Speedy deletion nomination of Testoril

[edit]

Hello Aschetter24,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Testoril for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. bpage (talk) 01:30, 18 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Nactech gps requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. reddogsix (talk) 17:21, 14 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Binksternet. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to On Becoming Baby Wise seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 15:49, 25 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to On Becoming Baby Wise while logged out. Making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting. Note that the abusive use of multiple accounts or evasion of a blockage may result to you to have been blocked from editing Wikipedia. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. See this diff. Binksternet (talk) 23:45, 25 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Unique venues, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Information icon Hello, Aschetter24. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies.

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.

If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. Hello Aschetter24. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, and that you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to Black hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Aschetter24. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Aschetter24|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. Jytdog (talk) 15:52, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for starting to make the required disclosure at your userpage in this diff. You are however obligated to disclose your employer and the client for each paid edit you have made. If all of your work has been as an employee of Webimax, then you can complete the disclosure on your user page by adding the list of pages you have edited on behalf of Webimax, in a simple list. If the client is someone other than the subject of the article, please note that. Once you do that we will have to get the disclosure done locally at each relevant talk page. After we take care of this essential first step (disclosure) we can talk about the rest of the COI management process. But one step at a time. Jytdog (talk) 16:42, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of maintenance templates

[edit]

Please never do this again, on an article you have edited for pay. Thanks. Jytdog (talk) 18:58, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You have not completed the disclosure of paid edits requested above.

You may be blocked from editing without further warning if you make any further edits without responding to the inquiry you received regarding undisclosed paid editing. Jytdog (talk) 18:58, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

So you disclosed one client here, and then you went back to other stuff. I am seeking to have you indefinitely blocked now. Jytdog (talk) 19:47, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

What other stuff did I go back to? I just went and asked a question? My intention was not to offend. I'd like to be transparent and make this work.

Under the first notice above, I wrote this after you disclosed only the company you worked for, where I asked you to disclose all the articles you worked on for pay. After I did that, you went and removed the tag. After you went and added a note at the Marc Mani article talk page without completing the list of disclosures, I wrote the not above: (which I will copy/paste here since you apparently didn't see it): "You have not completed the disclosure of paid edits requested above.".
What part of that is not clear? That is a real question.
I was just about to click save on my request elsewhere to have you indefinitely blocked.
Please stop doing anything else in Wikipedia until you have fully complied with the PAID editing policy and learned how we manage conflict of interest editing in Wikipedia. Jytdog (talk) 20:01, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I listed out all clients and will now sit tight in accordance with proper procedure. Thank you.

I don't find that credible as a complete listing of edits you have made for pay. You also have added promotional content about yourself and the company you work for. And it is ludicrous to say you "helped" Wikipedia as a client. See the notice below. Jytdog (talk) 20:10, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
so you now have remembered a few more. Jytdog (talk) 20:37, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Seraphimblade Talk to me 13:37, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The article Hussain Al Nowais has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Bio material is entirely sourced to a Bloomberg thumbnail; fails to meet WP:NBIO.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ☆ Bri (talk) 15:20, 16 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
