Arvind Singh
[edit]Arvind Singh[1] (born 8th July 1962) is the lead guitarist of Indian Rock Band Hundred Octane.[2] A mechanical engineer who quit his job to pursue his passion of music.[3]
Early Life & Career
[edit]Founder and lead guitarist of the band Hundred Octane[4][5] (since 1993) one of the pioneers of Indian rock n roll bands. A TEDx speaker[1], a teacher, a poet, a musician, Arvind Singh believes that to live, there should be Rock n’ Roll, and who plays Guitars, Ukulele, Oud, Harmonica, Saxophone, etc.[6]
He firmly believes that humanity is the essence of life which also reflects in the songs[7] that he writes about the injustices of society.[8] He’s been a teacher for almost 16 years and has produced more than 200 successful musicians in India.[9] He also organised a huge fundraiser for Rock for Child rights[2] in 2003 and is a huge supporter of numerous NGO(s) such as bhumi.
