License tagging for Image:Amit Raina.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Amit Raina.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Hari Parbat, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. Redirect
[edit]I noticed you messing with the article C.M.S Tyndale Biscoe Memorial School. I changed it so it redirects to Tyndale Biscoe School. To do this, I used the redirect notation #REDIRECT [[Tyndale Biscoe School]]. This creates a page that automatically goes to the given page. If you have any question, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Evan Seeds (talk) 07:04, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
Duplicate images uploaded
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Rupa Bhawani.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you uploaded the same image twice: as Image:Rupa Bhawani.jpg and also as Image:RopaBhawani.jpg. The latter copy of the file has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and remember exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 07:17, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Unspecified source for Image:Rupa Bhawani.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Rupa Bhawani.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 15:22, 19 April 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. - Mike Rosoft 15:22, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Hazratbal from close.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:Hazratbal from close.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. - Mike Rosoft 15:28, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- Presumedly, it is you who made the photo, so please add a statement that this is the case to the image description case, with a copyright tag indicating its license, such as {{PD-self}} (public domain/unrestricted third-party use), {{GFDL-self}} (GFDL license), or {{cc-by}} or {{cc-by-sa}} (Creative Commons licenses). If you have any questions, please ask at my talk page. - Mike Rosoft 15:44, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

Image without license
[edit]Unspecified source/license for Image:Biscoe School.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Biscoe School.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

License tagging for File:Kheerbhawani 2008 Dec.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Kheerbhawani 2008 Dec.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 22:09, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:VicharNagTemple 2.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:VicharNagTemple 2.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. October 2016
[edit]Please do not add defamatory content to Wikipedia, as you did to List of Kashmiri people, especially if it involves living persons. Thank you. Airplaneman ✈ 18:29, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
- Apologies; my warning was not completely accurate. This is the edit I'm notifying you about. Neutral tone and verifiability are important, especially when talking about living people (no matter how vile they may be). Please cite sources and stick to a more neutral tone in the future for these kinds of edits. Best, Airplaneman ✈ 18:35, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Azad Kashmir, you may be blocked from editing. Warning for politically motivated vandalism. - Tom | Thomas.W talk 10:52, 8 October 2016 (UTC)

Image source problem with File:Mata Kheer Bhawani.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Mata Kheer Bhawani.jpg.
This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.
While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.
If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F4 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 13:49, 25 July 2022 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 13:49, 25 July 2022 (UTC)
