interesting than writing another FMEA report, or tying to use Excel for Advanced Planning & Scheduling. Fair use rationale for Image:HansenYunken.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:HansenYunken.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 00:03, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for Image:BSicon uKDSl.svg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:BSicon uKDSl.svg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Better source request for Image:HansenYunken.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:HansenYunken.png. You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talkpage. Thank you. OsamaK (talk) 19:36, 22 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Torrens Island.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 07:57, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wikify tag

[edit]

The wikify tag should be placed on the article page rather than the talk page. I've moved it for you from Talk:Social dilemma. Regards. -- Whpq (talk) 02:22, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No probs. I've been told the opposite before and have my cite tags moved to talk pages! --AtD (talk) 07:08, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Adelaidemetro logo.gif)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Adelaidemetro logo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:29, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Television schedules in network articles

[edit]

(spam) Hi, I noticed that you recently discussed on Talk:Seven Network whether current television schedules should be included in network articles. I have started a discussion about this at Wikipedia:Village pump (policy)#Television schedules in network articles. Please express any opinion you have there. - Mark 02:52, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article Hansen Yuncken has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Subject is not notable per WP:companies and organizations.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Oo7565 (talk) 18:52, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File:BSicon uSBRÜCKE.svg missing description details

[edit]
Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as File:BSicon uSBRÜCKE.svg is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors to make better use of the image, and it will be more informative for readers.

If the information is not provided, the image may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 16:47, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
