Sorry
[edit]Sorry, I wasn't sure if all deaths should be lumped under one heading or not. Didn't mean to offend. Arundhati lejeune 11:24, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
- I appreciate your concern. And thank you for the edit help. :) Arundhati lejeune 11:41, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

Agent Zwei and 81 with love
[edit]I was suspicious when I couldn't verify anything about the "death" of this editor, despite having their supposed real name. When I checked the user contributions of the supposedly dead editor, 81 with love (talk · contribs), then checked the brand new account which first mentioned this editor's death (Agent Zwei (talk · contribs)), I discovered that Agent Zwei (talk · contribs)'s account was created just over an hour after 81 with love (talk · contribs)'s last edit. In addition, Agent Zwei (talk · contribs) immediately began editing WNBA article, which 81 with love (talk · contribs) focused on. Per the Duck test, this seemed like a sock puppet. To my knowledge, there were no other disruptive edits (although claiming to have died is pretty dang disruptive). Best,--Alabamaboy 11:57, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
WikiProject Netherlands
[edit]Hey, I have added the Project tags to a lot of articles today. I was wondering, do we consider foreign footballers playing for Dutch teams as a part of the project or not? Knurftendans 21:16, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, that was what I was thinking too, but I mainly asked the question because of at the project this was stated "The Netherlands Wikiproject generally considers any article related to Netherlands as a valid topic. Having said that, we shall try to include all such articles in the Category:Netherlands." The foreign players in for instance Category:Vitesse players do make part of the Category:Netherlands. That's mainly why I was wondering. Knurftendans 21:44, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, why not I think it's a good idea. Knurftendans 22:23, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
- I have added my name to the list hope that is ok. Maybe you can help me how to include User:Knurftendans/Sporting Dutchies and User:Knurftendans/Sporting Dutchies in Red into the Netherlands Project as I think it can be a lot of help. Knurftendans 22:38, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

Football task force
[edit]Just to let you know as part of my task force work, I've created a Task Force covering Holland/Netherlands. You can find it at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Football/Holland task forcePaulbrock 11:22, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, think between us we've renamed/moved all the right things...I'll wait till the Speedy moves on the categories go through but that should be everything..sorry for getting it wrong first time! Paulbrock 12:02, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
Welcome
[edit]Hi, and welcome to the Military history WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to military history.
A few features that you might find helpful:
- Our navigation box points to most of the useful pages within the project.
- The announcement and open task box is updated very frequently. You can watchlist it if you're interested; or, you can add it directly to your user page by including {{WPMILHIST Announcements}} there.
- Most important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
- The project has several departments, which handle article quality assessment, detailed article and content review, offline publication, article improvement contests, and other tasks.
- We have a number of task forces that focus on specific topics, nations, periods, and conflicts.
- We've developed a variety of guidelines for article structure and content, template use, categorization, and other issues that you may find useful.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask one of the project coordinators, or any experienced member of the project, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! Wandalstouring 09:46, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
I see you struck your vote pending a response at Wikipedia_talk:Copyrights#Copyright_on_translated_content. Just a note: your question there has been answered. SalaSkan 12:58, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
List_of_songs_about_masturbation is in it's 5th AfD
[edit]List_of_songs_about_masturbation is up for it's fifth AfD. You participated in an earlier one. If you wish to participate again, please go to Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/List_of_songs_about_masturbation_(5th_nomination) -- Lentower 03:26, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
Rather than threaten to lock the TRNC article with yet another pov tag, could you warn Larisv to stop his pov blitz on Cyprus related articles? He has tagged a number of TRNC articles, removed sources he does not like and generally ignored my request that he discuss his changes. Under these circumstances, what choice am I left with other than to revert? --A.Garnet 10:23, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
- Larisv poor conduct continues. He has just deleted an entire section on human rights in Cyprus for no reason, without discussion. The same reckless removal of material can be seen in Cyprus intercommunal violence, Ethnic Cleansing, Cyprus dispute and Civilian casualties and displacements during the Cyprus conflict. This is in addition to his tagging of 5 TRNC article with pov-title and and totallydisputed tags without raising the issue on any of the talk pages. As I requested 4 days ago, please warn Larisv to begin improving his conduct and stop the relentless pov pushing. --A.Garnet 20:44, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
Thanks
[edit]Thanks for restoring my vote in that AfD. Eyrian must've just overlooked it when he or she reverted my little editing screw up. Atropos 00:26, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
Mijn kale knikker
[edit]Well, hopefully the news will not be so shocking as to render me bald, and until then, I shall remain bold. Bedank je wel voor de station... Blur4760 21:08, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
Your note
[edit]Thanks for the note you left on my talk page. Looking more closely at my recent edits though, you will find that practically all reverts I have done were undoing revets carried out on recent edits to articles (most of them by the same user) without any justification or comment on the talk pages, or simply reverting pure vandalism on wikipedia articles. You are right though about the need to use the talk page more to accompany any major edit - though doing so in the TRNC article, and on a minor and rather obvious point at that, just led to no actual talk and just another round of reverts by the same user.
