Java collaboration
Hi Annas86/Archive 1! Starting today, the Indonesia Collaboration is Java. Come along and help make this an article worthy of the world’s greatest island. There’s a suggested to-do list on the the talk page to which you can add, or just pick a task. All sorts of tasks are required, Images, Citations, Research, Copy Edit; you name it, it needs to be done – this important article needs your help!! Regards -- Imoeng 08:35, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
Indonesia collaboration
Hi Annas86/Archive 1! It's the last few days of the Garuda Indonesia collaboration. Please contribute!!!
Also, could you please vote for the next fortnight's collaboration? Please vote down the bottom of this page. The collab for the fortnight will be decided this Sunday 26th (or Monday at the latest). By the way, we could also chose Garuda Indonesia for another week.
So please visit and help choose the next article. Any questions/comments, please let me know. I'd love to hear from you particularly if you have any good suggestions! :-) --Merbabu 10:24, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
- Hi again, Annas86/Archive 1! This fortnight we've chosen: >>>Majapahit Kingdom<<<. Please help in referencing, check my newly added headings, improve prose, diagrams, but most importantly is RESEARCH so we can actually grow the article. Any other suggestions for improvement, please leave on the article's talk page. Yes, please discuss on talk page!
- Also, can you please post suggestions for the following fortnight's collaboration. Please leave your suggestions at the bottom of this page. Hopefully i will remember to remind you to vote in about a week (someone else remind me!).--Merbabu 14:22, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
Hello there Annas86/Archive 1. For the next two weeks we have chosen >>>Indonesian War of Independence<<< for the Indonesia Collab. Also, please vote for the next fortnight. Maybe we should chose a stub article. So far, we have had already longish articles and they are therfore hard to expand. Here's a list of Indonesian underdeveloped articles: [1]. Please let me know if you have any suggestions (or if you do not want me to message you about the collabs). kind regards --Merbabu 12:49, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

- New collaboration...
Hello everybody. I’ve updated the current Indonesia collaboration to > > > Central Java < < <
This article’s not in a very good condition but such a significant part of Indonesia, the cultural heart of the Javanese. Please contribute! Thanks to all those contributed to the previous collaboration Sidoarjo mud flow particularly Indon.
- The next collaboration...
For the next collaboration in a fortnight, I’d like to try something different. Let’s chose a stub rather than an already well-developed article. Here is a list of Indonesian stubs to choose (there’s two pages). Please check the article's importance rating – let's chose an important and significant article that will appeal to a broad range of people. Please do not choose an obscure and/or esoteric topic that is not very important. Please place your nomination here.
Any questions, please let me know. Kind regards --Merbabu 05:01, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
Indonesia fortnightly collaboration = Jakarta

Hi, just letting you know that I moved the article you created, Indonesia squad 2004 AFC Asian Cup, to Template:Indonesia squad 2004 AFC Asian Cup (so that it can be used as a template,) and have requested the original page be deleted. OSbornarfcontributionatoration 05:23, 25 December 2010 (UTC)

Usulan untuk DYK
Salam kenal kembali.
Crisco 1492 (talk) 09:24, 1 September 2011 (UTC)

Sansan Fauzi Husaeni
Hello. Just to let you know I removed your BLP Prod from Sansan Fauzi Husaeni. As there were already three sources in the article, BLP prod didn't apply: see WP:BLPPROD#Nominating. Please feel free to add the ordinary proposed deletion tag if appropriate. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 09:18, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
PRODs
Hi there - I have contested a few PRODS you have added to Indonesian Super League players, as that is a fully-professional league, and they therefore meet WP:NFOOTBALL. If you disagree, please take to WP:AFD. Regards, GiantSnowman 11:02, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
Eka Santika
I have removed the {{prod}} tag from Eka Santika, which you proposed for deletion. I am leaving this message here to notify you about it. The player has played in a Fully professional league & therefore passes WP:NFOOTBALL see Soccerway If you still think the article should be deleted, please don't add the {{prod}} template back to it. Instead, feel free to list the article at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! ★☆ DUCKISJAMMMY☆★ 20:21, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Bondowoso United F.C.
Hello Annas86. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Bondowoso United F.C., a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Indonesian Premier League is the highest level of football in Indonesia, so as a member of this league. If you want this article deleted, either propose it for deletion or take to Articles for Deletion. Thank you. PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 12:23, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
- Hi. The DYK hook you proposed for this article — "... that have crushed Sukhoi Super Jet 100 have a permit to descent of the plane to 1,800 m in the area where there was a 2,000 m tall Salak mountain?" — is seriously ungrammatical and, in my opinion, stands no chance at all of being accepted in its current form. Can I, perhaps, help you rephrase this hook into acceptable English? If so, please try to explain in some more detail exactly what you are trying to say. — Richwales 00:43, 13 May 2012 (UTC)
- Yes of course, you can rephrase it. Super Jet 100 have a permit from the air traffic controller in the airport, to descent of (or go down) the plane to 1,800 metres right?. and there is a 2000m tall mountain, right? so what is the alternative hook? *Annas* (talk) 00:50, 13 May 2012 (UTC)
- Possibly something like this: "... that the Russian Sukhoi SSJ-100 aircraft which crashed in Indonesia on May 9 had been given clearance to descend to 6,000 feet (1,800 meters), even though it was flying near a mountain that was over 7,200 feet (2,200 meters) high?" — Richwales 04:43, 13 May 2012 (UTC)
- Thats good, but I withdraw from DYK nomination as the article has been shown in the news content at the wikipedia main page. so it is ineligible for nomination *Annas* (talk) 04:55, 13 May 2012 (UTC)

DYK nomination of Bandung Raya
Hi there. I was going to copy-edit the article, and review that the text in the article is backed up by sources (inline citations), but I realize that a lot of unsourced or own research. I have an impression, after reading through the article and most of the sources, that each reference only backs up the last sentance (Normal procedure is that the inline citation back up everything until last inline citation). Is that correct? For instance - in the sentance They compete in Galatama (first level football league in Indonesia at that era) until 1994, when Indonesia football association PSSI merge Galatama with Perserikatan into Liga Indonesia Premier Division.[2], the ref only covers the last parts of the sentance. Putting it in colors: They compete in Galatama (first level football league in Indonesia at that era) until 1994, when Indonesia football association PSSI merge Galatama with Perserikatan into Liga Indonesia Premier Division.[2], the red in unsourced and the green is sourced, and I could continue through the article with lots of "red text". I'm afraid you will need to make sure that every sentance is sourced to pass the DYK. Mentoz86 (talk) 19:10, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
- Hi, your red text They compete in Galatama (first level football league in Indonesia at that era) until 1994, was clearly explained in performance section. the clubs have a position (eg 17th place) in Galatama since 1987 until 1994, and the club have position in Liga Indonesia Premier Division since 1994 until 1997. So it means and we have a conclusion that They compete in Galatama (first level football league in Indonesia at that era) until 1994. Is it even a simple conclusion must have a referenced? if so, I'm afraid we will be over refencing. Thanks, Best Regards.*Annas* (talk) 05:39, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
- Well conclusions are for the lead. The text in the body of the article should be prosed. You don't have a source with a general history of the club in Indonesian? Mentoz86 (talk) 06:48, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
- No, most of the club in Indonesia dont have personal website (even this club is dissolved, no more news about this club). Reference is needed for something that doubt, unclear, maybe contested, or someone quotation. The fact that the club play from 1987 until 1994 in Galatama, and 1994 until 1997 in Liga Indonesia Premier Division is clearly correct. Inline citation only needed in the hook, not in all sentence. As I know, There is no boundary that conclusion only be use in lead section, it can be used in all section. *Annas* (talk) 07:09, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
- That was just an example, and I have no reason to believe it is incorrect. Thing is, it looks like you are trying to put a ref behind every sentance, which mean that all sentances without a ref behind it are infact unsourced. For instance the sponsorship-deals. Mentoz86 (talk) 12:12, 28 May 2012 (UTC)

Miangas
Hello Annas! Salam kenal. You're very good contributor, especially in Indonesian football. I just saw an article you've created. I think there is a problem. What makes Blogspot and Kompasiana reliable sources (since both of them are written by ordinary people, cmiiw, not experts in the field like geographer and journalist)? Actually, I'm also interested in football, but there are a little sources. So, I create biography and music articles. Redyka94 (talk) 10:56, 6 June 2012 (UTC)

- nama miangas dr menangis, klo ga salah penulisny orang sana jadi mungkin benar, logis pula. klo yg kompasiana ttg tentara, ya kita juga tahu RI kirim tentara ke miangas. Tapi jika redyka mau bantu cari sumber yg lebih terpercaya, saya berterima kasih. *Annas* (talk) 05:35, 9 June 2012 (UTC)
- Saya coba deh. Oh iya, cari sumber jangan lupa dari Google Books. Banyak juga tuh saya cari dengan keyword 'Miangas'. Redyka94 (talk) 07:06, 9 June 2012 (UTC)
- Bagaimana kalau artikelnya dirombak? Saya sudah bikin rintisan dengan sumber yg saya cari di Google Books, nanti digabung dengan artikel yg sudah ada. Yg penting kan kontribusinya, bukan join datenya. Rombakanny agak aneh, iya yang penting digabung. Di rintisan kamu, "on the same year ICJ bla bla bla". Padahal ICJ established in 1945, ga mungkin buat putusan di 1928. yg benar Permanent court of Arbitration bukan ICJ. Btw Redyka baru lulus SMA ya? *Annas* (talk) 10:14, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

Halo Mas Annas! Saya lihat di artikel Miangas susunan katanya sama seperti yang di The Jakarta Post. Seharusnya diubah dulu, soalnya saya pernah ditegur di DYK nom gara-gara persis kata-katanya. I wanted your opinion.
Sad to see that you have turned inactive. This AfD (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bandung Barat FC) could need the help of someone with knowledge of football in Indonesia, and that's why I came here. But as you look rather inactive, I'll look somewhere else. I hope I'll see you back editing soon. Cheers, Mentoz86 (talk) 10:37, 16 January 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry for late respond, I think its should be deleted, the club is not notable, local club never play in top league in Indonesia. Redirect it into Liga Indonesia Third Division seems awkward. As the club is a member of that league not that league itself, can you imagine if we create a redirect from Leeds United to English Premier Division?. *Annas* (talk) 08:54, 3 February 2013 (UTC)
- No problem, my respons was even slower :) I agree that redirecting is a weird choice. Here is another AfD where an editor with knowledge of Indonesian football is wanted: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2013 Indonesian Premier Division. :) Mentoz86 (talk) 10:30, 4 April 2013 (UTC)

DYK for working cabinet
Hi, Thanks for the suggestion but I haven't found a reference for the most-number-of-women fact. By the way, more than half the members are under 45, and it is also the first cabinet to have a female foreign minister, but I'm not sure those facts are interesting enough for a DYK... Ways to improve Quintus Fabius Vibulanus (consul 485 and 482 BC)
Hi Annas. I am in Australia, so hello to my neighbour!
In the article Quintus Fabius Vibulanus (consul 485 and 482 BC) I have two references to sources outside Wikipedia, so hopefully this is good enough to remove the tag you added.
Thanks.
--Urg writer (talk) 04:18, 4 November 2014 (UTC)
- Hi Urg, is this the references that you mean https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ab_Urbe_Condita_Libri_(Livy)?. I think, that is classified as wikipedia sources not other sources, CMIIW. Thanks. @NnAs (talk) 04:32, 4 November 2014 (UTC)

DYK for Evan Dimas
Hi Annas86, I think it needs a better picture that is inline with wiki rules to be a DYK article. If you find any it will be much appreciated. Thanks for nominating the article. Cheers!!. MbahGondrong (talk) 17:17, 4 December 2014 (UTC)
- Hi MbahGondrong. I am afraid, I can't find better picture. I hope you can expand the article to meet the size criteria for DYK. Your help to counter the issue that raised in this DYK nomination are more than welcome. Cheers!!. Btw, are you really Mbah and Gondrong? @NnAs (talk) 01:28, 5 December 2014 (UTC)
- Hi Mbah, what do you think about this picture? https://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berkas:Evan-dimas(crop).jpg @NnAs (talk) 02:47, 5 December 2014 (UTC)
- Hi, maybe you could ask the user that uploaded it and ask if it is a free license picture. As for your other question, does it really matter? Hahahaha!!! Im not both actually. Cheers!! :P MbahGondrong (talk) 23:29, 5 December 2014 (UTC)

WikiCup 2015 March newsletter
That's it, the first round is done, sign-ups are closed and we're into round 2. 64 competitors made it into this round, and are now broken into eight groups of eight. The top two of each group will go through to round 3, and then the top scoring 16 "wildcards" across all groups. Round 1 saw some interesting work on some very important articles, with the round leader Freikorp (submissions) owing most of his 622 points scored to a Featured Article on the 2001 film Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within which qualified for a times-two multiplier. This is a higher score than in previous years, as Godot13 (submissions) had 500 points in 2014 at the end of round 1, and our very own judge, Sturmvogel_66 (submissions) led round 1 with 601 points in 2013.
In addition to Freikorp's work, some other important articles and pictures were improved during round one, here's a snapshot of a few of them:
- Cwmhiraeth (submissions) took Bumblebee, a level-4 vital article, to Good Article;
- AHeneen (submissions) worked-up the Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 article, also to Good Article status;
- Rodw (submissions) developed an extremely timely article to Good Article, taking Magna Carta there some 800 years after it was first sealed;
- And last but not least, Godot13 (submissions) (FP bonus points) worked up a number of Featured Pictures during round 1, including the 1948 one Deutsche Mark (pictured right), receiving the maximum bonus due to the number of Wikis that the related article appears in.
You may also wish to know that The Core Contest is running through the month of March. Head there for further details - they even have actual prizes!
If you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article candidates, a featured process, or anywhere else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. Questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages or by email. Good luck! WikiCup 2015 May newsletter
The second round one has all wrapped up, and round three has now begun! Congratulations to the 34 contestants who have made it through, but well done and thank you to all contestants who took part in our second round. Leading the way overall was Cas Liber (submissions) in Group B with a total of 777 points for a variety of contributions including Good Articles on Corona Borealis and Microscopium - both of which received the maximum bonus.
Special credit must be given to a number of high importance articles improved during the second round.
- Coemgenus (submissions) was one of several users who worked on improving Ulysses S. Grant. Remember, you do not need to work on an article on your own - as long as each person has completed significant work on the article during 2015, multiple competitors can claim the same article.
- Cwmhiraeth (submissions) took Dragonfly to Good Article for a 3x bonus - and if that wasn't enough, they also took Damselfly there as well for a 2x bonus.
- LeftAire (submissions) worked up Alexander Hamilton to Good Article for the maximum bonus. Hamilton was one of the founding fathers of the United States and is a level 4 vital article.
The points varied across groups, with the lowest score required to gain automatic qualification was 68 in Group A - meanwhile the second place score in Group H was 404, which would have been high enough to win all but one of the other Groups! As well as the top two of each group automatically going through to the third round, a minimum score of 55 was required for a wildcard competitor to go through. We had a three-way tie at 55 points and all three have qualified for the next round, in the spirit of fairness. The third round ends on June 28, with the top two in each group progressing automatically while the remaining 16 highest scorers across all four groups go through as wildcards. Good luck to all competitors for the third round! Figureskatingfan (talk · contribs · email), Miyagawa (talk · contribs · email) and Sturmvogel 66 (talk · contribs · email) 17:03, 4 May 2015 (UTC)
WikiCup 2015 September newsletter
The finals for the 2015 Wikicup has now begun! Congrats to the 8 contestants who have survived to the finals, and well done and thanks to everyone who took part in rounds 3 and 4.
In round 3, we had a three-way tie for qualification among the wildcard contestants, so we had 34 competitors. The leader was by far Casliber (submissions) in Group B, who earned 1496 points. Although 913 of these points were bonus points, he submitted 15 articles in the DYK category. Second place overall was Coemgenus (submissions) at 864 points, who although submitted just 2 FAs for 400 points, earned double that amount for those articles in bonus points. Everyone who moved forward to Round 4 earned at least 100 points.
The scores required to move onto the semifinals were impressive; the lowest scorer to move onto the finals was 407, making this year's Wikicup as competitive as it's always been. Our finalists, ordered by round 4 score, are:
- Cas Liber (submissions), who is competing in his sixth consecutive Wikicup final, again finished the round in first place, with an impressive 1666 points in Pool B. Casliber writes about the natural sciences, including ornithology, botany and astronomy. A large bulk of his points this round were bonus points.
- Godot13 (submissions) (FP bonus points), second place both in Pool B and overall, earned the bulk of his points with FPs, mostly depicting currency.
- Cwmhiraeth (submissions), first in Pool A, came in third. His specialty is natural science articles; in Round 4, he mostly submitted articles about insects and botany. Five out of the six of the GAs he submitted were level-4 vital articles.
- Harrias (submissions), second in Pool A, took fourth overall. He tends to focus on articles about cricket and military history, specifically the 1640s First English Civil War.
- West Virginian (submissions), from Pool A, was our highest-scoring wildcard. West Virginia tends to focus on articles about the history of (what for it!) the U.S. state of West Virginia.
- Rodw (submissions), from Pool A, likes to work on articles about British geography and places. Most of his points this round were earned from two impressive accomplishments: a GT about Scheduled monuments in Somerset and a FT about English Heritage properties in Somerset.
- Rationalobserver (submissions), from Pool B, came in seventh overall. RO earned the majority of her points from GARs and PRs, many of which were earned in the final hours of the round.
- Calvin999 (submissions), also from Pool B, who was competing with RO for the final two spots in the final hours, takes the race for most GARs and PRs—48.
The intense competition between RO and Calvin999 will continue into the finals. They're both eligible for the Newcomers Trophy, given for the first time in the Wikicup; whoever makes the most points will win it.
Good luck to the finalists; the judges are sure that the competition will be fierce!
