Joseph Ribas (French author) moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Joseph Ribas (French author), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. - As I said previously in reply to the above, thank you for moving my article "Joseph Ribas (French author)" into draft space. I realised subsequently that I should have put it there in the first place.
- You say that the article "needs more citations from reliable, independent sources."
- In fact, all the material in the article is based upon information in the two sources cited in the article. I would suggest that both sources qualify as reliable and independent.
- One is a highly respected French publication which is managed by the "Association des amis du musée pyrénéen de Lourdes". The other is the website of an association which was established jointly in 2018 by the French government and the Occitanie Region. The association is also listed on a Wikipédia page concerning the Fédération interrégionale pour le livre et la lecture.
- Wikipedia pages concerning Joseph Ribas have already appeared in French and Catalan, in both cases with rather less information and fewer cited sources than in my draft English page.
- I have now made a number of changes to the draft article, and I have submitted it for review. Alan Mattingly (talk) 12:52, 14 March 2021 (UTC)
The file File:Entente Cordiale monument.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
a better image, by the same author, is now available; see File:Monument Ă l'Entente Cordiale, Vernet-les-Bains.jpg
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
