A tag has been placed on Lightspeed communication, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Lightspeed communication and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Jujutacular (talk) 02:05, 7 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Don't take any offense at all of these recent messages. I saw your edits regarding the Pajero (at Mitsubishi 6G7 engine) and feel that you will be a good addition to the project. Nonetheless, if you are able to provide sources, your edits will be safer from reverts in the future. If you need any help in formatting or anything else, please feel free to contact me if there is anything I can do. Best regards,  ⊂| Mr.choppers |⊃  (talk) 08:02, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I looked at your new edits and you are definitely doing well. I hope you'll stay in touch and will keep editing. Also, do you have a camera? If so, there are probably many everyday cars in your neighborhood which may seem boring to you but would be very interesting to the rest of the world - should you see fit to share them at the Commons. Cheers and all the best,  ⊂| Mr.choppers |⊃  (talk) 09:39, 21 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I currently on holiday so I'll keep editing, I also have some cameras laying around so I'll take some pictures. Thanks for the comment ^_^. alawadhi3000

Hi. When you recently edited Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page I4 (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:42, 5 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on VIVA Bahrain requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. ⚠

Thanks for uploading File:VIVA Bahrain logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Cloudbound (talk) 20:45, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Bahrain edits

[edit]

Hi! First of all, thanks for your edits and for creating the recent Al Aali Complex, The Bahrain Mall & Al Enma Mall pages, these pages will be of use for people in the future. However, I have noticed you have not provided citations for the latter page. Please understand that, even though you can confirm that this mall exists, you have to provide a citation for the facts mentioned. An example is complex covers 70,000 square metres and attracts about 480,000 visitors per year (in The Bahrain Mall article), please provide a citation for this. If you do not know how to properly provide a citation (which is alright, I had the problem too for a while!), please read WP:REFB. Cheers! --Droodkin (talk) 11:46, 19 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Al Aali Shopping Complex

[edit]

Hello Alawadhi3000,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Al Aali Shopping Complex for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Deletion discussion about Al Aali Shopping Complex

[edit]

Hello, Alawadhi3000,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Al Aali Shopping Complex should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Al Aali Shopping Complex .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Recent revert

[edit]

Hello Alawadhi3000, I wonder why you have reverted my edit (Special:Diff/929823180), could you please explain it? Best regards, --Johannes (Talk) (Contribs) (Articles) 15:20, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I am a bit confused, since kg·m is a notation for the kilopondmetre, it just lacks the acceleration bit, which is why it is to be avoided (it ought to be kg·m²/s²/9.80665, but kp·m is just a much simpler notation). Best regards, --Johannes (Talk) (Contribs) (Articles) 09:13, 9 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
As I have stated in my edit, kg·m lacks the acceleration bit required for being torque, because a mass of 1 kg does not include any sort of acceleration. kp on the other hand is defined as a mass of 1 kg accelerated by standard gravitational acceleration of 9.80665 m·s−2, so while 1 kg is just 1 kg, 1 kp = 9.80665 kg·m·s−2, or, in other words, 1 kg ≠ 1 kg. These two units are not interchangable, because their dimensions are different. Kilogramme is mass, whereas Kilopondmetre is weight. I hope this makes sense to you, because I really don't wish to annoy you with this. Best regards, --Johannes (Talk) (Contribs) (Articles) 21:32, 9 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hyundai Smartstream Engine moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Hyundai Smartstream Engine, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Disambiguation support request

[edit]

While working on article Islamic advice literature I realized that word 'Qisas' is appearing in different meaning at Qisas Al-Anbiya it comes as story/anecdote telling (alternative spelling Kissa). And in article named Qisas seems to come as revenge. Need support in creating proper disambiguation page and links so reader do not end up in unexpected pages.

Of course article Islamic advice literature too needs support in update and expansion since lot of scholarly references are available in books and google scholar too.

Thanks in advance and greetings

Bookku (talk) 08:05, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Let me explain something, qisas (stories) is the plural term of qisa (story), the other word you are confusing "qisas" (revengue) is actually pronounced more like "qesaas" rather than "qisas". Alawadhi3000 (talk) 08:49, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, What I was looking for a page (now I created) Qisas (disambiguation) and still looking for your support to the page if it is proper and factual and also on discussion page participation to form a consensus which spelling to be used for which meaning.

Requesting your continued support and thanks

Kia K5

[edit]

Please do not touch the 0-60 times for the 2.5T unless you have a verifiable counter citation disputing the current one. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 104.205.17.178 (talk) 11:19, 28 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

1) Read the table headers first, the time is for 0-100kph (0-62 mph) not 0-60 mph.
2) The 0-100kph time is for official manufacturer advertised time only. Alawadhi3000 (talk) 12:15, 28 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You mind citing that official time with a link? My second link has the 0-60 at 5.2 seconds, 5.4 for 0-100 is more than accurate. Where are your links at? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 104.205.17.178 (talk) 12:33, 2 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

1) The time you provided isn't the official time provided by Kia.
2) As I said before, 0-62 isn't 0-60, you can't add 0.2s more and call it 0-62.
3) FYI, any magazine acceleration time from CarandDriver, Motortrend...etc are flawed, their 0-60 time isn't really 0 to 60, they don't count the time of the first foot which can take an extra 0.2s to 0.4s, plus they test at a dragstrip where grip levels are much higher which results in unrealistic lower time.
4) For the links that you asked for, googling "Kia K5 6.6" isn't hard, but here is a sample for you: https://www.autoblog.com/2019/12/17/2021-kia-optima-k5-engine-transmission-drivetrain/
"Kia says this engine is good for a 0-62 mph run of 6.6 seconds."

I'm done with the explanation, if you revert the edit one more time I'll report you.

Report me then. You can also tell them you're providing an article from 2019, my article are from actual test drives of the vehicle. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 104.205.17.178 (talk) 19:21, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Article from 2019? Lol, because a car will suddenly be faster without the manufacturer changing the engine, gearbox or at least the tires, the 6.6s time is the only official time provided by Kia and its the only time that can be put on that table.
A report will be submitted shortly. Alawadhi3000 (talk) 03:28, 4 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring

[edit]

I'm going to warn the IPs for edit-warring, but technically you could also be blocked for violating WP:3RR. Going over 3 reverts in a 24 hour period is a violation of that possible except in cases of obvious vandalism or spam. In the future, if someone is edit-warring (or using multiple IPs to edit war), please observe WP:3RR and use the edit-warring noticeboard. OhNoitsJamie Talk 19:50, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

He/they removed encyclopedic content which falls under vandalism which is exempted from 3RR rule as far as I know, thats why I didn't observe it.

Please respect WP:V and provide refs for your edits

[edit]

Hi, I want to thank you for your updates of process technology articles, but one thing you keep doing for some reason is not providing references. Don't get me wrong, this is not to say that your edits are incorrect (they are mostly fine, with few exceptions), only that verifiability is one of the core policies of Wikipedia and should be followed with due diligence.

I'm writing this after noticing another round of your edits: Special:MobileDiff/1127676981, Special:MobileDiff/1127677818, Special:MobileDiff/1127678374 – all unsourced, even though in this case a single source would be sufficient for all three: https://fuse.wikichip.org/news/7343/iedm-2022-did-we-just-witness-the-death-of-sram/ (it's the best source from what I read on the topic).

In the past, I used to add refs for a number of your unsourced edits, but I can't afford giving WP much time these days to keep doing it. Besides, being an IP editor, sometimes I can't: I recall wanting to add a ref for another unsourced edit by you Special:MobileDiff/1120737369 (9200 PR and datasheet would do fine here as a source), but couldn't do it as the page was semi-protected. I recall that something else needed a fix after your edits there, but I can't recall what it was.

So keep up your work, but in doing so please keep to good practices and policies of WP, and for the time being please add refs for above-mentioned edits. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.66.35.75 (talk) 07:23, 18 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Alawadhi3000! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Hyundai Nu engine that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. - Sumanuil.
