Mourinho
[edit]Cheers for the referencing work on the article. It's good to have a season summary which actually encapsulates the important parts in a manager article. Many just seem to be blow-by-blow accounts of various "controversies" that season. With a bit more work this could be GA material. I've referenced the non-career parts and written up to Porto, so a bit of rewriting and referencing of the Porto and Chelsea sections should make it around GA if you fancy helping out! Recent revert to Muppeteer's in Serie A 2008–09
[edit]Before making the situation into edit war, I'd like to clarify some problems. You explain that MOS:FLAG explain why the flags should not be included. However, IMO, indication from MOS:FLAG only applied on a sentence, not a table. Despite it is very strange that he only edit for Siniša Mihajlović, his edit is very constructive, because he made me cautioned that the nationality of the person should be included in the table to show who he is. [edit]There are multiple news sports sites that have "stated" that Kaka has been bought by Real Madrid including the price and when they will anounce it, feel free to search it but please do not revert the curent status of Kaka for which that will be considerd vandalism. Okay then leave as it is because you can not take what has been said I dont care if you are an admin, you still behave like a child and cant be proven wrong I just hope Kaka leaves that idiot Italian team and go to a much high educated team like Real Madrid.
Orphaned non-free media (File:L'Unità frontpage.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:L'Unità frontpage.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. formatting for Serie B/C playoff tables
[edit]hi Angelo, i noticed that you added the "winner" parameter to the semifinal results for this year's Serie B playoffs. i know this is in keeping with the format used last year, but i'm wondering why we do this. since that parameter adds a green highlight, it's somewhat misleading given the table colors, as at a glance it makes it look like the semifinal winners have actually gained promotion. many other competitions that use the standard two-leg tie template just use bold to indicate winners. it might be best to save the highlighting for the finals winner. your thoughts? —Ed Cormany (talk) 14:26, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
- since you have a strong opinion, and it does follow previous years' formatting, i won't get too worried about it. —Ed Cormany (talk) 14:37, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

Zoltan Schinkednimedzic
[edit]Hi, Angelo Did you find any info on Zoltan Schinkednimedzic yet, because my local report still shows him on the roster as a transfer from a small Bosnian club. It lists him as a attacking midfielder/striker and reports that he is born June 8, 1989, meaning he is twenty. I did not want to add him to the roster because you said it wasn't on the team roster, but I was just wondering. Let me now if you get any thing. Serie A Kits and Sponsor
[edit]Hi angelo, I try to make Serie A page better (at least for me it look better), by adding kits and sponsor information, I got the source form wikipedia italian version, and then I go to the official website for each club to prove it, and then why you remove it ? I knew you said that we need some consensus ? What kind of consensus ? What else i need to do so I can add the kits and sponsor section on serie a 2009-2010 ? - I think we have to finally agree on a common layout for all those season articles, because it is getting really tedious to revert over and over again. As of now, the season article task force consists of only four members. We definitely need some more in order to work out a consensus, so... what would be the best strategy on order to "recruit" more people (aside from explicitly approaching users on their talk pages)? --Soccer-holicI hear voices in my head... 18:05, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
"the fact they have numbers doesn't mean they are part of the first team"
[edit]You said this when removing a number of players from squad lists I had edited. But where is the line drawn? For example, you haven't removed Genoa #1, Danilo Russo, from the squad. What separates him from the others you removed? Or Andrea Seculin, Fiorentina #90. Or Dionisi and Di Bella of Livorno.
There's really no harm in having them in the squad list, even if they've yet to make a first team appearance.
"Lega Calcio squads are not really official" It really doesn't get any more official.

I noticed your comment to the above here. I was back tracking a real odd edit from this editor to Category:Non-free comic images - [2].
As near as I can tell it's their only edit to comics related material, but it is, essentially, and abuse of the non-free images since the gallery was left in place.
I'm not sure if this is something you would link to the issue you raised and gave "final warning" to, but...

If you take a look at the colors for the league table, the change mirrors exactly the color codes used in the proposal.
I originally had the darker set of hues included, but then User:Struway pointed out some contrast difficulties in this discussion back in May. I wasn't aware of WP:COLOR at that time and thus had completely forgotten about things like color blindness and stuff. So, as a consequence, I lightened up all colors in the proposal.
As for the changes - I would leave them for now since he changed all 2009(-10) European top leagues, but nevertheless we should codify the exact values somewhere. The MoS discussion for league season articles hopefully gains some drive via the recent Premier League discussion so that we can release something within the next couple of weeks. --Soccer-holicI hear voices in my head... 22:28, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Angelo.romano! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 18 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 43 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

— Luxic (talk) 11:23, 19 January 2010 (UTC)
