[edit]

Thank you, I appreciate the welcome. I have been tinkering around Wikipedia for many years, but I need a few pages to be recognized as my work (at least initially).

I would like to use this talk forum to validate my position. I am an instructor at Johns Hopkins University Engineering for Professionals (EP is the night school), Allyn Shell. I teach the Compiler Design with LLVM course.

Function2Array moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Function2Array, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. User:Onel15969 I have published this page with as many references as I know to be published. As this topic was communicated to me privately from my Father, it is not published elsewhere. Having remained unpublished for 35 years is IMO evidence that it is original to him.

I believe that this is a topic that should be made know, but you say that with no published reference it should not appear in Wikipedia? Please tell me how it can be made known generally without appearing in Wikipedia? I made my best effort to restrict the article to the topic without personal input, but I have no other source but my personal input, and the topic is important IMO. WP:RS not available, see Talk page. Allyn Shell (talk) 15:54, 17 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also, the topic is technical, and therefore should be sufficiently self explanatory and self contained as an independent topic. It does not contain opinion.Allyn Shell (talk) 15:57, 17 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Donald Shell. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 12:31, 18 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Function2Array

[edit]

Hello, Allyn Shell. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Function2Array".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 23:56, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
