Battle of Benghazi and areas controlled by the Shura council of Benghazi Revolutionaries

[edit]

Hello Shaltut,

some months ago, you wrote that you're from Benghazi and that the map is very accurate. However, there are now reports that claim that the Shura Council advanced in extense areas in the south and is coming closer to Suluq/Slouq. http://www.libyanexpress.com/benghazi-defense-brigades-advance-toward-benghazi/

This map shows that the Shura council holds no area in al-Qawarisha but in a quite big area south of Qaminis. To me, this sounds very strange and not really reliable.

Could you help us getting the recent situation more clearly?

Regards, Ermanarich (talk) 18:35, 20 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for your informations! I think I'll update the Benghazi map in a few days, when I find the time to do it. Do you have a source that Sultan is controlled by the Benghazi Defense Brigades? Arabic would be ok, too.

Hello there. While going through the edit history at Module:Libyan Civil War detailed map, I found that a lot of your recent edits didn't contain any sources. Per rules we have to cite sources for all our edits. This can be done by simply mentioning the URL source in the edit summary. You however have cited no source at all and made many changes. This is against the rules and repeatedly doing it can even invite punishment from administrators. I request you to reedit your recent edits along with sources. If you don't then I'll have to go through them all one by one and will try to find sources for them. If I cannot find one then I'll have to of course revert it. Therefore please, reedit yourselves. The article Ahmad al-Mismari has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable, fails WP:SOLDIER

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
