Template

User:Yume_no_Kishi/TMM-stuff, made from CCS template. Like it? 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk

Yeah, more. This template puts the page into "Tokyo Mew Mew" category. Of, course, I de-activated it for now, so after you move it into Template namespace, you'll need to remove ":" before the category. It also has links to the future two-part episode guide in a hidden comment - once the pages are created (look what I called them), this line will be put into template. 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk 00:51, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

You say you have a computer now?

"Hmm. I'm not so sure if there such be 1 template for the characters and one for the main article and the non characters ones." - Well, I'm not the person you talked to about that but apparently the Heroes (TV series) articles have such a thing - separate templates for certain aspects (episodes, characters, etc). I forgot if the Bleach anime articles had them... --Addict 2006 03:46, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

I said - I made this template from CCS template, and many anime-related articles (and not only anime-related) have templates very similar to this one. This template provides links from any article to any other related articles. It is also more compact than the TMM characters template. I think that template can be simply replaced by this new one, so that all articles will have one universal template, like many other articles... But... well... I tried to put this thing into articles, it looks nice there. Why have two templates - there isn't much stuff in TMM (heh, even Sailor Moon has a similar template, and there's much more characters and other stuff...). 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk 03:56, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
Everyone's used to the old template. I won't replace it myself. Especially since my friends don't seem to like it. ~_^ But it's still on my userpage, so if anything... 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk oh boy...you took Addict's nav-panel... do you need that black thing?.. why not make your own one?..
I'm not saying it's wrong to take his; it's just that it's redundant... I mean, I'm travelling between yours and Addict's pages, and see the same thing. And you could ask me... I know how to make templates... why are you being so mean?.. ;_; 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk
It's OK.
I've placed this thing into your own subpage - {{User:Angelofdeath275/Navigation}}. You can now use it as a normal template on all of your pages. 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk 05:36, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
Well, I suppose THIS is what you wanted to see, but, believe me, this looks much better... -_-;; 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk 07:12, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
And yet another version. In all three cases the two-part episode guide is in a hidden comment, can be put in by removing the markup. 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk 07:41, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
The reason why I wanted to make a combo template is because there are only five (or seven, if the episode guide is added) TMM articles that are not characters articles. Here is yet another version of the template - you can see that I put everything in just one line (the second line is hidden - episode guide again). So you now can choose between four templates ~_^. Or if you have any other ideas on what it should look like, I can make more... And you can actually try to put them into articles to see which one will look better there... 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk 14:52, 19 April 2007 (UTC) But before that... let's finish with some other things. I mean... you can upload pictures now... right?..

Please consider changing Tokyo Mew Mew template to use Template:Navbox generic, or if you prefer, I will discuss it and/or do it. Since you created it, I do not want to change it without your consent. (Discussion is on Template talk:Tokyo Mew Mew) - G.A.S 18:25, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

I have added a suggestion to Template_talk:Tokyo_Mew_Mew. (Seems like it required 2 templates, actually. Feel free to use them if you like.) - G.A.S 21:44, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

Looks like you got this reverted yourself already, let me know if you need anything else on it. — xaosflux Talk 12:12, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

Template...

OK, first of all, my computer went wrong again, and I'll only be able to use it from Sunday... if only the person whom I asked to deal with this thing will bother to come (he's just as lazy as I am... -_-;). So I can now be online only for a short period of time.

Now the template. Remember, I was working on it for some time, and it still remains on my user sub-page, along with all other versions of it.

You need to move it from there into the Template namespace. You create a normal template page - {{sometemplatename}}, I don't know what to call the template - and then copy the code from my sub-page into this template and save it. You'll get a normal template, and then you edit it to "unlock" the category (remove ":").

夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk 16:46, 20 April 2007 (UTC) How I hate seeing four rectangles in place of my signature...

Yume's stuuupiiid...

I just noticed one thing... I forgot to include Hime Azumi into the template... baka... where to put her now? She's not a Mew... seems that this section needs to be renamed back to "Heroines"... 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk 09:50, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

Hm... a generic template... don't like such things... and there is really no need to make a separate section for the non-characters' articles... there are only 5 of them... they're perfectly OK within one template... even if we add episode guide... look at the templates for SM or CCS, they provide links to every page related to the topic... 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk 06:14, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
Yes, we can use this thing if the template gets long... but... really, what else can we add to the TMM articles to make it that big? A manga chapters guide?...... 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk 06:29, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

If you think I'm doing this just because it is you, you're wrong. I'm actually just wandering through the Quick index pages, looking for stuff like nonsense articles, userboxes in the article namespace, etc. I do care for Wikipedia policies and quality of the articles, that's all. It's not just you. 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk
I've moved some more pages... not just your... And that could've been done by any other user, actually. You know how some people like to edit random articles, sometimes not even having an account and just appearing out of the blue? Same goes for copy-editing on another article - I do this work on other pages, too, and very often. Come on! You can't contribute alone to a Wikipedia article anyway: it's Wikipedia. Sooner or later there'll be more people editing your articles. Calm down, and do not give me an impression that you personality is actually more like Ichigo's than Zakuro's. ~_- 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk
*I* say you're more like Ichigo. Zakuro may be somewhat rude to people, but she always tries to analyze the situation first. Ichigo is the one who starts acting emotionally right away - you often behave like this. And yes, you can ask why I almost stopped working on TMM articles, and I'll say I simply need some... eh... changes. You see, it is dull to edit the same articles all the time. By the time I made the to-do list, I was already sorta tired of them. But I will come back to them eventually. I'm still thinking about improving them. Still protecting them from vandals. For why I do not contribute much - still not confident in writing. Though I like editing Wikipedia and talking here to you and other users - it's a good way to improve my bad English ^_^;. Your grammar is not perfect because of your carelessness, mine - because of the lack of practice. And, please, stop being mean. Mean people are difficult to talk to... 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk 18:19, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

Kirema Anima

Did you know that this term actually had its own article? The old version's here, I redirected it to Chimera Anima. But this thing amused me... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Yume no Kishi (talkcontribs) 06:34, 7 May 2007 (UTC).

RE

Wow, you have the anime now? That's good...

All things in the alterations sections should have references. I don't know how we can do it, though. Some things, such as Ichigo's age, have to have at least the citations from the manga (English manga, too), via the {{cite book}} template. It'll at least show that this stuff is not made up. For other things... don't know...

I'll think what else needs to be improved.

One thing I've noticed. The main TMM article lacks the description of the show itself, meaning its history and people who worked on it. Many anime articles have the staff listed. And - barely any mention of the manga, except for alterations. It should have at least the release information (like here). Not good...

夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk

Hey?

Look at my own version of the main article and the character list. What do you think of this stuff?

Yeah, I need to explain. The character list is a good way to quickly find basic info on all characters - instead of wandering through these 10-something articles. Suppose someone is looking only for some general info on the characters - ages, Japanese and MMP names, etc. He will have to search for it for hours! Same goes for a person who does not even know who these characters are... Therefore, the "get to know the main characters" section is still useful.
And the template is freakin' at the very bottom of the page, thus scrolling.
Anyway, I think at least the main characters should be listed somewhere, maybe just in the main article, the Tokyo Mew Mew team - the show is named after them... All others can remain in the template.
BTW, the CCS article does list the characters.
I marked the main article with the "under construction" template - you removed too much text from it. Look at what I wrote in my version of the page and say what can be added. It has some specific info on the manga/anime themselves. Only this time I would like you to just express your ideas on it rather than editing it - we seem to have different views on what should be in the articles...

One more question: since you moved the episode lists to the articles, may I remove them from my user namespace? because my user page just turned into a mini-website... and also there are these alternate versions of the template... do we still need them?

And one more dumb question. You know that combo attack performed by Ichigo and the BK in episode 46? Well, I just was wondering whether it can be count as the anime version of the BK's manga attack, or if it is something that was completely made up by the creators of the anime. Currently the article gives the impression that they're not related in any way... When I was rewriting the article, this section seemed strange-looking to me...
For manga citations: each variation requires a citation. I.e. if Ichigo is described first as 11, then as 12, two citations should be added. For the weapons/attacks - one citation per version as well. Same with Chimera Anima. And various notes in the manga, that were referred to but not cited.
Another thing - music. As far as I remember, only the OP/ED theme songs (in the main article) and character songs (in their articles) are mentioned, but nothing is said about the insert songs - there are only two of them, so maybe put some info on them, too?
夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk
P.S. Sorry for writing so much stuff on your talk page.

RE: your edits of TMM

Hi Angelofdeath275,

This edit refers: [1]

Do you really think it is necessary to add the pronunciation of the kanji (in the characters' names) to the table? I feel the names' pronunciation are already mentioned in the characters' articles and does not really add value to the tables' content.

RE your userbox: "This user tries to do the right thing. If they make a mistake, please let him or her know."

This edit refers: [2]

Sentence before: ("peach color" (桃色 momo-iro) does not refer to the color of the peach fruit — a peach's color is 肌色 hada iro)

After: ("peach color" (桃色 momo-iro). Though it this would refer to the color of a peach, it does not refer to the color of the peach fruit — a peach's color is 肌色 hada iro)

Your edit left an orphaned part, I have fixed it in the meanwhile.

(I will check back here for replies)

This seems to be more complicated than I thought.
It seems Reiko is mentioned on the cover of some editions of volume 1; REF ANN, TokyoPop — but not always; REF Worldcat advertisement, Internet Book Database, Librarything.
Reiko is not mentioned on the cover of volume 2; REF TokyoPop, Worldcat (With more info re authors), Internet book database (Red cover)

RE: Characters' pics

I would like you to know that I almost had a heart attack upon seeing what you did to the main article, and realizing that I'll have to rewrite it from nothing, since after that you left a note in my to-do list and disappeared, leaving a freaked out Yume to do something with the article that became completely useless. Thanks to G.A.S, it now looks normal... So I would really like if you don't move stuff around without discussing it first, if there's nothing to replace it with. I mean, before cutting out a huge section, it makes sense to expand the article a bit, so that it won't become too short and with no useful info. In case of Tokyo Mew Mew, I wanted to add some info anyway, so the fact of the article being practically turned back into a "stub" (by you) only made me do it immediately and without much discussing of the new content. But... Seriously, I was scared by what remained of it. You don't want Yume to die, do you?..

By "manga pics" I originally meant pics of the Mews performing their attacks, since Pudding's, Zakuro's and Berry's articles don't have pics. But to look at them, these pics also show what the characters look like in the manga version. The Blue Knight's and Kish's articles do have the manga pics of them, so I thought it would be good to find manga pics for other characters (the three boys, Pie and Tart, Deep Blue...). I don't know if it's possible, though...

Speaking of the manga... you know that "Manga" section I added to the main article (which actually should've been added much earlier)? Well, it obviously lacks info, such as the chapter count for the volumes, so I thought that maybe you can add this stuff (Sailor Moon manga article does have this thing). Since I don't have the manga, I can only add info taken from random webpages, and there isn't much, actually.

Also, I was thinking if there can be some note about plot differences between the manga and anime. I believe there are some differences, and if there's something really notable, it could be mentioned. Just a short paragraph would be nice.

On an interesting note, I'm having Internet problems as well, so I can't be here for a long time. Hopefully, I'll be back on Tuesday, or maybe even earlier. I'll try to search for more sources, since I know many TMM sites, and some of them have interesting info.

Please help with the content — The article is still lacking a lot of content. I can only help with formatting / wording / references / research, but cannot add new content to the article (Since I do not know what is important enough)
I have came up with some ideas though: (Please discuss with Yume as well, I have mentioned these on her talk page originally)
    • Differences between the anime and Manga (See external references I found on Yume's page)
    • Something can be mentioned about the viewpoint of the Anime (For instance, most of the time the story is told from the view of Ichigo, except in Lettuce's Love),
    • It was mentioned before that the show had a environmental side. This may need expanding somewhere. (Maybe in Massaya's article?)

It's getting even more interesting now...

I was wandering through random Japanese and English webpages trying to find more references for the Tokyo Mew Mew articles. I've read much about the TMM manga and its differences from the anime, so I started to understand some things I've been wondering about since I watched the anime for the first time. If only I had the original manga...

Anyway, I've noticed something interesting.

  • Is it just me, or the page count in Tokyopop's manga does not match the original? Because I have scans of the first chapter of the English manga, and a fan translation of the same chapter, and the pages don't match. (I tried to insert citations from the manga.) If it is so, it'll make it more difficult to cite both versions. (Does the English manga have any additional pages at the beginning of the volumes?..)
  • Found some info about Tokyo BCG. All of Hime Azumi's attacks are originally written in kanji. I wouldn't trust the webpage where I found them too much, 'cause it actually shows the Mews' attacks with the word "ribbon". Yes, in katakana. (This is not the case, as we've already seen how they're written in the original manga.) The attacks are:
    • 撃必殺 花雷はならい乱舞
    • 豪華絢爛 ウルトラスターマイン
    • 満員御礼 昇り竜
(I have no clue how to read these kanji. One has to have the original manga, where the pronunciation is given (i.e. furigana))
  • Not just Azumi's attacks are in kanji. Here's one more...
    • 彗星藍玉斬
(You can probably figure out what it is. Again, I'm not sure what it is supposed to sound like...)
  • On the same page, there was a whole bunch of the Mews attacks from the PS game, but I doubt they're worth adding to the articles.

I'll try to find more interesting things... 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk

Nah, so Tokyopop did add random stuff to the manga volumes... I just noticed that in the English translation, the first chapter starts with pages 6-7 instead of 2-3. Seemed strange to me, because the first manga volume usually doesn't have any notes at the beginning, except maybe on the cover. For example, the first volume of the Sailor Moon manga (original edition) starts with the title page for the first act; in later volumes, there's always a two-page characters intro and sometimes some notes before the chapters.
This is bad. I mean, I sometimes happen to find scans/translations of the original manga, which may be useful for citing, but for the Alteration section we need citations from the English manga as well, and here I can't point out the exact page number, just because it differs from the original. Even if I know what is written on that page.

BTW, since I'm now in the "finding sources to cite" mode, I've made a list of things that require a citation. Here's the "English manga version" of it - for you. I managed to find some references, but there are still many left. When citing a manga book, one should point out the volume and the chapter (unless it is a comment from the authors or something written before/after the chapters), and possibly the page where the text is located. I'll probably find more references, but you'll need to check them.

  • Weapons/Attacks mistranslations
    • Mintoon Alo
    • Ribbon Lettuce Rash
    • Ribbon Lettuce Flash
    • Ribbon Zakuros Pure
    • Ribbon Zakuro's Pure
    • Ribbon Zakuro Pure
  • Ichigo's age mistranslation
    • 11 years old
    • 12 years old
    • Seventh grade
  • Chimera Anima
    • Called "Chimera Anima" in A la Mode (for "Kirema Anima" I added ref to the first chapter)
  • Random statements (these will be better if the pages are given)
    • Ichigo's battle costume comment (from her article)
    • Mews' weapons are supposed to be funny

Just if you happen to find some time to read your manga, look for these things (you asked how many citations we need, right?). More citations - less "original research". (And no one else is willing to add manga references... >.<)

Citations

I'll say one thing - don't place "citation needed" template on anything that can be taken from Anime News Network. We have this page in the "External links" section, so there's really no need to cite it left and right... though I did put some refs... 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk 09:04, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

Hi Angelofdeath275, just thought you may find this useful: {{Template:Autolink}}. Regards, G.A.S 11:35, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

I have a VERY stupid question (as usual)

Just was wondering if this worth adding...

When I was messing up with Deep Blue's article (i.e. adding a comment about anime ending credits, since I actually found this interesting), for some reason I remembered one picture I've seen on some webpage long ago (probably CafeMewMew.com). The picture was a scan from the last volume of the Japanese manga; it showed Masaya/Deep Blue (i.e. when Deep Blue's control on him was broken, but he was still in the alien form) holding Mew Ichigo (he says "Arigatou..."). The interesting thing about this pic was that, even though he still looked like Deep Blue (clothes, long hair), he had normal human ears, not pointy alien ears.

So, I suppose this is how the manga shows what the last two episodes of the anime show with normal/pale skin color (as the manga doesn't use colors)? (The anime shows him still looking like Deep Blue (even with pointy ears), but with darker skin - that's the last screenshot from the article.) If so, it actually could be mentioned somewhere in his article... just as a little difference between the anime and the manga (though there are reasons for it). What do you think? 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk

"What else needs a citation?"

  • The remaining things from the list above (that require a manga citation);
  • Almost everything from International adaptations of Tokyo Mew Mew, unless it is mentioned on the ANN webpage. This includes Italian adaptation.
  • Random statements in random articles that are marked with the "citation needed" thing; and I'll need some time to find other things that need a citation, to make a list.
  • Some things described in the characters' articles need references to specific manga volumes or anime episodes. I now prefer to use footnotes to indicate when does the event occur (volume/episode), especially if something important is said there - instead of mentioning it right in the text; this makes the text look less of a plot summary. Sailor Moon characters' articles are written this way.

RE your question

"whenever you make a list, where will you put it? THROUGH FIRE, JUSTICE IS SERVED! 13:15, 23 May 2007 (UTC)"

I will use in-line markers[citation needed], but will also make a list on Yume's TODO page, unless you prefer otherwise (please let me know) — G.A.S 15:11, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
Regarding your question, I will update the citations in a while. Regards, G.A.S 06:09, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
Update: Refer to my talk page. Regards, G.A.S 19:57, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

RE: "citation? this seem like something best for the english adaptation article."

This is regarding differences between the Anime and Manga. (Also refer to Yume's to do page and the French Wiki — the current article is still lacking a lot of details) Regards, G.A.S 06:09, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
Can you check if the English Manga lists Mint as age 11 at some point? (As this might be an example of another mistranslation — Also refer to Mint's talk page) Regards, G.A.S 09:49, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

Only Ichigo's age is listed. Whoever added that was assuming she was the same (incorrect) age as Ichigo. THROUGH FIRE, JUSTICE IS SERVED! 21:32, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

Yume's (original) research

[Side note]: I seriously doubt they are said somewhere, but I say it again - I've never seen any Japanese webpage stating that the ages are different in the manga and anime.

One Japanese fansite had this list:

  • 桃宮いちご=中1 (7th grade)
  • 藍沢みんと=中1 (7th grade)
  • 碧川れたす=中2 (8th grade) [sic - not the same as Ichigo and Mint]
  • 藤原ざくろ=中3 (9th grade) [sic]
  • 黄 歩鈴=小6 (6th grade) [sic]

This does match the ages given in Japanese Wikipedia:

  • Ichigo - 13
  • Mint - 13
  • Lettuce - 14 [sic]
  • Zakuro - 15 [sic]
  • Pudding - 12 [sic]

I've never seen Ichigo or Mint described as 11 on Japanese sites. Either 12 or 13. This doesn't surprise me, considering that they're usually said to be in the 7th grade (中1), where they can't be 11.

Interestingly, the boys' ages aren't mentioned on Japanese Wikipedia at all.

French Wikipedia has another opinion on this:

  • Ichigo - 12
  • Mint - 12
  • Lettuce - 14 [sic]
  • Pudding - 9 [sic]
  • Zakuro - 15
  • Masaya - 14 [sic]

Seems that the only way to get the correct info is to get the original manga... or we'll only be listing different sources that have different age listings... 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk 07:37, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

Just a Question

Hey, sorry. I just wanted to ask you something. Don't take this in a bad way because I'm not trying to start a fight with you. Well, on Ichigo's page I wrote something about how she could talk to cats in the trivia section because I thought it was important how she could do that and that it should be included. I noticed that you deleted it and I was wondering why. Again, I'm not trying to start a fight and I didn't add it to the article again because there must be something wrong with it, I guess. I just wanted to know what was wrong with it so I can avoid making that mistake in the the future. Ichigo's Momomiya's #1 FAN! 10:51, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

Okay, thanks for letting me know. I was kinda confused before so I just wanted to make sure I didn't screw up the page. I see where you put it now and that makes a lot more sense. Well, thanks again for answering.

RE Notes in TMM

Hi Angelofdeath275,

Full discussion Here:

It seems like we can split notes from citations in TMM, this is successfully used in Che Guevara. Should we do it, since it will allow for a better layout, esp. for the reborn vs ribbon thing, age disputes, references to colors in names, etc, etc. (i.e. in the main article we use the correct translation, and explain it below, without having to worry about it taking up too much space)

Regards, G.A.S 10:13, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Yea that seems like a good idea. THROUGH FIRE, JUSTICE IS SERVED! 15:55, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Please see Ichigo Momomiya for an example — what do you think? G.A.S 17:34, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

That looks much more better! Now it looks like it focuses more on Ichigo, than other things. THROUGH FIRE, JUSTICE IS SERVED! 01:51, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

And that is exactly what it should do.
Unfortunately it took a bit of manual coding, since the templates only provide for a 1:1 ratio, unlike the <ref></ref> system, but that is all done now.
We still got our work cut out for us. Also see that page, I have added a few websites there that may be useful for citations, with descriptions of their content. If you know of any other, please add them.
I think the characters still need an infobox, about like SM's: {{Template:Sailor Moon character}}. This makes sense to me since all characters has a profile section with the same information. This specific template can also be used in the characters' signature color. What info will be should it show? Maybe just the more basic info? (It seems to be rather standard on some shows' articles (with large articles)(BSG, Star Trek, Sailor Moon, Simpsons) I think useful items are family (linked to specific minor characters), English, Japanese names, other basic information. I know you were against it, but it may be time to rethink it, the characters articles have grown quite a bit since they were started and are usually paragraphs. I also think it is a good idea since a lot of similar characters exists with similar traits. And remember, an infobox per se is not a replacement for anything in an article, it provides useful links and basic infoG.A.S 06:17, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

The idea of an infobox was scapped a while ago because the profile section is too big to turn into a infobox. One IPer attempted to do that w/ Lettuce's and it looked awful. If there were to be an infobox, will there still be an profile section? THROUGH FIRE, JUSTICE IS SERVED! 13:31, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

I suggest that the infobox have no more than the main types of information, it cannot possibly (and should not) replace the profile section. (i.e. what the SM template has, maybe change fields with more relevant ones) (Also see italics in my previous edit).
Have a look at the {{Template:Sailor Moon character}} template. What is nice about it, is that it can take on the signature color of the character.
Regards, G.A.S 15:48, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
RE Should there be also a table of the kanji of colors? I mean, the blue knight and lettuce's kanji of color are not well known,

If needed, we can add references, but another table or column might be overkill. Regards, G.A.S 17:48, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

Infobox: Looking at their profiles, age, sig, color, birthday, grade(?), height, weight, BMI, animal, love interest and school hould be in the infobox. *trying to imagine infobox in article* hmm....yes, that would look better. THROUGH FIRE, JUSTICE IS SERVED! 23:18, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

I actually had only the basic information in mind: Names (Japanese: Normal, transformed. English Anime: Normal only - the mew names are only used once in the anime(?)) (Japanese, as well as the kanji and Romaji), dub name, birthday, age, family (appropriately linked), animal (appropriately linked). Regards, G.A.S 09:02, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
The other information is too trivial in my opinion. (Otherwise, where are we drawing the line?)

How about you add what you said should be added, and see how it turns out. Then we will worry about what be added/removed. THROUGH FIRE, JUSTICE IS SERVED! 13:26, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

Seems like it will have to wait for the weekend ... (Although {{Template:Infobox character}} seems to be a better base.) Regards, G.A.S 16:39, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

Yea, it is a good base. hmm....I'm going to try it out on Ichigo's article to see how it looks. THROUGH FIRE, JUSTICE IS SERVED! 00:52, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

These fields are needed exactly as used: Aliases, Species, Gender, Date of birth, Family, Created by, and the name with Japanese in the header, and I prefer the size of the used template more to Yume's/SM's. Yume has also created one (ref my talk page) and it has the fields Age range*, English age*, Voice actors#, which I think is *more useful than/#omitted from the current fields. (As well as the header TMM Char). If these were added to the current template (ie we create a new one), we would have the optimal solution. Regards, G.A.S 06:43, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
I've made a second version, will see if it is better. (Linked from User talk:G.A.S) 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk 07:35, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
I think I've finished working on the template - User:Yume_no_Kishi/TMM-ib-2 (instructions). Let me know if anything needs to be changed. It then should be moved to the Template namespace - {{Template:Tokyo Mew Mew character}}, or something like this... 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk 12:48, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
I am quite happy with Yume's template as it is now. — G.A.S 20:20, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

I wonder how long it took the person to link all the words, since it took quite a while to take it out. (Last time faster using popups.)

I saw the discussion, however it's not possible to give you a link for citation: the original thread went toast (along with the rest of the forum sans user accounts) several months ago. Unfortunately plenty of other stuff on both games that could otherwise be very useful for their respective articles also suffered the same fate in the process. --The Fifth Horseman 15:44, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Angel ender.png

Thanks for uploading Image:Angel ender.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 20:32, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Chole.png

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Chole.png.

Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template.
