Legacies (TV series)

I am perfectly okay with you disagreeing with me (well, if you have something concrete to back up your contention, I mean) but your recent comments (just one example) when you do are bordering on personal attacks and your increasingly standard approach of tag-teaming with IJBall is approaching cabal-like behaviour (and it's pretty clear from communication and edit patterns that you two often work in tandem to get your way). I'm sure if I've noticed this, others have too, so I would recommend you keep your commentary limited to people's edits, and leave out your opinions of the people making them. —Joeyconnick (talk) 22:21, 9 March 2019 (UTC)

@Joeyconnick: And, by the same token, do not cast WP:ASPERSIONS on other editors when you're leaving a message like this... I also noticed that you never attempted to post the article's Talk page when reverted. Walk the Prank

You may want to keep an eye on this one – it's another one that was never officially ended, with the official number of season #3 episodes never announced either (AFAICT), but people are making unsourced changes to both of these. It won't be a year from the last newly aired episode until July, so unless a source can be produced, saying anything about the show ending at this point would be premature. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 02:13, 12 March 2019 (UTC)

Backstage (Canadian TV series)

I mainly edit through visual editor, as it’s easier to make text italic & cite sources, but do you know why it added spaces into the Backstage infobox? Is it a bug within Wikipedia or is that just how it operates? DarkGlow (talk) 08:43, 20 March 2019 (UTC)

Also, speaking of Backstage, it says on the article that the second season was released internationally on Netflix; it wasn’t though. Can’t speak for every country, but in the UK we only got S1 – DarkGlow (talk) 08:51, 20 March 2019 (UTC)

Showbuzz Daily

Is there any particular reason why this site is preferred? The founder's a former NBC staff member, it seems, but it just comes off as looking like someone's random WordPress blog. ViperSnake151  Talk  16:16, 21 March 2019 (UTC)

@ViperSnake151: Showbuzzdaily is republishing ratings data directly from Nielsen. While in this instance both Showbuzzdaily and The Futon Critic can probably be considered "Primary sources", of the two Showbuzzdaily is probably a little better, being a little more independent of the subject – all Futon Critic is doing is republishing a press release directly from Disney which can hardly be considered an "independent source". So, I think Showbuzzdaily is valid as used here (and the somewhat better choice). If you're worried about it, you can add the PR via Futon Critic as a second source for the info. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 16:32, 21 March 2019 (UTC)

Double Dare (Nickelodeon game show)

Hey, are you going to open a follow-up WP:RM on Double Dare? If you do, I would narrow the new RM down to just moving Double Dare (Nickelodeon game show) → Double Dare (1986 game show) – then the specific Double Dare (1986 game show) vs. Double Dare (franchise) option can be hashed out... @IJBall: The only one on there I remember is Nathan Fillion, who appeared in "Finding Fillion" and "The Spring Gala." Otherwise, your best bet would be to use IMDb to see where guest cast appeared. Amaury (talk | contribs) 15:19, 27 March 2019 (UTC)

@IJBall: I generally steer clear of those articles unless I'm asked to keep an eye on them for vandalism or other disruptive edits—for example, Legacies. Knowing people, any one of our "friends," who is wrong 99.9% of time time, will show up and revert the additions as a "violation of WP:TVCAST," which you recently started a discussion about. Add: I am a regular viewer, yes, but I've fallen really behind on everything. I've recently gotten caught up on The Good Doctor and will be caught up with FBI after watching three more episodes. You wouldn't be reverted for that, because you like adding the episode info as a {{cite episode}} inline citation, which is certainly how some editors in WP:TV prefer it. You'd only possibly get reverted if you added the episode info, in-text, like: "(in "Finding Fillion", "The Spring Gala")" – while I have no issue with the latter way, apparently some WP:TV editors do... But you like doing the inline cites, so you'd be fine... But, if you've fallen behind, you've fallen behind! (I myself am behind on Victoria, and haven't even watched the first two episodes of The Fix yet!) --IJBall (contribs • talk) 15:53, 27 March 2019 (UTC)

@IJBall: Is The Fix good from promos you've seen? I never have any of the broadcast networks on as "background noise"—I have Nickelodeon/Nick at Nite or Disney Channel, and on rare cases TeenNick—and most of the time my TV is muted, anyway, so I haven't seen anything about it. Because the ratings info that's currently in the episode table at Saved by the Bell: The College Years probably needs to be shifted into a proper {{Television episode ratings}} table. @IJBall: I will take a look when I can. I see that back then Nickelodeon wasn't quite as big as it was during, say, the Sam & Cat days, as the highest viewers I see there for one day is 2.04 million.
